Great location! Time square and central park were no more than a 10 minute walk. Staff was helpful and friendly, room was ready upon our arrival even though we were there before check in time. Room was clean but small which is fairly normal in my NYC experiences. The Amenities were shared with the residents inn, the Breakfast/happy hour area and gym were both nice. I would definitely stay here again

The hotel was nice and clean and our room had a lovely view. The only issue that I had was with parking - we used the valet and if you go a little over the 24 hour period, it’s a full charge for whatever time you’re over. My car wasn’t able to be started at the garage so we also had to go get it. I was hoping the hotel would drop the extra charge as the car wasn’t returned to us and we instead went to get it but they did not. So basically, pay close attention to the parking situation should you choose valet. Otherwise, the hotel is in a good location and a good stay!

Location, location, location, that's what this hotel is great at. Hotel rooms are getting old, beds had obvious wear marks, window didn't close well, was taped up (still cold air coming through). Furniture was old and in general. They were remodeling the restaurant, but using the next door (inside) hotel restaurant worked well. Breakfast was OK. Anyway, the location is just great! And the view was as well, even at the 16th floor. Altough they are building a new RIU right across the street, so that might be gone in the future. Cleaning could have been better, coffee stains from previous guests stayed till the end of our stay. Also getting 3 sets of towels while we stayed with 4 people was annoying, even after specifically mentioning it.

Victor R. at the front desk was extremely helpful at checking in & during check out. The location was very good. Unfortunately the cleanliness of the room was a Huge Fail. Very dirty room. From having to cover the chair with a towel because it was covered in hand prints & dirt smuges to past guests hair in the shower floor & drain and water marks all over the shower door. Needless to say i did not use. I had a late check out arranged but ened up just waking up and wanting to leave. I decided to shower at my next location. Overall would not bother paying that price again to stay at a Marriott on my next trip in September 2024.

The room was dirty - there were stains on the bed sheets of both beds and the towels still had stains. One towel even had blood. Most of the power outlets didn't work which made charging devices and using the hairdryer a challenge

We rented 2 rooms and one bed in each room didn't even have a mattress cover on it. Told the desk multiple rimes about it and it took two days to get matress covers on. Mold on the outer shower curtain. Water pressure in the shower was abysmal. Not a good experience at all.

A good stay. Reception staff were friendly and polite. The room was beautifully serviced and cleaned during the week but it over the weekend the service was not as good. Sewage was a problem with drainage on the higher floor. The hotel did resolve the problem but did not check with us everything was okay nor did they offer any compensation or even an acknowledgement for of the mess the toilet caused in our room until I formally complained after checkout on the advice of the reception staff. Location was good and the hotel felt safe.

I stayed two nights in early March (this past weekend), my room was very recently renovated, bright, immaculate, bathroom spotless, shower was perfect, floor perfectly clean, the square shape of the room made it feel spacious. Great staff, great service. I will stay there again!!

Room was pretty good. One of the best we experienced while in NYC. There is no place to set a suitcase except on the floor which I really dislike. Only one chair for sitting. We are elderly so that is important. The view was spectacular and the reading lamps on both sides of the bed were awesome.

The corner room had fantastic views and was very spacious for a week stay. The staff was helpful and very nice. They had baggage hold in the lobby if your room wasn’t ready or if you had a late flight. Overall had a great stay and looking forward to coming back again.

We arrived midnight at the hotel, Front desk took too much time 30 minutes to check in as he didn’t know how to assign room, then room was not clean and ready even at midnight. Then we need to come back to front desk again and they assigned us queen size , wrong room again. We need to go back and forth between rooms and front desk 3 times until we got our room. It took 1am in the morning that we finally got our room and then 5 am someone tried to get in our room as they assigned our room to someone else. It is terrible service

Front desk and check out was amazing. Friendly staff. The room we selected was non smoking but the room they gave us smelled like smoke and our lock to the door was not secured. We did call front desk, they stated someone would bring some air freshener…never arrived. The lock was never fixed.

Wife and I had a great stay here. Our only gripe was the room was a little small, despite the pictures shown on the listing. Service was great. My wife left some clothes behind and the service was amazing and we had them returned within a couple of days! Location is great for the theater, Central Park, shopping, Time Square. We had a wonderful dinner at Empire Steak House right next door!

This is super close to a lot of transit options, and a walkable distance to a lot of popular attractions. We watched a few Broadway shows, and like how it was just a short walk from most of the theaters. We also did a lot of transit via subway and bus, and the hotel was super close to a lot of stops and stations. It’s also far enough from time square where it doesn’t feel like it’s too crowded or busy so it was nice to be in a place that was a little quiet at night.

Very nice rooms and beds, good AC, very friendly and capable staff. The main difficulty and only complaint is the dining option is on the third floor and only one bank of elevators goes to it and that creates a bottleneck and slows everybody down. The one breakfast that we went towas pretty mediocre. Good coffee and good fruit. Options on the lighter side were done well, but as in most places, the scrambled eggs were dry and overcooked, and the sausage and bacon options were dicey. Perfect location for transportation options – lots of taxi and lift vehicles, all major subway lines easily available within a block and a half. Very close to Central Park and Columbus Circle.

Whatever else you do, take a hard pass on the breakfast buffet. Despite high customer traffic, the food was not fresh, seasoned poorly, uninspired - certainly not worth the $30. I learned my lesson, then pivoted to eating breakfast in shops nearby ‘on the street’ - e.g. bagel shops, Pret a Manger. Almost everything outside the hotel is better, fresher and better value.
