front is DARK, 4 beauty lights over where you check in, desk persons cannot see their work, you cannot see them. just stupid and not professional!! Have to ask for receipt after paying for stay, NO BUSINESS CENTER, underinflated balance ball in gym, broken treadmill. chambermaid first day (Maria) was amazing, the last 3 days, no new cups, coffee or sugar for in room station. No one speaks English, I live in FL, this is crazy!!. Dirty glasses left in room, i had to buss my own dishes, bathroom floor had something i dropped, and didn't pick up, NEVER was picked up by housekeeping. MY SAFETY DOOR LATCH DIDN'T FREAKING WORK, DIDN'T THROW ALL THE WAY, so really i was not "safe". Staff in dining room, never checked after ordering food (not from buffet). I work in hospitality. This place needs retraining, and PANHANDLERS AT FRONT DOOR AT NIGHT, NO BUENO.

Hotel internet kept going out every few minutes and had to be re-established on my phone and computer. The room smelled of cleaning fluid and the windows cannot be opened. The bar closes promptly at 11 pm and no food is available after 10 pm. The hotel is ordinary and doesn't have the liveliness of the Ace Hotel down the street.

Great customer service. Staff are friendly and willing to help promotly. Location is close to subway stations , restaurants, cafes. There is a parking lot right across the street that you can pay to park there. You can also park right in front of the hotel entrance to unload your suitcases.

Valet is a joke. There is no one to take your car. You have to double park your car and then throw your keys to the front desk. Our room was old and smelled like smoke. For the price we paid I excepted way more.

The room was clean however it was small w an equally small bathroom. This was surprising given that we paid for a double room. The AC worked fine. The bar was disappointing in that it doesn't follow stated hours unless people are present.

The staff and service was exceptional, as was our on site dining experience. Our room was a bit smaller than expected for the price, but very clean and cozy. Parking, as anywhere in or around NYC was a little inconvenient, although a valet service was available for an extra $60. We still spent $35 for an overnight lot which was affiliated with the hotel, but ended up walking almost 1/4 mile back to the hotel, and waited around 20 minutes for the attendants to retrieve our vehicle the next day. I imagine this is very common for the city, but some type of advance notice when booking would have been much appreciated. Plan ahead!

The hotel was super clean, staff was great and location was convenient. There is a $25 urban tax that is charged everyday of your stay, but we just used it for breakfast each morning.

The hotel breakfast was ample and fresh, the bar was convenient and had good service, my room was spacious and clean, and the housekeeping staff was efficient and cleaned the rooms early. The location was good and it was quiet up on 4th floor with good blackout curtains.

I wanted to use the gym there. Nobody every said it was under construction. the lady at desk was overwhelmed but nice. they sent me to blink, about a 10 min walk away. Blink didn't know what I was talking about.

Let me start with the positives: The room was wonderful with two beds and a clean bathroom. The location is perfect and my kids and I walked all over Brooklyn conveniently from the hotel. We had a small issue with our air conditioning that was fixed quickly! The not so good: our room became extraordinarily dusty during our stay and housekeeping did not vacuum once - it was not a good site to return to in the evenings. Only a few staff members acknowledged us. It was strange walking into a hotel and the staff at the front desk looked at their computers and not up to give a greeting. That was a weird first for me and I didn’t like it. I would stay here again despite my concerns.

Everything was great. Location, spacious attractive rooms, cleanliness, friendly helpful staff. We appreciated our time at the Brooklyn Hilton very much. We were embarking on the QE 2 and the proximity to the Cunard Cruise Line dock was a real plus. A big A+.

This is the last time I bother with a Hilton. Theyre usually basic but this is a new low. I had the displeasure of staying there more than one night. They don’t provide water in the room if you stay more than one night (which I wasn’t told on check in). I rely on taking medication first thing in the morning I asked room service if they can send some water even if they charge it to my room he said no and then put the phone down on me. As I was getting sick because I was not hydrated & had skipped some medication as there wasn’t any water I put the privacy notice on my door to recover. These awful people hazed me with all types of doorbells/noises while I was sick and had a privacy notice. Awful service! Especially after they had put the phone down on me now all of a sudden they want to talk! Absolutely ridiculous. The room was below basic and uninspiring, brown/dark carpet but no slippers to protect feet, it could have been a college dorm room. Honestly if it wasn’t prepaid & I wasn’t sick I would have left. At the end when I saw my bill they had added these $35 a day charges which are nowhere in my hotels.com confirmation! They have a stupid “credit” system which they explained poorly, but I will most certainly be challenging. For them to not even be able to serve water?! But if it was wine they would have been able to serve it! So embarassing on their part. They didn’t even ask me how my stay was at the end probably because they are tired of getting complaints. Avoid!

The staff at the hotel is great, totally friendly and their assistance was appreciated. I found my room to be really clean, the bed was comfy and I found a self-park garage within a block of the hotel - so it was truly a convenient place to get to as well.

This hotel is in a prime location. We loved how spacious the rooms were. Cleanliness of the rooms were okay. Breakfast buffet was also okay, and we liked that the hotel gave us water daily. What we did not like was the front desk customer service. Day time was amazing, however, late night, the employees were rude, or not present (at desk). The self parking was also not worth it. Valet would’ve been a better option for us, as we planned to go in and out. Overall we would stay again, primarily because of the location

Visiting New York with the kids. Very close to the subway. About 20 - 25 minutes from Time Square and even less for other popular attractions/ districts to visit. The breakfast is good and offers variety. No parking on site but one that is very close. Very nice staff!

Great location near to several subway lines, it was very easy to travel into Manhattan & explore Brooklyn. Walking distance to Brooklyn Heights Promenade & Dumbo area. Hotel has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

excellent breakfast buffet at reasonable hours....George at front desk most helpful with dining spots, and general info. The location is in the heart of everything worth doing and safe to walk at night with plenty of restaurants & people. Shower was refreshing, powerful, the renovation of an old factory certainly impressive.

From the pictures online, it’s more outdated than expected. The location was in a nice area of Brooklyn. The beds were reasonably soft. Breakfast was not included, so you had the option to add on which was expensive or sit down which service was very slow.
