Fer was perfect! The quality is so high for the proposed price, the staff was exceptional and the compound itself is so well located, quiet, clean. There is available breakfast (that is delicious), a gym, etc. We loved staying there and will be back for sure!

My wife talked me into getting a better hotel for our time in Istanbul and I am so happy she did. The Fer hotel was super conveniently located, walking diatance to the main attractions and has a really modern renovation. The food was great, my son and I enjoyed the gym and we had great help from Ebrahim with our bags and organizing a taxi to the airport. Great hotel!

The hotel is fully updated. Rooms are upscale and beautiful. Location is great. 7 minute walk to Hagia Sofia and Blue Mosque. Restaurants nearby. The staff is polite and service was excellent. The amenities were great.

Es gab keine Bar und das sogenannte Dach Restaurant hat nur zum Frühstück geöffnet. Es war also nicht möglich sich bei sonnigem Wetter mit einem Getränk auszusetzen. Die Zimmer waren schön und sauber. Die Architektur ist sehr ansprechend. Der Service beim Frühstück machte einen etwas lustlosen Eindruck sah eher nach Dienst nach Vorschrift aus. Es lag nicht an der Anzahl der Leute. Er wirkte einfach nicht priaktiv. Es ist ein gutes Hotel speziell nach meiner Erfahrung im letzten Jahr. Ich hab allerdings in dieser Preislage schon besseres erlebt ( ndigo Kuhdamm Berlin). Zu betonen ist die absolute Ruhe in Anbetracht des Gewimmels in Sultanahmet.

The FER Hotel has a fantastic location within walking distance of all the Sultanahmet tourist spots. The staff is wonderful and very efficient. It all works from reception to breakfast to cleaning. The building is modern and so quite. We will be back soon

Hotel is good option value for money, in the walkable distance from all major sightseeings in old town. Rooms are comfortable and spacious. Staff is friendly. The only issue I had is related to plumbing. The was an odor in bathroom all the time and for 1 night I was even moved to another better room. But it seems like not only this hotel problem but more of a city problem.

Both rooms we got had issues with how clean (unclean actually), the bathrooms were. The staff moved very quickly a moved us to different rooms. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The property is beautiful, very modern. The area tourist friendly.

Nossa estadia no Fer Hotel foi simplesmente impecável. O ponto alto é a localização fenomenal: estávamos com duas crianças e um carrinho de bebê e conseguimos fazer praticamente todos os pontos turísticos principais a pé, sem estresse. As únicas vezes em que precisamos de deslocamento maior foram para o passeio no Bósforo (onde a equipe nos orientou perfeitamente a usar o bonde/trem, que é super prático) e para o aeroporto. Aliás, o hotel organizou todo o serviço de transfer de forma muito eficiente e por uma taxa justa, o que facilita muito a vida de quem viaja com filhos. O hotel é extremamente limpo, moderno e bem decorado. O café da manhã foi um verdadeiro diferencial, com muita variedade e qualidade. Para completar, a equipe é muito prestativa e agradável, sempre pronta para ajudar com um sorriso no rosto. Sem dúvida, a melhor escolha em Istambul. Recomendamos fortemente!

We had stayed in this hotel last year and my stay was lovely and due to that I decided to return this year in May. Our bathroom had a constant smell of strong sewage. It got so bad within a few days that the smell travelled into the bedroom. I ended up having to go downstairs to use their toilets on the floor where the gym was located Extremely disappointed with this experience. I did raise this with the staff who are generally lovely and helpful but they couldn’t do anything and there justification was the following: FER is located in one of Istanbul’s most historic districts, where certain infrastructure-related issues—particularly involving the older sewage systems—may occasionally affect even modern establishments like ours, especially under certain weather conditions. Nevertheless, we take full responsibility for your discomfort and regret that we were not able to meet your expectations on this occasion. I did email the General Manager to escalate my complaint but she hasn’t bothered to reply even though I sent another email requesting that she kindly replies to my email! Such a shame as this hotel is in a great location.

Breakfast was excellent and the room was comfortable although the glass wall to the bathroom meant keeping the blind down the entire weeks stay. A proper wall would be better. One of the windows had a broken latch which meant that it was slightly ajar which meant the room had a lot of road noise. We only noticed the problem the morning that we left.

Great location, your are very close to many touristy areas and close to lots of restaurants. Rooms with one bed or with tow single beds are very small and only it's a place to sleep and shower.

We reserved a senior suite. It was an interior room so very quiet which is important to us. It had a separate sitting area with a tv which allowed for plenty of space. There was an add at the foot of the bed. The shower had excellent pressure. The staff was extremely helpful and willing g to ensure you had a great stay. .

Beautiful boutique hotel with modern rooms and decor. Super comfortable beds and nice liquid soaps and shampoo for the shower. Very close to all the major attractions (Grand Bazaar, Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, etc). Breakfast at the hotel was tasty and had a nice selection. I would stay here again.

Nice small hotel located in the center of the old area of the city. Just be aware that our room ended up having a view of the incide of the hotel with it’s center colomn… Also the breakfast has limited choices but it was decent… we stayed 1 night so we didn’t mind, but I would not of stayed here long.

Fantastic hotel. Staff were amazing. Was very clean and modern. The only comment I would have would be the noise from the street. Double glazing is not very good and although we were on the 5th floor it was still very noticeable. Would definitely recommend and we will be back.

There was only one issue when something that was being held behind the front desk was mishandled. This was not what I would expect from a hotel of this caliber, otherwise we had a great stay. Without this incident I would rate this a perfect stay but unfortunately this put a stain on our stay.

Ibrahim is an enthusiast, pro-active, and helpful manager with equally nice and responsive staff. Due to Ibrahim’s attitude and his staff’s responsiveness, Fer Hotel will be my preferred hotel in Istanbul for the foreseeable future.

Quiet hotel in a good location, but not the super rating. An issue (not only with the hotel) is getting dinner recommendations. It was obvious the staff was instructed to send guests to a specific local restaurant. A problem in Istanbul is the ratings are useless (or worse). Many are outright fakes.

Personnel à l’accueil indifférent au client. Aucune attention le jour de l’anniversaire du client. Arrivée dans une chambre avec un lit cassé. Demander le changement semblait être une grande difficulté pour le personnel du desk. La première nuit, impossible de dormir car des clients faisaient du bruit… L’hôtel vit sur sa réputation ! He was Fantastic! Knowledgeable and friendly. The entire staff was exceptional. Ms. Beyan from Housekeeping ensured that our room remained spotless and smelled fresh throughout our stay. I would also like to thank Saïd at Reception, Faruk from Guest Relations, Mr. Ibrahim (Operations Manager), Mr. Onur, and Mr. Egnam. The hotel is modern, clean, and well situated, within walking distance of public transportation and local restaurants and shops. I will definitely come back to Fer Hotel the next time I visit Istanbul.

We had a lovely stay. Had an issue on our second night with our room but was swiftly rectified by the staff, they were all super friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend this hotel not just for the aesthetics but especially because of the staff!

Excellent staff, facility, and location. The check in staff very kindly checked us in to a beautiful room early in the morning at no additional cost because it was available and helped us out. The location of the hotel is central and walking distance to all attractions, shopping, and restaurants in old town. The light rail is 5 minutes away and it can take you places further out. The walking from and to the hotel are always downhill and uphill and good exercises for us. However, it can be difficult for people with walking problems.

We loved our one week stay at the Fer Hotel in Istanbul. It is two blocks from the tram, 5 minute walk to the Grand Bazaar, and under 10 minute walk to Hagia Sophia, Topkapi, and Blue Mosque. Tons of restaurants nearby. The beds were super comfortable and they offer pillow service. The staff and management were very helpful, responsive, and made the hotel feel like home. Breakfast each morning was fantastic - large fresh buffet. Even after a week, we did not want to leave. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Istanbul.

Perfect hotel to visit Istanbul, located in the old city center, all major attractions are in convenient walking distance. This place is a 10 out of 10, from the moment you arrive you are treated with charm and attentiveness, do go for the breakfast , it’s delicious, varied and quality food. The place is impecable, the beddings are great, the staff is fantastic and welcoming. Location is perfect for first time visitors wanting to see main attractions. You can’t go wrong booking here , highly recommend and will be returning in April .

The FER Hotel is in an amazing location walking distance to a lot of the main attractions. The double room was a good size and the shower was heavenly! The only complaint would be the breakfast buffet which was adequate but not worth the price. However you have plenty of options nearby to grab breakfast! I will definitely be booking here again.

The room was clean, good equipped, air conditioned and quiet. The hotel was situated in a narrow street in the neighborhood of all site seeing points. The breakfast was simple, but ok. The warm meals were not kept hot enough (too cold). The service was ok but only when you asked. Poor initiative.

The hotel itself was beautiful, location is perfect, breakfast was decent but they were lat with breakfast everyday. I also did not receive the VIP benefits from expedia or a room upgrade so that was disappointing. Breakfast is limited and the staff were always late putting out hot food and forgot to make my omelette two days in a row despite me asking about it multiple times. Took 20 mins one day and 30 mins the next so the staff need some more customer service training.

Es gab keine Bar und das sogenannte Dach Restaurant hat nur zum Frühstück geöffnet. Es war also nicht möglich sich bei sonnigem Wetter mit einem Getränk auszusetzen. Die Zimmer waren schön und sauber. Die Architektur ist sehr ansprechend. Der Service beim Frühstück machte einen etwas lustlosen Eindruck sah eher nach Dienst nach Vorschrift aus. Es lag nicht an der Anzahl der Leute. Er wirkte einfach nicht priaktiv. Es ist ein gutes Hotel speziell nach meiner Erfahrung im letzten Jahr. Ich hab allerdings in dieser Preislage schon besseres erlebt ( ndigo Kuhdamm Berlin). Zu betonen ist die absolute Ruhe in Anbetracht des Gewimmels in Sultanahmet.

The best hotel we have been to in Turkey. I must say they did take our bank cards for deposit security, and wrote down the information when we came, and it is within their policies. It was so odd for us, since this hasn’t happened to us in other hotels. Thus we gave our credit cards, and not our debit cards. 10:10 hotel. Food: vegetarian vibes. And some desserts.
