Take them up on their offer to send a shuttle to meet you at the airport. It is really not that easy to find the small unmarked hotel inside the Diocletian Palace grounds, but of course that is its charm! Their driver (Elvis) was friendly and professional and the cost comparable to a taxi. Ivan and Jerolim, the staff at the desk also rock!

Property was centrally located. Room was very tiny and hotel did not have much space to sit and relax. Dining area for breakfast was crowded. Parking is 3 blocks away. Staff at hotel very helpful and considerate.

Fantastiskt bemötande. Kontaktade oss i god tid, hjälpte till med parkeringen och mötte oss där och visade vägen till hotellet. Personalen var behjälplig med restaurang bokning och gav bra tips vad som finns i Split. Mysigt och trevligt litet hotell mitt i gamla stan i Split. Moderna och snyggt. Rummet med takterrassen var fantastiskt. Lugnt och trevligt med avskildhet mitt i stan. God och riklig frukost, kan beställa allt från omelett till olika sorters kaffe utöver det som stod framdukat.

Excellent hotel in great location. Staff were fantastic and very helpful. But be aware it is a very small hotel with a tiny area in which to serve breakfast. What would be lovely would be for the hotel to offer the opportunity to eat breakfast in the lovely historic court yard below. Maybe an idea for the future?

Right in the middle of Diocletian palace, Murum hotel is a lovely little gem with just 7 rooms. Beautifully restored building, great trendy bedroom and very comfortable bed. Staff were fantastic, and the breakfast superb! Loved our 3 nights, location was so quiet despite being in the middle of the old town. Fabulous restaurant in the square outside called portafino. Stairs up to the first floor, then a lift, so not suitable for wheelchair users

Parking was very difficult since this hotel was inside the Palace, but the staff and hotel itself made up for any inconvenience. The breakfast was outstanding! The staff was very helpful in giving us tips and directions for getting around Split. We would definitely stay there again.

The staff are very helpful and obliging. The room we had was opposite reception and we heard the guests late at night returning and leaving early. We also had a shower that leaked badly enough to soak the bath mat that I could wring out and then some. Staff notified.

Front desk was amazing. Our room was ready early which allowed for early checkin which was fantastic. Front desk was super helpful. Arranged breakfast boxes both mornings when we had early tours and flight and had someone come and help with our luggage when we arrived at the port from a cruise. All in all can't say enough about how great this hotel and staff were and the room was nice and clean as well!

Really enjoyable stay in the heart of the old town. We had 2 rooms and were warmly welcomed on the first day. Breakfast was fantastic. Only issues were being charged a ridiculous amount for water when we were led to believe this would be included and a shower that was not working properly in one of the rooms.

Hotel Murum is a wonderful hotel in many ways and we enjoyed our stay very much. The staff provides excellent service and helped with our reservations. The room is beautiful, clean and comfortable. The daily breakfasts are delicious which were cooked to order, along with a very nice selection of breakfast items and juices. The location is perfect!

I cannot say enough about this property! The location! The staff was amazing! The breakfast buffet - the best!! Heated floor! Do the deluxe room with balcony over old town. Worth every penny! Only seven rooms! Room is modern and has everything! Comfortable bed. Truly an amazing stay - and we are picky!!!

This is a wonderful hotel. The staff were so kind and hospitable. Breakfast is lavish and delicious. It's quiet even though it's in Diocletian Palace. Rooms are so spacious and well designed. I very much appreciate the terrace. Totally relaxing. I'd go back to Split just to stay here.

A beautiful hotel inside the palace has a really special feel, the welcome and hospitality of the staff made our trip extra special - from arranging transport, boat tours, dinner recommendations and bookings. Our room was gorgeous, modern and cosy with a private terrace above the rooftops and with views of old town in all directions. All in all a magical stay and somewhere we would come back to again.

Quirky hotel that’s been beautifully restored in the old town. Close to all attractions and fabulous restaurants. Comfy beds, gorgeous bathroom with Rituals shampoo and conditioner provided. Lovely fresh buffet breakfast and very helpful staff giving you the warmest welcome!

Not a bad hotel overall it’s centrally located, the staff is nice and helpful but the comfort is a problem. The mattress was one of the most uncomfortable I’ve ever slept on in an hotel; very thin and doesn’t offer much back support. Also the room is quite small it’s hard to manœuvre with the luggage due to the cramped space. It’s a tiny hotel so I understand that they have limited option with regard to the dimensions of the room and the bed but a comfortable mattress is quite essential. The area can be a bit noisy but on the 4th floor the soundproof is mostly effective. The breakfast area is small but offer a good selection of the basics.

Excellent service, cordial, profesional and friendly staff. Everyone went out of their way to serve us. Excellent all around- one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at. Highly, highly recommended. Very pleasant staff, wonderful surroundings, with easy, safe access to a wide variety of shops and restaurants.

The service at this hotel was excellent!! We had forgotten our passports in Hvar and it was an stress-free experience getting them back thanks to Katja. She was also amazing at letting us know about the area. Bruno escorted us at 5 am with our luggage to an Uber outside the old town walls and waited with us until it arrived. Service like this is what makes you want to come back. Tremendous.

The staff went above and beyond for us. We had trouble with our flight and they offered several ways to help us. They also prepared early breakfast both mornings as we had to leave before normal meal time. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel.
