Stayed 4 nights

We were a family of 3 staying for 4 nights and we were disappointed with the level of this hotel. We stayed in one of the villa behind the main building. While it was sold as "authentic" Korean house I felt it was more kept in the old style but without upgrades for decades. No beds, no tables, and no chairs available, Instead of bed were "futons" were literally blankets put on the ground, so we had to sleep on the ground it self Showers were in same 2sqm room as toilets and taps were falling apart. Location of our bungalow was just aside the trash area... Adding that i asked for an additional key (total 3) and were requested to give a KRW10,000 deposit to be reimbursed upon return. Despite we asked to change room at the beginning of our stay, noticing all of these problems, we were answered all villas has no beds and in same shape (which was not true as we have seen other villas were having beds available) Answer as well was they have no other room available, except for night #4. We have not tested the breakfast, as the restaurant was not very welcoming. On a positive note: Aircon was working well, not too noisy, and daily room cleaning was done with water bottle full filled in the fridge Would not recommend this hotel unless management decide to upgrade quality of service and rooms

We stayed in a hanok by the pond, which was beautiful from the outside. However, the interior felt rather cheap and worn, and it did not seem to be very well maintained. Most of the paper panels on the walls and doors had holes or scratches, and the bathroom seals were cracked. The bathroom also had an unpleasant smell. In addition, the window overlooking the pond was very dirty. On the positive side, the staff were very nice, parking was convenient, and the location was good.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The hanok was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. The staff was helpful and nice. Because their English wasn’t strong, they used translation apps which made the communication easy. The facilities like the laundry and gym were nice, and it was very convenient to have a small hotel-owned convenience store in the lobby. The hotel’s placement was not too far from the centre of Seogwipo, but it is more convenient to have a car. They also had their own parking lot, which made it easy.

This was such a cute little place to stay. We were looking for a tour of the island without having to go back into the city and the front desk staff were very helpful in finding us an English speaking guide. There’s not a lot around to walk to as far as restaurants go, but we did partake in the 2 closest ones to our hotel and both restaurants were excellent.
