Ameritania at Times Square

We made our decision to stay here because of the location and proximity to the theaters we were going to during our stay. This location was perfect for so much. The rooms were cozy but updated very tastefully and the lobby was very nice as well. We LOVED the daily Wine Hour and took advantage of that benefit nightly. What we DIDN'T enjoy, was the noise ALL NIGHT LONG. Between the non-stop construction, the airhorns and constant drilling (or whatever noise that was) it made it impossible to sleep at all. I know there isn't much you can do about the construction but it really put a damper on an otherwise pleasant visit.

Great staff, spotless rooms. The standard doubles are minimally sized but do the job.

Excellent location - right in midtown, near Times Square. The room was large and quiet. Great bathroom! Parking is available nearby at a discounted rate with ticket validated.

Very nice stay, no noise issues despite there being construction and myself selecting a room across the elevator (larger 2 bed room), shower awesome and upscale toiletries. New favorite hotel walking distance to theaters, Times Square and Central Park, subway. 9/10!!!

Great location in upper Times Square--perfect for a visit to Lincoln Center. I love the retro lobby and common area decor--very striking! Staff are friendly and pleasant, and the room was small but comfortable. Plenty of parking options.
