Perth City Apartment Hotel

Great location and room OK, however, ceiling fan was not working and was not repaired in our 6 day stay. (Staff did provide a portable fan, which was much appreciated). Also, the exercise room was unavailable - this was one of the facilities that we booked this hotel for, so that was disappointing. Also disappointing that on last day of our stay, staff were taking equipment from the cleaning store opposite our room very early in the morning. Moving the equipment was extremely noisy and prolonged.

Parking is terrible and the appliances are out dated like the washing machine and kettle, door posts are worn out. Would have been good if they dont ask for security bond

If I could give a zero star I would. We left early and found alternative accomodation as the place stunk like smokes, the pool wasn't open and the other guests made us feel unsafe. the police were there a few time as well. the only thing it has going is that it is across from Habour Town shopping centre. But do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else and just drive to the shop if you want to go there.

Sheesh…. Where to start. At the beginning I guess. Upon arrival, (7.15pm) front desk closed - Had to do check in by phone. Owner (Eddie) demands additional $60 as cleaning surcharge and a $300 ‘bond’ - neither of which was on wotif terms when booked. Owner belligerent and unwavering - no payment, no entry. Astonishing re cleaning surcharge considering text message you will get prior to check out states “Please tidy up. There is a vacuum cleaner in room if needed”…. Huh ? I’ve been charged a cleaning fee and now they expects guests to vacuum their own room !! Let’s get on to the facilities (or lack of them) - Pool area had just 1 lounge chair (not as per photo) which had a broken arm rest. Pretty much unusable. No other seating apart from a table and chairs just outside pool area but there was a terrible stench in that area. Mentioned it Day 1, nothing was done to rectify. Wifi and tv didn’t work night 1 and nobody avail to do anything about it until morning. When advised Eddie next morning, I was given different wifi hookup which worked but still no tv. Eddie non plussed “yeah, sometimes happens” Couch in room was laughable due to how bad it was. Hard to describe but couldn’t sit or lie on at all. The lumpiest , most uneven couch I’ve encountered. To suggest it is acceptable for accom is simply ridiculous. Bed is rock hard, clearly the cheapest range of mattress on market. The one thing that was good was shower once I reattached the shower head that fell off. Avoid

The staff were very friendly couldnt do enough for us but someone damaged our car (caught on their security camera) we reported it to the police and management, and because the person was under age they did not submitt the footage,also came into our room while we were not there did not replace the towels or the tea & sugar,but left a tin of oven cleaner on the table ( the room did not have an oven) wil never stay there again ( cant afford any more damage to our car)one more complaint ,the ajoining rooms had very noisey neighbours,they also did not proceed with the bond payment until a week after our departure i give this place 1star( not because of the office staff)but because of the incedents that happened

Staff were very nice, helpful and easy to deal with. Facilities were outdated and run down. Area was very rough and occupants that actually live there were rude, loud and aggressive.

Check in was good, room ok but dirty sock (not mine) on bedroom floor. Next door neighbour had people knocking on his door frequently all night & talking loudly in the corridor outside our room (we could hear what they were saying…I’ll just say, dodgy deals)! I have stayed here before but never again.

Hallway carpets are worn, outdated, and unclean, necessitating renovation. Furthermore, the first floor's unusual odor suggests potential substance use, compromising safety. Considering these concerns, I strongly recommend exploring alternative hotels, particularly for families. This establishment requires significant refurbishment to enhance its quality and appeal.

Very dirty building that smells of cigarettes. Floors are just disgusting with stained carpets and chewing gum stuck to them, the apartment had very limited, mismatched crockery that wasn’t even clean, the ceiling fan above our bed was filthy, cracked shower screen and dripping tap in bathroom, peeling window tints on all windows. Management are liars, and will bill you for extra fees. I have photos and text messages to prove all the above.

Room and linen stunk of smoke. Cabinetry etc was damaged. No top sheet on bed. Huge difficulties paying for cleaning deposit which is obviously not used. Car parks so small I had to crawl out of my car passenger door and go under two side mirrors as I could not step between them.

The room that I was in was quite spacious and has all the amenities I required for travellers. Some tenents are just noisy as if they are refurbishing inside their room. If youre lucky enough, you might end up with a quiet neighbor then youre stay would be pleasant.

We arrived at 6pm and place was locked. Managed to find someone to let us in. The hotel appears to be unclean with corridor carpet in dire condition. However the apartment we had booked was roomy and met all our needs for washing and cooking for 8 nights of stay. A service charge was applied however no service provided over the 8/9 days we were there. Despite requesting toilet paper 2/3 times nothing was provided so we had to buy our own. For a none smoking room it stank of stale tobacco smoke. Air conditioning worked in the lounge area however both bed room fans were inadequate. We requested if they could print two boarding cards the charge was an unacceptable $2.50 each. However Ahmed who dealt with us most of the time was very nice and entertaining. Overall it did the job however we will not pick it again if we ended up in Perth .

The hotel room door has no peep hole. The curtains are torn in the living room. Also difficult to pull the curtains aside

We had a very unfortunate experience. Firstly our booking was duplicated so 2 apartments were booked. The property bought this to our attention but failed to offer or provide a refund. We experienced flight delays and advised the property we would be late. Unfortunately we arrived to a locked reception and no one responding to our calls. We had to book alternative accommodation, late at night and in raining weather. It was the next day before we received a reply from the property. When we advised we wished to cancel our booking, citing the prior night poor experience, we were told we can just come and stay. Still no offer to refund the duplicate booking. We offered to pay for the prior night and requested a refund for the balance of the stay (we booked for a week). We were told we can just come and stay. We lodged a formal complaint with WOTIF who simply said there was nothing they can do as it is an issue between us and the property. We will NEVER use this property or WOTIF again

The host, Eddie, was amazing. The property was was bit run in, but for a last-minute accommodation and something that I only needed for a night this was more than enough. And even though I showed up late and the office was shut, he was more than accommodating and helped me get in. I will be eternally grateful for his kindness. Karma has a way of coming around and I will definitely pay it forward. Thanks, Eddie. 10 out of 10 recommend if only for the service. Cheers! —J

Run down, dirty, smelly, plus hidden fees.

Not a nice or safe place to stay, prostitutes and unsavoury characters all around and inside the hotel. Would not recommend for families. Asked the owner for a refund as I was not going to stay after looking around but refused.

Prisvärt, men inte så hög standard. Men man kan inte förvänta sig så hög standard för detta pris i centrala Perth. Gångavstånd till downtown.
