Staff members were wonderful, but the property is not up to standards of most Hampton Inns. Looked “worn” and not well maintained. Elevators need repair and ice machines on two floors were not working. Will not lodge there again until it improves.

Every day I was there, children who weren't guest of the hotel took over the pool. I told the front desk after they left ( couldn't find any one while they were in the pool) 😔

Parking was convenient...access to motel from highway also. Pool was not in service and looked like it had not been in quite some time. Breakfast was not comparable to other motel chain properties we usually frequent...we travel alot. This location was ideal to the music activities in the area during our stay.

Really good hotel but we were really disappointed the pool wasn’t working. This was one of the reasons we reserved and paid for this particular hotel. We didn’t get any discount for this. Otherwise, a very nice hotel.

Handicap bath rails falling off walls, pool closed in May, no luggage carts. Front desk personnel no help. Have stayed at other Hampton Inns, no issues. Clarksdale Hampton Inn very disappointing.

Rundown property in need of complete renovation. Dirty carpets, dirty chairs. No safe in room. No sanitiser in public areas. No soap in public toilets. No yogurt at breakfast, mediocre selection. Old and noisy air conditioning. Pool was covered, asked to use and was told it was only open ‘seasonal’. Given it was 12th September and 95 degree heat, it was a poor excuse! Sign saying renovations are underway but did not see any work going on! Only 1 elevator working also! Worst hotel we’ve stayed in on our road trip and glad it was only 1 night!

On the first night of my reservation, I woke up at 4:00 a.m. and there were ants in the bed, ants on me, ants biting me, ants in and on my phone on the bedside table. I immediately called the front desk and the lady told me that she could not do anything about it because she was doing paperwork. She said that she might be able to do something 30 minutes from then. At around 8:00 a.m. I was given another room.

My family and I stayed for a few days for a family reunion. The staff were really nice but the rugs in the hallway were filthy, the chairs in the dining area were filthy and the cleanliness around the pool area was not clean. The elevator had an out of order sign but when you press the button, that was the only one that would open. The hotel needs some updating.

Lots of stains in the room and all over the hotel. Sticky and smelly carpet in the room. The room smelled awful. The sheets were clean but the bed was hard as a brick and messed up my back. I booked through a 3rd party but made sure to tell management before i left my concerns and she acknowledged it and the went on to tell the 3rd party when I complained that she didn’t think I was making a complaint and offered 25.00 compensation for this egregious stay. Buffet was great. Staff was kind. Hotel itself unclean.

The floor in the bathroom had not even been swept. There was hair and even small rubber bands that looked like they were from braces or tiny braid under the bathroom vanity. Couch was well worn and torn. Probably has never been steamed cleaned. Staff was hiding in the back and he had to knock on the office door to get her to come out. The whole place was out of towels. We didn’t have any in the room and only got one set to share between us. Went the next morning to try and get more and we got four washcloths.

This property has bed bugs. I was bitten all over my body and when I told the front desk, the only thing they said was “I’ll let someone know and call you in a few days” When I returned home, there were bed bugs in my luggage. I’m and highly disappointed at how this issue was handled.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. However, computer problems caused them to be unable to issue a room key at check in, keys were issued later. The room was ok. Television operation left a lot to be desired. The complimentary breakfast was just so so; but, it was something to eat. I’m not sure I would select this place to stay in the future. I would like to stress that the staff was great.

Staff were very friendly. Hotel felt run down compared to other Hamptons I've stayed at. Shower pressure was too light and water did not get warm enough. A/C was old fashioned window unit with loud fan.

Room didn’t but have shower curtain and only less than half roll of toilet tissue. refrigerator didn’t. Moved to second room and microwave didn’t work. For 170 plus dollars I need everything to work. I stay here often but this was worst. I am pissed!!

Great stay overall. Would definitely stay here again if in the area. The only thing was the water didn’t stay just super hot and the water pressure in the shower wasn’t good. Outside of that, everything else was wonderful!

The staff was warm and friendly at this hotel. We also enjoyed the breakfast options because who can resist fresh waffles! The only downside for breakfast was the coffee wasn’t hot. The room was clean so we had good sleep there. I believe the hotel is undergoing renovations because the rooms were definitely older with fraying carpet and yellow lamp lights. I think once the renovations are done the rooms will match the level of the staff! We enjoyed our stay here and would gladly return to this hotel on a future stay in Clarksdale!

The room was clean so we had good sleep there. I believe the hotel is undergoing renovations because the rooms were definitely older with fraying carpet and yellow lamp lights. I think once the renovations are done the rooms will match the level of the staff! We enjoyed our stay here and would gladly return to this hotel on a future stay in Clarksdale!

Great hotel and the staff was the epitome of excellence. Tiger the check in lady very good personality and helpful. The young lady Nicole what a joy kept the breakfast area fully available and great conversation. Tommy thanks for the punctuality of accommodating the request in a timely manner. Kurtencia thanks for a easy check out. Overall GREAT STAFF/nice hotel. I would stay again.

The staff was amazing! Very helpful! My kids and I enjoyed our stay. The room was very clean. The ac wasn’t quite cold but they had a fan downstairs and it helped me sleep. I’d definitely stay again.

Close to downtown. Front desk person Thursday night was super helpful, friendly. Breakfast on Saturday was disappointing. We went down at 9am, breakfast is until 10, and they were out of everything. No coffee, eggs, sausage, potatoes, bagels, muffins, english muffins, and waffle mix. Everytime the women working there would come in or out from the back room she would very loudly sigh, like we were forcing her to do something she shouldn't have to do. After 15 minutes we finally got coffee, sausage and potatoes. We made do with that. I always stay at hotels with breakfast and i have never seen one as unprepared and unorganized as this one.

Breakfast offered. Refrigerator in dining area empty. No milk cartons or yogurt. Waffle batter spilled on counter and down the container. Hard boiled eggs in cool water. Microwave beyond dirty. No coffee cups. Two apples in a basket for fruit. Garbage can tops dirty. No orange juice and cold eggs and sausage. Biscuit was good! Mini scones 4 left. Not refilled.
