Super Hotel, absolut perfekte Lage um alle Sehenswürdigkeiten zu erreichen. Viel zu Fuß machbar und ansonsten 4 Minuten bis UBahn. Absolut zentral im Leben mit Einkaufsstraßen, Straßenmusik und guter Atmosphäre/ Essensmöglichkeiten, aber dennoch ruhig in der Seitenstraße. Nachmittags gab es einen kleinen kostenfreien Snack und Getränke. Wunderbar nach einer Sightseeing Tour! Das Personal ist unglaublich hilfsbereit und die Zimmer sehr komfortabel.

Perfectly situated, you can walk to so many places including the night food market without the noise of the main road. The rooms was clean and with all that's needed. The staff was really helpful and professional. The swimming pool was definitely a nice ad-on considering the weather.

Staff, location and breakfast were excellent. The rooftop bar and pool is a great spot to have a drink as the sun goes down. We did have an issue with a moldy shower head which the staff replaced straight away, otherwise a perfect stay.

Great location and overall good hotel. However we found a lot of sand in our bed the first night, and I mean A LOT. Don’t know if this is from previous guests (hope not) or something they do. Also asked for Iron but they never came with it, room had iron board so strange there was no Iron. The location of the hotel is perfect, and lots of things in walking distance

Service is the key selling point that I am experiencing in this hotel, from the front desk to room cleaning and the restaurant. Hotel is centrally located in Bukit Bintang within walking distance to the MRT. Food is within the vicinity with some good cafes & restaurant as well as the famous Jalan Alor. Suggest to opt for their breakfast as they offer good wide spread of food. Good to kickstart for the day instead of searching around for food. Else, just opposite the entrance is a local eateries. Room wise is clean and tidy. Bathroom lighting is on the romantic spectrum but the water pressure is good with hot water. Good for someone who is picky on bathing like me 😅. Some shortfall, the wifi is very slow during those peak hours and we can’t seem to adjust the aircon to a higher setting. Overall, a great hotel that’s definitely worth the price.

The Rooms have been renovated and are fabulous. Better than some dated 5 star hotels in Kuala Lumpur. The exterior is a nit rough but the rooms are awesome. Big and spotless with a free bar fridge with loads of water and drinks. Great location close to restaurants and pavilion mall.

We had a really lovely stay here! The hotel was very clean, the room was comfortable, and the staff were all so friendly and helpful — they really made us feel welcome. The place had such a peaceful, welcoming vibe, and you could tell real care goes into keeping it nice. The doorman would literally run to open the door or help carry a bag — most of the staff were highly attentive and genuinely seemed to care about guests’ comfort. The only small downsides were the TV and the breakfast service. The TV was quite old, with limited app options and fewer than 20 channels available. When we tried to use Netflix, the app didn’t work, and it had to be replaced with another TV. The staff handled it quickly and politely, but a simple update to newer TVs would make a big difference. The breakfast gentleman was kind, but it would’ve been nice if he’d checked in each morning to see if we wanted tea, coffee, or eggs. The afternoon service was a really lovely touch — it made the stay feel extra special and showed how much effort the hotel puts into looking after guests. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. With a few small improvements, it would be perfect!

This was my second time staying at this KL Journal. The first time was in December 2019, the staff then were much nicer and had better service. The staff now refrain from engaging with customers. The staff now do not even greet you on arrival, no welcome, nothing. If they see you around, they look grumpy and don’t expect to be asked how your stay was on departure either. Our room was on the 10th floor and was nice… but it is difficult to sleep due to the outside noise of live bands playing around Bukit Bintang. The breakfast has improved from the last time I stayed, so that was good!

The Hotel is in good condition it is modern and the staff were all very welcoming and helpful. The area around the hotel is dirty but felt safe and any people we met around the area were polite and friendly. The hotel is well positioned for transport links within the city and has many places to eat and have a drink from local to global foods and drinks. A big thank you to the staff for letting us keep our room on for a couple of hours for free as we had an evening flight. My only gripe was the music that was played at the pool which was brain dead club music not for me. I like to chill at the pool:)

前後共入住了2晚，第一晚7點多入住，感覺還好！第2次下午3:15到達，房間還未執好，起初說要等15分鐘確認，後來說要多等一個小時，這我未能接受，早上趕車來到，竟然要下午4點多才有房間，(沒其他旅客在等），經理的態度也不夠禮貌，一句抱歉也沒有，經理延長我們退房時間到2pm，可是另有行程未能享受！人手不足，員工態度也需再陪訓，不太會說英文，問了幾次都不明白又黑面，要隔離同事翻譯。

Great location with lots of Middle Eastern restaurants around. The front desk was friendly but not very helpful. The welcome card mentioned pillow options, but there was no pillow menu in the room and only one firm pillow available. I got a connecting room with poor soundproofing, and the sink’s hot and cold taps were reversed—I even got scalded on the first night. The curtains weren’t fully blackout, so light sleepers beware. On the bright side, the room was very clean. Breakfast was okay, worth trying once.

Great location to the shopping, restaurant, and tourist place. But I front of the hotel is bit dark so you may need to be little careful especially if you were ladies and kids. The place is one way next to huge and busiest road, so you may take time to get taxi. Staff are friendly and super kind. Breakfast is amazing. They serve lots of local manu but not too strongly local taste. So easy to try it out and find your best local food. And do not worried there are breads and pasta options. Overall i will definitely coming back for next time. This is my best hotel in this area around this badget.

I really enjoyed my stay here, great hotel that had everything I needed. Room was neat & tidy and quiet. Rooftop pool and bar was great. Easy access to the Pavillion shopping centre and right in the middle of Bukit Bintang. Only negative was it was hard for GRAB cars to find the hotel as there were some roadworks happening making it hard to get in. This is temporary so I'm sure will be cleared up soon, nothing the hotel can do about it. Hotel staff were friendly and super attentive to my needs. I'll stay here again when travelling to KL.

The staff at the Journal were excellent, they were very friendly, efficient and polite. I was made to feel very welcome. I loved the afternoon drinks and snacks that were provided, this was a very nice touch. The room was pleasant with a great view of the Petronas Towers which looks fabulous at night. The location is very convenient for MRT, monorail and shops and restaurants. Breakfast was good.
