Great cocktails at the hotel bar, and the vibe was just right

Convenient, easy parking, friendly staff.

The hotel was good. My friend also stayed here and we would grab food at the cafe and it was very good. Rooms shampoo was very good.

Very well done! Room was as expected and parking on site was a plus. The restaurant connected is very good!

The property itself is unique, parking was fairly easy too when you valet. The staff is super friendly and the rooms are decent.

I was disappointed with having to pay $34 per night for parking which I was told AFTER I paid for my room, but it's pretty crowded down here. Hotel has a really cool old school vibe with a pretty awesome bar and restaurant on the first level. Pillows were 2 out of 10 lol. Otherwise really great stay, 8 out of 10 overall, I enjoyed myself for the most part. All staff were really awesome and accommodating. I would recommend getting a room on the back side due to traffic noise from 8th street, but the views might not be as good as the front.

Cool swanky rooms! Bar downstairs makes great food and cocktails. Walkable wrom the wiltern!

This place is interesting to say the least. They took an old bldg and added upgrades. Unfortunately the bathroom style (sliding glass barnyard doors) means you can see through them and the step in shower area is not separated from the sink/toilet well so water goes everywhere. That said, the beds are extremely comfy and the convenience of the wonderful restaurant downstairs is a plus! NOTE parking is a whopping $34 per day. I’ve stayed at Hilton’s that only charge $10-20 even when they could charge more. I highly suggest they stop overcharging for parking or at least give an alternative such as free parking if you dine at their restaurant. My humble opinion.

I guess I didn't do my homework on the hotel well enough as I was surprised to find there was no mini fridge, ice bucket or self service ice machine. That's okay, I thought to myself, my partner and I could drink the champagne we brought for our special occasion right away. No harm no foul. We can survive without a fridge or ice. We drank our champagne and turned on the tv. It was alarming to find that when we turned on the tv, there was a line going down the screen, indicating some sort of damage. It's alarming because I had just given $150 deposit on the room. I immediately called the front desk to let them know of the damage. As we lay there trying to watch the broken tv, I noticed cobwebs/spiderwebs in the corner of the room below the ceiling and above the window. Initially I thought this was funny, like it's a very rustic hotel, and I kind of laughed it off. As the night progressed and my partner and I had gotten up from the bed several times I noticed the bed was not flush with the wall anymore. As I moved to correct this, I noticed something wedged between the wall and the bed. As I leaned closer, I was completely horrified to find a pair of old, dusty, used ladies undergarments. Gross! Unacceptable even. This was the tipping point. We had planned on ordering in/enjoying ourselves in room but we found ourselves very, turned off the entire experience. Reached out to hotel support, never heard back. I would write more, only allowed 1500 words Stay at own risk

Staff was very friendly and helpful. However the room itself did not seem very clean. It was oddly incredibly cramped and small and yet didn’t feel cozy. The hotel itself is nice but could use some more cleanliness. Tv did not work.

I really wasn’t expecting to check out in the middle of the night but the hotel was noisy and we could hear drunk people outside out room just having a conversation in the middle of the night.

It was very noisy. I had a room right beside the elevator. The walls just seem really thin. I could hear people talking above me, heavy footsteps woke me up, baby crying..just not a great experience,

The hotel staff is great and the lobby is amazing. Fresh water and coffee is always available, and there are plenty of places to sit an relax while you wait for a table at the restaurant or wait for your ride. It's also close enough to main roads and bus terminals that it's easy to get to Hollywood or downtown. But the rooms themselves leave something to be desired. Our room was on the 3rd floor. It was a 2-bed room. Walking in, the first thing we noticed was the size. It's extremely small, with very little room to move around and certainly no room to lay out your bags. Next, we tried to close the window, but it wouldn't close all the way. Part of the track was sticking, so only the top half of the window was able to be latched. Finally, in the bathroom, the shower is a small open stall, so water gets absolutely everywhere. Regarding the comfort levels of the room - the beds are nice, but the noise is ridiculous. We were kept up all night by our upstairs neighbor who was dropping things on their floor from midnight to at least 3am. I called the front desk and they said they would call the room. It stopped for about 20 minutes. I have no idea what they could have been doing but it was unbearable. The floors are hardwood with no subflooring so you hear every. single. thing. If you are a light sleeper, then skip this hotel.

Loud neighbors heard throughout the night. A small coffee machine or a few more amenities would’ve been nice, but very nice shower, bathroom and comfy bed. Walking distance to all K Town has to offer.

Solid stay, if you'd like to experience more of the local side of LA. Pros: Friendly staff, great walkable location nearby cafes and restaurants Cons: The walls are paper thin and in need of soundproofing

Cute place but aesthetics don't make up for noise and lack of functionality. Noise from room upstairs and the hallway (all normal noises for people moving around in a hotel) were very disturbing to sleep. Much more than most decent hotels. King room for 2 people but literally only 1 mirror in the whole room and it was basically in the shower. Which, an open shower may look fun but absolutely have to be careful where you put your belongings on the counter, and your partner cannot use the sink or mirror at the same time unless they want to get all wet.

We were excited to stay at this hotel, but it is extremely small with hardly any room for any of your personal belongings. The restroom is basically part of the bedroom area since the door is a sliding translucent door right next to the toilet, which means that your silhouette is very noticeable to the people sitting on the bed next to the toilet. Needless to say, this room was not comfortable and if you came with anyone other than your immediate family, you would probably not use the bathroom since they get to see your whole action of sitting on the toilet, waiting for be done and then wiping your butt!! Also, the sliding door doesn't shut too well, with some big gaps, which means there is no privacy while you are in the toilet. The shower, there is only a semi wall between the toilet and the shower, with a sink in front of both. Needless to say, when you showered the whole bathroom floor got completely wet because there is no higher leveled floor so that the water from the shower doesn't flow to the toilet area or the sink area. It seemed like a cool concept to put the shower just there without anything to keep the water in just the shower area, but in reality, everything got wet, which means that the floor became slippery for anyone to walk in to wash their hands or use the toilet. Definitely not a comfortable stay, especially with two kids who had no room to walk around!!!

Staff was pleasant during my one night stay. Room was clean enough. The walls were VERY thin so noise from the neighbours and the street noise made for a not so restful stay. Not the greatest neighbourhood at night. Would not rebook.

Bring your ear plugs. Street noise was loud. You can hear the guests above you as well late at night. Found it very difficult to sleep.

$200/night does NOT get you coffee in the morning, a mini fridge in your room, or thick walls so you’re not hearing conversations from neighboring rooms. Surprised, but wouldn’t stay here again for that price.

The room was modern and comfortable. Service was impeccable. We felt very safe thanks to the two gentlemen working reception when we arrived late in the night. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!

I checked in late, decided to go get food and was gone maybe 20/30 minutes and when I came back my bag was in the hallway. Come to find out they gave a couple my room and was “sorry” that happened, my bags were ransacked and staff did nothing to help recover anything. I had to bang on the door of the couple at 1am to then slowly recount and recover everything that was in the room. I barely slept that night because I was worried that someone else would just walk into the room while I was sleep.

Rodrigo at the front desk gave us such a pleasant welcoming! He is wonderful! Such a fun personality and very helpful.

The staff here across the board were wonderful! From the front desk to the housekeeping department I can't say enough kind words for them on how they take care of the people staying there.

When I went to checkout, they said he made a mistake and there was nothing they’d do about it. They gave me the run around and were very rude about it.

All the employees at the front desk were very helpful and cheerful. Great attitude!!! Thank you!

Convenient and great staff

Hotel was very clean, every staff member we encountered were wonderful and friendly. Would definitely stay there again.

No AC. Hotel was dirty. People loitering. An unsupervised child in the small dirty lobby. Grease stains on the floor. Hotel clerk was nice, but area was super sketchy, we didn’t even stay on the property.

It was a good location. Close by the Philippine consulate and Korean Town.

Perfectly located near some great shops and restaurants.

Hotel was beautiful, room was very clean, my biggest issue was the noise from the room upstairs, kept hearing loud stomping throughout the night. Also, the area felt unsafe, went walking to the store and did not feel safe.

I was suprised at how central this hotel's location is. We didn't feel far away from anywhere in LA.

Location was 10 minutes away from downtown los angeles. This was a huge plus, there was lots of transportation nearby. Hotel was very good.

It's the second time we stay here, is a good place to sleep and spend the night comfortably. The building is a little old, but has a charm. The area is getting a little unsafe, but it's not the hotel's fault.

It’s doesn’t work for the money I pay,the restaurant open to late and close to early and the person was so rude and he told me the restaurant was close at 3:30 pm I can’t use my $20 credit per day that mean I lost my $40 credit,the area is good

I enjoyed the bar/restaurant that was in the first floor area of the hotel with offerings from a very delicious breakfast menu to a craft dinner menu.
