Amazing stay! The infinity pool was fantastic and the views from the Bayside view were spectacular especially the sunset! The onsite restaurant was decent but a bit pricing. Otherwise we will be staying again when in Erie!

Hotel is directly on Lake Erie. The infinity pool is beautiful and heated. The outdoor seating and fire pits are great. You are connected to the Bayfront Convention Center by a walk way. Nice vibe in the lobby.

The pools were smaller then expected Which made it hard for swimming lots of crazy kids in there the first night :( scared us away!! But better the second night!! The parking was a pain in the butt to fare away!! No continental breakfast

Cafe /Coffee Bistro needs to be opened to late afternoon. Infinity Pool lighting is way to bright at night, Elevator was closed, too long of a walk to rooms.

I liked the location. I did not like the attempt to be charged twice for garage parking and then finding out that there was lot parking available for free as well as the garage gates were open and anyone could enter. I also chose this property for the pool and hot tub. However the hot tub was out of service. Other than that the room and hotel was clean comfortable and nice

It’s a nice hotel in a pretty location. However I do not feel that it is a good value for the money. I don’t like that the parking garage is not connected to the hotel. I don’t like the noise level at night. I don’t like that the pool was small and was overrun by loud kids. I don’t like all the slamming doors in the hallway early in the morning. And it was inconvenient that the elevators across from my room were out of service. The breakfast was good.

We loved our stay. The food and drinks were delicious. The setting is beautiful, and loved the infinity pool. My only complaint is the size of the pools. They looked way bigger in pictures than in person. But the outdoor pool temperature was perfect.

The property was beautifully positioned on the waterfront with great views of the bay. The indoor pool area was dirty at 10 am with only a couple towels left from the night before. My 3 year old son stepped on a shard of a broken wine glass that was left in the pool area and had blood on the floor. several staff member walked through saw the blood on the floor and never offered any assistance or assisted in cleaning up the area. Overall, I don't think I will return to this property. I believe that the Sheraton next door is a nicer property.

We found bed bug in first room they gave us. Gave us a second room and there was a blood stain on sheets the sink was clogged and there was powder on the desk top. For a Marriott I expected way better. Staff was nice at the desk and it was a beautiful location w the lake

The hotel is nice. Parking is weird and a schlep to the hotel. Had to walk over large stones from the surface lot and over a curb which is hard with luggage. Staff very friendly. The restaurant/bar is excellent. My room left some to be desired. The mattress had seen better days and was lumpy and sinking. A towel had yellow stains on it. The bay views from the room were great.

The room was pretty small and the windows were covered with spider webs and dead bugs to the poing where it was hard to see through. I payed extra to have a room with a bay view and it was not worth it. I would not recommend this room.

Horrible! Room bathroom was not cleaned well, beds are uncomfortable. You have to pay $14 a day to park in their garage. Rooms are underwhelming. Staff was nice overall. I wouldn’t recommend and we will not go again. Our bay front view was nice but the dirt and cobwebs on the windows ruined what could’ve been an amazing view

The property has become quite tired. Overall cleanliness and room maintenance has deteriorated since our last stay. Our room had dry dog food stuck in the carpet, the windows were filthy and a cupboard door hanging off the hinge. Dog excrement in the corridor was disgusting. Given the cost to stay at this waterfront property we expected a much better experience. Disappointing stay.

I reserved a bayfront view room and that’s what I got however the windows were filthy. They were full of bugs dirt cobwebs it was disguisting. The carpet wasn’t vaccines because I got a tiny piece of glass stuck in my foot and I had no glass in my room at all.

The location of the hotel was perfect. It was a holiday weekend, but the cleaning in the common areas wasn't great. Trash cans were over flowing and debris on the floor. The rooms were clean and nice.

We stayed for two nights over the July 4 holiday- July 3 and 4. Positives were the convenient access to the big fireworks display, parking options (garage or big surface lot), and friendly front desk staff, even with a check-in delay at 5 pm on arrival day. (We were able to check in within about 30 minutes). The small outdoor infinity pool was a fun spot for our kids, but not well maintained in terms of trash, same with indoor pool, which also seems hazardous for walking with no evidence of floors getting squeegeed/wiped down with huge puddles of water. Pool restroom was in terrible condition. Restaurant was ok, but reflected our impression of the overall hotel, which was a beautiful location but less value for the money than we hoped. Our standard room was fine, with a great view. We received fresh towels but no overall housekeeping. We might stay again for the nice location and view, but probably not for holiday weekend rates.

The room was 205, a beautiful view of the bay, when I checked in it was everything I expected till later on in the evening. My room was next to the entrance door to the main hall that the 200 rooms are on. The door was a constant source of aggravation due to it slamming shut the esclators were in that little hallway next to the door. Then there were the ac units right outside of my window that made the noise of a tractor and trailer all day and night. I wasn't feeling the best to begin with but this situation made my situation even worse. I went to use my military discount at checkout and was told that I couldn't because the hotel was to utilized and that I used a booking agency rather than call you direct Surely you can do better than this, you are a Marriot. I'm aware that there are cost involvd in running a Marriott, but you don't have to drain my pockets in the process. This one hurt !!!!!!!!!!

Lovely bay front setting with nice bar and bistro and lovely walkable waterfront path. Suite with a view was lovely. I would stay again. Sunset from the room window was beautiful.

Great view and location. Pools were beautiful. Did not like the WiFi situation with having to sign up. The hotel was not inexpensive. Include WiFi. Also, I am not leaving a tip as insinuated when no one comes in during the day to clean. Pillows were comfy but beds were terrible.

Room was cozy and warm, the TV and lights were on when I arrived. Temperature was great, and with the bayside window that I was able to open, I could hear the waves all night. Loved it as a last minute little get away from my adult children when I just needed a "me" night. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel overbooks rooms in the hope that people don't arrive. They then send them to a hotel more than 10 minutes away and make them get an uber to get there. The hotel they send people to is not at all the same level of hotel as the one booked. They are completely unapologetic about this practice and said they oversold the hotel that night by at least six rooms and this happens all the time. I would not recommend booking this hotel unless you are okay being told when you get there that you have to take an uber to another hotel 10 minutes away.

I am not the type to leave reviews but after mine and my family’s experience this Saturday i just had to share this. Over all the hotel is beautiful, booked it because of its location and infinity pool. We decided we wanted to have drinks at the restaurant in the hotel Saturday night with my family. It was 6 of us. We were seated outside by the receptionist of the restaurant at 10pm. But we were never greeted or offered any sort of beverages by our waitress. We saw her serve other tables near us but never ones did she come to us or even acknowledged the fact that we were sitting there waiting for her. One of us went inside to ask the receptionist how long before our waitress would come to help us since it had been 30 minutes already . We were told she is busy and will be with us shortly. Then 20 minutes pass by and still no one even offered us water. We understand every restaurant industry has employees shortages but this was just unacceptable specially when everyone else was being served but us. We will never be returning to this hotel again.

I recvd an email that day of my stay advising i had been moved due to overbooking. I read it shorlty before i began my drive. I had been moved to the neighnoring Sheraton hotel. I didnt have any choice this late in to the trip. My family was all at the Courtyard where i booked. I was at the Sheraton which is where i was unilaterally moved to via email. Ive stayed at the Sheraton before and quite frankly do not wish to return there. Food quality is poor a d the service even poorer. I waited 90 minutes for my dinner which was not at all done as requested. Short story. If i wanted the Sheraton i would have booked it. I wanted the Courtyard. Seems as thougg they didnt even inform Expedia they bumped me since ive rexcd several requests for a review of the Courtyard.

Housekeeping refused to clean my room even when asked and I stayed there for 5 nights. My trash was overflowing and when I asked for them to pick it up, the front desk staff told me that they are understaffed and that I need to bring the trash outside. Terrible experience, especially for the amount of money they charged for the room.

I'm a frequent traveler and hard to impress. I do not think there is better lodging in all of Erie than a Bayside view at this facility. It is connected to the convention center, has a pleasant bayside walkway, a couple eateries. Walkable to the maritime museum. Nicely appointed rooms and boutique style bathrooms. There is a more expensive hotel chain next door, but I dont see any advantage.

Poor communication, had to visit reception 3 times before I got out included breakfast vouchers, restaurant staff were poor, went to have a meal, host came to us after a few minutes, but when we asked to be seated outside was told she could not do that and we needed to wait for an outside host to see us….host did not go and tell the outside hosts we were waiting so waited for about 10 mins until host we had seen came back, and she said oh has no one seen you yet?, she then went and got an outside host…who then advised it would be over 40 mins for an outside table but could be seating inside, immediately? Which made no sense as it was not that busy, so we left and went to another nearby restaurant.

A wonderful experience, that deserves a thank you and a great review. The Shoreline staff was incredible. Owen especially made the evening special for everyone. The restaurant/bar manager, Chris, was a contributing member of the team. The supportive leadership really shows. An overall pleasurable stay in a great location and views. Room was clean and comfortable.

If you like staying right on the water, this is the place for you. Lovely hotel, comfortable rooms and outdoor seating and fire tables. We were lucky enough to get a room with a balcony which made our stay even more enjoyable! The bar was nice, but had a very limited menu. I can’t say that I would recommend having lunch/dinner here, unless you prefer to stay at the hotel only. But, nevertheless, I would definitely stay here again.

I truly enjoyed the Shoreline restaurant for dinner. Amazing food and drinks and great service! The view was beautiful at sunset. The Bistro for breakfast has a Starbucks so that was wonderful. However, the avocado toast was $11 and very bland. There are only two elevators which was not enough considering the volume of foot traffic. The parking is next to the hotel however you have to get a ticket at check in and then go back to your car to put on the dash. This is very inconvenient especially when parked in the garage and it is cold. My suggestion would be to issue something guests can print before arriving or registering license plates so you don't have to go back to your car. Overall the hotel was clean, spacious and the restaurant was great! Just a few suggestions to make it even better.
