WeStay Suites Belle Chasse

The elevator was broken and they supposedly said they did not charge me taxes for my stay at the beginning so they charged me after I left for an additional 65 dollars. When I called and asked no one knew why and they said they would call me back and they never did I had to physically go up there and see why. No apologies from management or nothing for just charging my card without authorization because they messed up not me. I figured I would get a discount for no elevator and being out on the 3rd floor not an additional charge. Will not be going back.

Hotel was generally okay however pictures make it look better than it is. Older than appears and rusting on doors and appliances in our room.

The property is 45 mins away from Louisiana. It’s in the country. Would find something closer to the city or you’ll be in traffic every day. The hotel is very low budget. You’re getting what you pay for. Stains everywhere on the wall and bathroom. Carpet stains and elevator very loud. You can’t get extra towels without turning in the used one. No room service came to clean. No breakfast. Only vending machine snacks and drinks. Hotel staff never at desk. Anyone can walk in. Smells weird in the hotel rooms and hallways. This is a hotel you stay at if you are last minute needing somewhere to lay. This hotel is a motel with a nice outside display.

The staff was excellent . The parking lot was not clean . The property lacked basic amenities , like a coffee potin the room ,, there was a coffee pot lobby , but coffee was not available 24/7. There was no breakfast not even a granola bar to go . There was only one bath towel in the room . The coke machines were empty.

Room was nice, but like most in this price range (unfortunately), maintenance leaves something to be desired: Toilet not secured well; upholstery stained; some room lights did not function; bedding was marginal (poor pillows!). On the plus side, guest laundry was handy and convenient.

It was great! Kid friendly and staff are so nice and they are so friendly. Everyone is so nice. Pool is great. Breakfast on point. Just wish it was until 10. Overall love staying here. Locals safe and nothing to worry about at parking.

No elevator and never any room service

Well I tell you this the most friendliest place you would ever want to stay. The staff always nice and friendly keeps a smile on their face and if you reach them by phone their attitude is still the same it’s always clean and fresh and coffee is always available. I love staying here it’s convenient to my job is like 8 minutes away I would recommend this to this place cause it’s like walking into own home clean and peaceful. WESTAY SUITES YOU HAVE MY BUSINESS 😍😍😍

Room smelled like mildew and the beds went very comfortable. Loved that it was pet friendly

Bed and pillows were comfortable. Shower pressure was good. It was nice and quiet when we were there. But the carpet in our room was filthy. Bring your slippers. Keep your shoes on. The staff was VERY nice.

Hotel was nasty & dirty. I asked the front desk for clean towels & an iron. They told me sorry they didn't have any & didn't care. Their was also, no housekeeping service etc. Carpet in room dirty. Even foun lizards & crickets in my room. It was just the worst experience ever. Never again!!!!😐

The pictures to the hotel are so misleading, this place is absolutely disgusting. It looks nice on the outside but as soon as you go in you can smell the mold. The hotel room was so gross and smelled terrible. The carpet and the walls were so gross. We saw several ants on the bed. We tried to find another hotel to stay in but everything was booked. When we checked in the lady in the front desk didn’t say a single word to me, she just gave me paperwork and my keys, so unprofessional. The lady that we checked out with was so much nicer. If we’re even back in the are there’s is absolutely no way we’ll stay here, I’d rather sleep in my car.

Room was dirty, sheets had spots, shower didn't work properly and was dirty, the curtain in room didn't close all the way, and some of the lights did not work. I Did not feel comfortable at all.

This facility is in desperate need of a remodel. The rooms smell terrible like they’ve been underwater. The carpet needs to be ripped out and new carpet put in or do away with Carpet altogether. The door frames around the bathroom or Rusty and you can tell that the place is drawing a lot of moisture due to where it is located. I don’t feel that anything is being done as far as dehumidifiers in the air conditioning system to get rid of the mildew and moisture building up in this facility. I am prone to find another place to stay

Place needs to keep more care about cleaness, trash can still with trash inside, carpets with stains on it.

The air conditioner in two different rooms did not have a fan speed to circulate air. The floor was so dirty, I had to use a wet towel to mop the floors to keep my feet from getting black.

Room was dirty…had a horrible mildew smell And every thing was moist like the room was sweating

There were dead roaches all over the floor. The bedding had stains on them. The building smelled weird.

The hotel is frugal is a good description. Tiny rooms with no coffee pot, tissue paper, or even a Gideon bible.

I stayed in my room and slept. It was quiet and its a fair priced hotel.

Underated. Pictures do not portrait it accurately. Not worth it. Need renovations. TV small and disnt work well. Wi-Fi was slow. No breakfast. For the price would never stay again. Motel 6 is a better option! Could use a good cleaning.

Front desk clerk was on her IPAD watching UTUBE. Looked back and seen me at the front and watch another few minutes before coming up.

Traveling do to work. I originally book one day because that’s what I needed at that time. Job was extended, so I ask to extend stay. I look online and at other vendors and both had rooms available however front desk told me that didn’t. So I just booked another room online and ask can I just keep same room. This would have not only been convenient to me but also one least room housekeeping had to clean. After calling back a few time I was able to keep same room! Why do people have to make simple situations so difficult. Horrible customer service! Or maybe lack of training.

Really disappointed, was the worst experience ever😞 We arrived at 2:10 pm because they charge my debit card at 1 pm twice and how I booked 2 room I thought was both room separated but at my arrival the receptionist said that the check in was at 3 pm I completely understand and I said ok and I went to other place making time. I went back at 3:08 pm and then appear only one room available, we was 4 adults and 2 kids one of them infant but the other teenager imposible fit in one room. I showed her my reservation from expedia web and the two charge on my debit card and after a called she only told me sorry and that all of that was Expedia's fault because they send the reservation wrong, I explained her that I didn't care faults I just need the rooms because my 1 years old girl was really tired after 6 hours trip, but the receptionist just said sorry again and she gave me a paper with a few hotel that I could try to get a reservation myself. That left me in terrible rain with wind, a crying baby and a two-hour trip through traffic to get a new hotel downtown, which was not what I was looking for because I had chosen that hotel because it was close to my husband's work. A completely disaster 😡

I had to ask for clean towels twice and there was no one that came around to at least give trash bags. Cheked out of the room and had another stay booked apparently i was in the same room I left my key upfront and came back and the room was untouched again could have left clean towels and vacuumed but nothing. I can say the women at the front desk were so sweet but as far as the stay we wont be going back there again.

Ease of access to surrounding areas is good. Staff are easy to work with and try to accommodate your needs. Rooms have a musty smell. During our first stay here, we had a weak spot in the floor that suggested possible water damage. The Beds are ok, but nothing to write home about. There is no food service in the area, so bring what you want to eat, or it's a 30-minute ride into Belle Chasse or Gretna to get something.

Ladies at front desk were nice that’s the only good thing about the hotel my microwave had rust all in it ,there was no breakfast like they say or coffee day before I checked out lady went in my room why I was at work took all the towels and moved some of my items took everything out of the refrigerator and placed them on table it was all spoiled by time I got back to my room they also through my allergy medication away most definitely a rip off for 85 a night if your going to work at lng don’t make the same mistake as me stay away from we stay I there is a reason only 5 cars are in parking lot

Like everything, but didn't offer any kind of breakfast!

The ladies at front desk were noce ,hotel on the other hand is terrible they say there is free breakfast that’s a lie ,tv was like 28 in and had a li e down the middle day before check out cleani g lady took all the towels and took all my stuff out of the refrigerator and sat it on the desk all my food was spoiled and she through my allergie medication away I came here to work at the lng plant … don’t make the mistake I made stay away from we stay
