Naif Boutique Hotel

The place was nice and the price is good! We loved the breakfast! The parking is a little far away but they have a golf car which took us there every time we needed.

This property was so beautiful just like the pictures & the staff was so nice and accommodating! The 24 hour Concierge service was a huge plus for us that we didn’t even know we needed !!! The restaurant and bar located in frying off the hotel was delicious and quick l, once again- very thoughtful staff! I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough and can’t wait to stay here again

We had an amazing stay. The views of the volcanos are amazing. The location is great in proximity to most things. Very walkable from the hotel. We did a couples massage and it was fantastic.

This hotel is as beautiful as shown in the pictures. The rooms and property are very clean, safe, and well maintained. The staff is very friendly, polite, helpful, and go above and beyond to make your stay the best it can be. The hotel is in a very convenient location near touristy spots where you can easily walk the town.The food from the on-site restaurant is very good along with the messages from the on-site masseuse. We highly rate and recommend the Naif hotel. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

The hotel is very nice and very well located. There are many restaurants and the staff was very friendly. I would only recommend more flexibility in the parking hours as they only let us park until check in time (3 pm) and take the car out at 12 pm. Other than that everything was great and I would stay again.

Wonderful location. Nice enough hotel, was able to get a bottom floor room so we didn't have to lug our suitcases upstairs. Hotel does have a restaurant/bar which is convenient but there are many other options nearby so we didn't use it. If mailing postcards to the US, there is a DHL office just down the street! If parking a car, know that you will need to be shuttled via golf cart about 5-10 minutes to pick it back up. Slightly inconvenient but given the location is absolutely worth it. You can very easily park for loading/unloading right in front of the hotel.

Property was generally unclean, area is unclean, and it’s tucked away in a corner for the island. View is nice, staff is nice, but room condition was not par for me.

I was really expecting more from this property. I liked the location. Other than that, one of the rooms we got had a leak in the roof, right on top of one of the beds, so the bed got wet. Luckily, we got help changing to another room as soon as we reported the problem. The rooms had a smell of humidity. It is hard to sleep from the noise, especially in the first floor, because you can hear everything that is happening on the second floor. It is a good choice if you want to be at a walking distance from shops, restaurants, and the central part of Antigua.

I've been to Antigua several times an stayed in quite few hotels. There's a lot to like about Hotel Naif. The rooms and the gardens are attractive. The hotel staff is exceptionally kind and helpful. There problem we had was that our room was so musty that it made our nose and throat burn and gave us a headache. After one night, we had to talk to the staff and move to a new room. They obliged. Our new room was much better but still had a mild musty smell. There is also a hotel cafe with music and it's loud in the rooms at night until 9pm. But There's so much to like but based on the smell, we will not stay again. If you have mold sensitivity, you may want to look for another hotel.

En general bien. Excelente ubicación, muchos restaurantes y bares cerca. Por otro lado, las habitaciones muy espaciosas pero con camas muy pequeñas y muy mal mantenimiento de los baños. La jabonera y el reposa toallas estaban rotos. Si le ponen más atención a estos detalles, fuera un hotel al que regresaría

The room I was assigned was in terrible condition, and the soundproofing was so bad I couldn’t sleep at all. It felt like I was lying on the street. The reception just told me there’s nothing they could do. Thank you for giving me such a bad memory of Guatemala!

Unfortunately, rooms did not have A/C and it was too warm at night.

The bathroom was a bit small but the room was very spacious, the beds super comfortable, the towels soft and the garden very nice.

I loved my stay and would like to break it down into sections for future travelers. I’d like to be clear that everyone is different and only you know your personal preferences and tolerance levels, so with that in mind, here’s my honest review… Grounds and Atmosphere: The property is stunning! It’s a boutique hotel so it offers a really beautiful atmosphere and the views are amazing when walking through the hotel. If you want to see breathtaking views of the volcanos, head to the second floor balcony. I absolutely loved the ambiance and natural outdoor feel of the place when walking the grounds. Cleanliness: I was impressed by how well they maintained property grounds. Staff were efficient and quick to remedy any problems. I really appreciated coming back from a long day to a very clean and restocked room (upon request). Room & Comfort The room was very comfortable and I appreciated the authentic decor. It didn’t contain a microwave or fridge, but that was fine for me because of how I chose to dine during my stay. The only window in the room faced the reception and hallway area so I kept it closed during my time there but they have other rooms that face different parts of the property. I would have preferred a room that faced outside but this was not a deal breaker since I was often not in the room. Staff & Service Everyone was welcoming, polite, and willing to assist with whatever questions I had. They were so helpful and accommodating.

Es un hotel muy bonito, los servicios que tienen son muy buenos y el personal siempre fue muy atento, las habitaciones son cómodas y siempre limpias, además que está muy cercano a los puntos turísticos y en calle muy tranquila, nuestro único inconveniente fue que el calor se encierra mucho y el ventilador no ayuda y que falta lugar como repisas o un armario para poner cosas y cajas de seguridad en las habitaciones, a pesar de ello lo recomiendo mucho, ya que cuenta con unas vistas preciosas del volcán

We enjoyed our stay at the Naif Hotel for two nights. The hotel was centrally located and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was simple but clean. My only comment is that the mattress could use an upgrade, and if you’re staying in a room above the front court yard, it can get noisy early in the morning with guests in the restaurant.

The hotel is amazing and the staff are all friendly. We booked a triple room. When we arrived, the hotel had two triple rooms available and the staff let us pick the one we wanted to stay at. They also helped us to book a car to Guatemala City.

Atencion pesima.

This was a perfect stay for us in Antigua. Our flight came in late, but I was able to confirm with them that we were going to be there around 11p and they had someone waiting to let us in once we had arrived. From there, the location was perfect! The staff are very kind and you can’t beat the views!

El señor de la recepción fue muy grosero. Se quebró un ventilador que ellos mismos colocaron en una mesa de noche, quisieron cobrarnos un extra de Q450 y al explicar que no había sido culpa nuestra, el señor de la recepción se dedicó a hacer caras y ser grosero con nosotras. El hotel no tiene aire acondicionado y es muy caluroso: si buscan un lugar cómodo y buena atención no se queden acá.

I can't say enough good things about Naif. This was all-around an excellent stay. Staff were incredibly kind and helpful whenever we needed anything. The room was clean and comfortable, with stunning views. The location could not be beat. It was great to have coffee downstairs in the mornings and having the option for breakfast there or adventuring out. It was also just the right amount of busy- never too crowded or loud, but always some activity. We will definitely be coming back.

Naif Hotel is very well located, with easy walking to the square and pretty much anywhere in Antigua. From the 2nd floor (but we were on the ground floor) there is a lovely view of the volcano. They have a nice garden. The staff is friendly and helpful, having knowledge of Spanish is helpful as some of the front office staff do not speak English. Rooms cleaned daily and very well. Things that could be improved: The front office staff did not tell us about breakfast, supposed to be included. When I asked the second day, I was told we needed to get a coupon and then go across the street. We did, but that place was a little unhappy with coupons, and although coffee was included, a spot of milk for coffee was not and required additional small payment. That said, the breakfast was pretty good, served in a pretty garden. The hotel turns off hot water during the day, but you can ask them to turn it on if you find that the water is cold in the shower; they might run out of hot water when the hotel is full - but still lukewarm so fine for a shower. They provide filtered water in the room which is quite safe. Because toilet paper needs to go in the trash rather than in the toilet, it would be really nice if the hotel had a cover on the trash in the bathroom, particularly in our bathroom which was tiny - the trash is right in front of you. We had a wonderful time in Antigua and the hotel worked well for us. Hotel organized transport from the airport which was great.

Loved staying here. Coffee was great, breakfast was filling, and the food from the restaurant was tasty. location is convenient for walking. Beds were comfy! We appreciated the filtered water in our room and the ventilation in the bathroom. We had a view of a volcano out of our window!

We recently stayed at this charming hotel and loved it. Room 206 had a beautiful view, and the cozy garden area was perfect for relaxing. The location is incredibly walkable and convenient for exploring the area. The staff was outstanding—friendly and very helpful. They even prepared fresh sandwiches for our overnight hike, just as we requested the night before. Highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and pleasant stay.
