Air conditions so bad, Weak wifi But staff Service good.

There is only bed in room there is nothing at all, that is ignoring people conford, no drawers, no table, we put all stuff, bag on the floor, in reception caffe machine was not working, no parking, it was disappointed.

No nearby parking or legal ca passenger drop-off. Tiniest bedroom in the world, but clean. Reception excellent. Almost next to late night shopping and major rail station and large taxi rank and some bus and tram services: 3 minutes walk! But no noise!! If all you want is a bed with TV sitting in bed, excellent value for money. Don't expect a seat or table or coffee!

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. It is very run down and in poor condition. When my partner and I arrived the reception was more concerned with chatting to his colleague than helping us. His colleague kept staring at us and making us really uncomfortable. When we got to the room eventually it was very rundown. There was no toilet paper, the drain for the shower didn't stay in and kept floating away when we used the shower. The walls were dirty and there was dirt and rust all round the windows. The TV did not work properly so we had to use our phones and laptops to watch anything. The bed creaked every time we moved and the floor was flithy. Whilst I appreciate it is a budget hotel it was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and I will not be returning. If I could give this hotel a 0 star I would.

Good basic hotel, very friendly, helpful staff, reasonably clean. Free wi-fi and working tv is a big plus. Perfect location for the railway and trams. There's a high street with good selection of shops, too.

The room was too small with no table to keep stuffs as simple as a phone while charging. The toilet paper was of very low quality. I got stuck in the lift with my daughter on the third floor. Rang the alarm on the lift and a man picked but his voice wasn't audible while he was communicating. I called the reception and no one was picking. I was in the lift for 20mins untill i thought of calling the fire bridgade. They came as soon as possible and got us out of there. So we spent 30mins in the lift before we were rescued. The staff didnt even sympathise with us when we got out. No apologies and no word from management. This was really a bad experience for us and it left a bitter taste in my mouth. For the rest of our stay we had to use the stairs to the fourth floor where our room was located. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

No tea/coffee facilities in room. Had to get hot drinks via vending machine not suitable if need it middle of night or first thing in the morning.

I’ve already written to the chief executive of easyHotel to complain about this hotel. The management here seem to have decided to either lock guests in or gone too far in trying to keep other people out. You can’t get out of the hallway and into reception without your room key. No push button for the unsuspecting guests here. I got caught out by this, but fortunately a staff member let me out. Far more concerning than this social commentary was the fact that the thermostat in my room was defective and decided to default to 27C all night. This is undescribably hot and uncomfortable. I drank a litre and a half of water overnight before I ran out at 3am and downed a litre the following morning when I made it to a shop. I felt absolutely terrible and burst into tears at reception when I told them about it. They sympathetically told me I could have called down to reception so it could be reset manually, but I’m not convinced that this is the solution (particularly as the number isn’t displayed anywhere). They really should be maintaining their hotel better. That said, I wasn’t surprised. The room was scabby. Wallpaper was peeling off, the bathroom was displaying the first signs of damp damage and my bed hadn’t been made properly. I assume it was the cleaner’s hair that I found draped around my towel. I get that it’s cheap but I think we should expect better. Also, getting there was a nightmare on foot. The road was impossible to cross easily and safely.

We stayed for 2 nights. The room was very small but we expected that much for what we paid. However the space was difficult when there was no bedside table to charge phones. Then in the bathroom. The shower curtain was stained and the toilet was filthy like it had never been cleaned at all full of stains.

Stay was disappointing. 2 night stay. Check in was smooth, however, we were given a room that had not been cleaned. Bed was unmade and there were towels on the bed. Thankfully the guy at reception was helpful and gave us another room. We discovered that the bottom of the bed and on the sheets, there was dirt and stains. I woke up with bites all over my back. Not a good experience at Easy Hotel Croydon.

I am 57 yrs old and traveled all over the world. This was by far the Worst experience. First of all never stayed in a row with NO furniture not even a night stand. I dealt bed bugs, wifi did not really work. Four mornings No hot water, T.V. kept dropping off. I will disputing the the hotel charge.

Room was clean and represented good value for the money i paid.

Very far from the city and paying for the train is not worth it. Just book in the city. Not worth the money. Room was very dirty. Not clean at all. Mold in the bathrooms. Brown stains on the toilet. Please be safe!

It's a straightforward hotel. Easy on the budget and accessible to anything. A good cleaning and deodorizing will make it better though. Since a smell of smoke cigar is overwhelming in my room.

This is not a hotel, is more like a care home or something. No cleaning for a week stay, bathroom look like a hospital bathroom.

This is more than a basic budget hotel, was not at all what we expected. It is very near to the train station which is a plus, literally less than a 5 min walk. The room we had was a 'twin' room. We had to give each other way as we couldn't even pass each other the space was so tight. The bathroom we did not dare turn on the shower as it would have soaked the whole space and the hand wash basin was soo small you hardly could brush your teeth without water going everywhere. Would not choose to stop in this chain of hotels again. Using the word basic, does not give a true picture of how basic it is.

Nothing like the picture on the booking site.... No chair or shelf or bedside shelf to put your stuff on. Same in the bathroom....

Stayed for 1 night in an inside room with no windows. Check in was easy, the guy on reception was very polite and happy to help. The hotel itself was clean, but that’s where the good stops. The room was ok for £69, didn’t mind not having windows, after all I was only sleeping there. The bed however was extremely uncomfortable and very loud and creaky. The according to a sign on the wall, the aircon should be able to work constantly from 6pm however the time was not set correctly so it was turning off every hour (and continued to do so even after it reached 6pm on the aircon clock). The aircon would not turn on to cool, I assumed this was just a feature as I’ve stayed places where this is the case, but in the morning something happened and all of a sudden I had cool air. All in all a very poor nights sleep, constantly being woken by the noise of the bed and then being woken up because the aircon had turned off again and it was way too hot in the room (approaching 30° c according to the aircon display). The bathroom was ok, but because of the wet room design, once you had a shower, you had to get your feet wet to use the toilet or the mirror (no other mirror in the room).

The room is literally just a bed & a TV. No bedside tables, no lamp no chair ect. I know it's Budget- but is really no lighting behind the bedframe or somewhere to put a bottle of water or my phone when charging to much to ask when paying over £100 still?! Lol. The window was also very dodgy - the curtain was actually blowing whilst it was shut so the room overall was pretty cold! Cons - Room a bit cold due to windows not sealed properly. No bedside table. Small shower room meaning once you've showered you need to pop shoes on to go in the bathroom or get wet socks as no bath matt is supplied. Super firm bed & flat pillows. No mirror in the bedroom & no plug sockets near the bathroom so straightening hair hard work Pro's - Close to the train station. Shower pressure decent. Overall the room was clean. Bodywash/soap dispenser in the bathroom. Lighting in the bathroom good. Plus sockets at each side of the bed.

Good location, competitive price, but not a single surface on which to place clothes or even mobile phone and wallet.

Very small room. No place to put your belongings, not even end tables. No closet. Shower, toilet and sink all share the same floor space so be prepared to stand on a wet floor while using the toilet/sink haha. This hotel says they remove the frills/extras to reduce cost.. They go a bit far. At least give me a table and a chair??

Decent place in a pinch could barely walk around the bed the room we were in was so small. Bed was very comfy though

The room was like sweatbox at times because the window didn’t open luckily there was air con. The toilet and shower was all walk in so there was very little space to move around. The shower head leaked water in the bathroom every time you turnt the shower on overall poor facilities.

It's an excellent location right next to the East Croydon station with regular train service to central London. I've decided to stay here again and have no regrets. My room was clean, bed comfortable, no noise or troubles. Staff very friendly and helpful. Croydon have a good shopping area too and a few excellent restaurants. Overall very good experience and would stay again!

The reception staff was very unhelpful and not friendly.in the room no side tables to leave your stuff.

Very convenient to Transit System very Clean and comfortable Great Staff

Had an early flight from Gatwick, and this was much cheaper than staying nearer the airport. 15 min train to Gatwick from East Croydon in the morning made it ideal. The room was tight, not much space for more than a bed. But I didnt need much space. Very helpful and warm welcome by the reception staff.

We were looking for a hotel with easy access to Gatwick Airport and we were very happy with our stay here. The check in staff was friendly, the room was clean and you are very close to anything you would need. The train station is right across the street.

The room was very basic but that is what we signed up - there was no bedside table or unit of any kind to put anything on, and no lamp which was a shame, and only given one towel between two people as well but no staff about to ask for another. I think the room was clean but I spent as little time as possible there so can’t really say. The coffee machine in reception was a bonus however we didn’t use it.

great place locate right by East Croydon station

It is very close to Easy Croydon station with a Sainsburys local near by, so it was perfect for a night stay before flying out early the next day from Gatwick. The room was however a bit basic, hair dryer to be requested from reception and no kettle in case you want to make a drink. Room was good and it was comfortable. The building was a bit old but the interior is not bad at all.

Stayed for 3 nights on the 4th floor which was mostly quiet building seems . Very convenient location and property especially for Gatwick flyers. This establishment is very close to East Croyden Railway Station, Tram-link & bus services. Sainsbury local for grocery items. All literally 2 minutes walking distance. Room was small but cozy & clean, bathroom is an open plan setting; shower toilet sink in one space all together. I did not like that there was no table space to rest anything or closet space to hang items.

The hotel was opposite East croydon station which made the hotel very well situated for me.

Overall a good stay. The hotel is very conveniently located with bus stops over the road, a Sainsburys over the road and the train station a couple minutes away. Check in was quick and simple and Lia (I think her name was) was lovely. Very affable and assisted me without issue when my key not working after I returned from the gig I went to. The room was comfortable and generally clean. Not too noisy despite being next to relatively busy roads. Only issue near the start was someone being given the same room as me not long after I'd checked in. Not sure if the system had updated or just a miscommunication with them. Hopefully the chap isn't too traumatised from seeing me lying in my pants with a towel on my face to cool down.

This was perfect for what I needed. No frills, but clean, comfortable and with a good shower. Great location, easy access to London Bridge and Farringdon.

The room was clean and neat, but there were no bags in the garbage, which meant that the container itself was dirty and it made it more challenging to throw out food products. It was closely located to the train station, however it was sometimes noisy with all the trams going by. Also within a few minutes walk of a small grocery store and lots of restaurants. I wish there was a place to store items or a side table to put stuff on.
