It was close to a gas station and some fast food places. The only issues was the gap all around the door and you could hear the train and highway. It's a okay place if you need to stop for one night.

This was a last minute stay in Houston for my last night. It was located somewhere different than I actually had thoughts on the map but was worth a 20 minute drive away. It was clean. Staff was readily there to assist easy parking unit just as I requested very, very clean and upgraded, I will be returning anytime. I’m in Houston. It was very satisfying to stay in a clean place for the night. The only thing was the bed I was sleeping in I believe the platform the mattress was on was loose otherwise very good stay.

The manager, Vic, is the type I would have as a friend if circumstances were different & I didn't meet him as a customer. This hotel seems to have things together. I know other hotels of very equivalent prices without even a washer & dryer. I happy to have this hotel as a go-back-to place to enjoy peace & accommodation.

Anti Covid-19 decor. Simple, hard, EZ to clean surfaces. I saw no bugs during stay. Harsh overhead LED lights, no desk or bedside lights. Motel style building with unsealed door lets nearby highway tire noise in. No better or worse than a noisy room AC unit or Fridge going all night. 'Breakfast' is meager at best. Get the breakfast tacos at the Mexi place a block up the street. Good place to stay if on a budget.

The stay was pleasent. Very close to several restaurants. And just off of 290, the staff was quick to take care of any issues. I have stated here severaltines before. The parking lot as well as the property was well maintained and no trash. The rooms were clean and unpleasant orders. I would recommend this property to anyine staying in the area.

Don’t except an excellent, very good, or even a good hotel. It’s just OK for one night, not more. When I checked in and after I swiped my credit card, they refused to give me a receipt. Then I went into the room and found out that the bed sheet was not clean. It had multiple stains and hair on it. The bed cover had holes in it. The floor, the microwave, the fridge were all dirty. There was no hanger in the room. When I called them, they came and replaced the bed sheet, but no apologies for dirty bed sheet. I felt that they had left the bed sheet to see if the next customer complains or not. If they do, they come and change it. Breakfast had very limited options. At the time of check out, I said that the room was dirty and that was the first time someone apologized. All in all, it might be OK for one night but definitely check the bed sheet before going to bed.

The grab and go breakfast was a small orange juice, granola bar, store bought muffins and coffee. The bedroom was large and a big bed without blankets. The issue I had was the water, the water pressure was always low and limited basic toiletries. The was cleaned each day.

We checked in and went to the rooms and we're greeted by smoked in rooms with no AC. We told the man at the desk he immediately apologized and tried to find another room. The WHOLE FLOORs AC units were OFF. It it wasn't recent. They were off for a very long time. He offered a refund we left and went to another hotel. He called us and told us not to cancel with Expedia or we won't get a refund. We were 3 rooms for over $1000. While he was telling us to not cancel, he was already planning to refuse the refund from Expedia. That's why he made sure we didn't cancel. Scam, fraud, beware. Expedia tried and then gave up. Next friend came a day later and the AC was still off. THEYRE DOING THIS ON PURPOSE! NO GUESTS AND THEY STILL COLLECT!

Its very close to a couple of stores where you can shop around. The room is big, clean and the beds are comfortable. There are two desks for working and the tv is pretty cool too. Very good value for the price

The owner of the hotel was very kind and accomodating! Online, it said they served breakfast, but when I got there, I was told they didn't. That was a little disappointing, but the owner saw that I was disappointed and went out of his way to go get the little packages of donuts and pastries for me the next morning!! Super thoughtful! Room was pretty clean and comfy! Definitely recommend staying there!

The property is in an excellent location and very accessible to many ventures..I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the front desk personell Victor for once again being sympathetic to adverse actions that occurred and the willingness to work with me on my resolution..it made everything more comfortable for me and put my mind at ease..always a clean room for the last few days and the quiet and comfort were a God send..I would recommend this place to everyone.

The night manager was rude. She had such a thick accent that made it very hard to understand her questions. When stated "i don\'t understand you and your question ", she would ask the same question faster and in a louder voice. They also did not have any hand towels to use. At least I had a wash cloth and a bath towel. The year before when I stayed at this same hotel, it was a much better experience.

I love this property Vick is amazing and always so pleasant to do business with… I wouldn’t want to book a room anywhere else !!! They have an amazing location next to a really cool food truck lot so if your wver hungry you just walk on over and eat ! Vick always makes the best accommodations for me when I book a stay. Your missing out if you haven’t booked a stay here yet

Very clean room.. but the staff was very rude, was woken up to checkout when we booked for 2 days.. sheets and towels were not replaced for 2nd night so we requested and clerk was very rude in giving clean sheets and towels.. no iron in room, requested to borrow an iron and it took over an hour to get one.

Location ..able to walk to anyplace I have desired,from grocery stores to shopping strips to parks and library. The place is kept clean,the room as well as the grounds. It's quiet and being a female,a safe and secure feeling to stay . Front desk Vic is always with a smile and accommodating anytime a request is asked of him. Will definitely come back for a stay

I didn’t Expect much at first, when I got inside my room it smelled super clean. It looks very clean and comfortable. Walls , floor , bed, furnitures all in great condition/ no stains or rips or anything broken. I’m highly impressed by this location . Outside it clean , no trash or vandalism. No loud neighbors or cars. The location is super great next to the 290 freeway and a lot of shopping near by. It’s kid friendly. My son loved it he said he felt safe here. I booked again for 4 days because for the price and quality you can’t beat it . Bonus: Front desk is a super nice guy. You do get free breakfast. Includes drinks coffee and milk etc ..

This location is very centrally located for the type of errands I needed to make during my time at Palace Inn. I also loved the cleanliness that you don’t find at most motels. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. I stayed for about a month and it was relatively quiet. No sketchy people hanging around which was a plus for someone who is a single woman. The front desk manager was very accommodating also regarding all of my needs. A very nice and pleasant stay overall. I will return in the future.

It was close to a gas station and some fast food places. The only issues was the gap all around the door and you could hear the train and highway. It's a okay place if you need to stop for one night.

There are a lot of options for eating to include a food truck park next door. It was super convenient that there is a gas station next door as well with 24/7 access. The rooms were clean and the staff was very helpful. If we ever come back to Houston, we will stay at this property. No doubt about it.

The hotel was clean and the room looked pretty new. Not sure if hotel is newer or if it was a remodel, but we were pleased. It was a great, inexpensive, night away together. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Would recommend for an inexpensive night away or a stop through on a business trip. Oh, and the area around the hotel is nice, which helps make you feel more secure about your vehicle and personal safety.

All was good, only stayed for one night, breakfast is nothing more than a coffee and a piece of fruit but I wasn't there for the breakfast, 6 digit WiFi number they gave me didn't work, so as it was basic I tried another two digits and it worked.

The owner of the hotel was very kind and accomodating! Online, it said they served breakfast, but when I got there, I was told they didn't. That was a little disappointing, but the owner saw that I was disappointed and went out of his way to go get the little packages of donuts and pastries for me the next morning!! Super thoughtful! Room was pretty clean and comfy! Definitely recommend staying there!

The grab and go breakfast was a small orange juice, granola bar, store bought muffins and coffee. The bedroom was large and a big bed without blankets. The issue I had was the water, the water pressure was always low and limited basic toiletries. The was cleaned each day.

Very clean and well taken care of. Towels could use a better cleaning. Most had mysterious stains. Breakfast was only packaged muffins and hunny buns. Need better breakfast items.

My second time stayig at this property, nice rooms, there is the occasional train noise but not too bad, Taco truck area next door, Breakfast is very limited but I have never gotten up early enough to use it, only issue I had this time was that the TV worked but had connection isses so unable to view anything.

Found this place last minute for my nephews graduation n was better than expected. Clean, management was attentive to requests, plenty of options on places to eat as well. I'd stay here again.
