We booked the Fuji View Room — great location! It’s only a 10-minute bus ride to the visitor shuttle bus station. The onsen was wonderful. After 3–4 days of sightseeing in Japan, my feet were pretty sore, and the onsen helped a lot.

Beautiful hotel with a great view of Fuji when there are no clouds. Superb and friendly staff. Spotlessly clean. And the bonus, a 7th floor super calm onsen, with views of Fuji (if you stand up). About 7 minute walk from FujikyuHighland Station and 15-20mins from Kamaguchiko (station and lake). We are very happy with our stay here. Thank you

Stayed 2 nights at this hotel. Our room was on level 7, which is the same level as the onsen, so it was very convenient for us to use the onsen. Our stay included breakfast and dinner. Both meals were buffets, with a good variety of food choices. We drove, so parking was really free and convenient. Overall, nice stay, friendly staff and good amenities.

The location is great for fujikyu highland and is not too bad of a walk to the lake area. The onsen has a beautiful view of Fuju-san and was best enjoyed in the morning. The onsen is large enough for possibly 12 adults at a time and can feel a little cramped when busy. The amenities they provide and the quality of the facility are great!

It was okay overall but unfortunately it wasn't clean the hygiene was really poor, there was hair in the bath tub, I even found hair inside the kettle, the room was really hot and we couldn't adjust the temperature. The view of Mount Fuji was amazing though.

This place has a view of MT Fuji but it is largely blocked by the roller coaster and electrical lines, the photos of the onsen show views of the mountain but it is impossible to see the mountain while sitting in the bath as the windows are blocked. The worst part was that we were unable to control the temperature of our room without paying for it. The rooms were small. The breakfast was good. Also, this hotel is not near the lake area.

Hotel is nice and good location. The only two things that were a problem, was noisy guests banging and/or jumping around till after 11 pm and again before 7am. The bathroom could be a little bigger as the room was a good size.

The room with the mountain view is amazing! Even the lovely public bath has a mountain view. So close to FujiQ Highland. Convenient bus stop that connects to other areas around Kawaguchiko! Room is quite spacious for 2, with a table & 2 chairs to chill by the large windows. Will definitely stay here again!

I’ve stayed in this property 3 times. Each time the staff has been exceptionally polite and helpful. Great English communication if needed. The Onsen on site is amazing with a fantastic view of Fuji. I haven’t tried the restaurant for dinner myself so I can’t comment on that but for breakfast it’s great. The hotel is also 5ish minutes from the FujiQ Highland stop so it’s convenient to get to if travelling from Tokyo and it’s half an hour one way to the Chureito Pagoda and half an hour the other way from Lake Kawaguchi. I’ve recommended this hotel to anyone who is staying in the area.

I had a wonderful two-night stay at HOTEL MYSTAYS Fuji Onsen Resort. The room was clean and comfortable, and the view of Mt. Fuji was absolutely breathtaking. The onsen facilities were relaxing and well-maintained, making my stay even more enjoyable. I would especially like to thank Kandel at the front desk, who went above and beyond to help me during a stressful situation. I had accidentally left my passport at a previous hotel, and Kandel kindly assisted me in contacting them and coordinating the delivery of the passport to my current location. His support and professionalism made a huge difference, and I’m extremely grateful. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Fuji area.

Overall, the experience is quite good, apart from when checking in that night the reception lady (wearing glasses one) made us wait for awhile at the reception counter and when we ask for more questions, she showed impatient. However, there were no guest waiting behind. I think her attitude to the guest need to be improve.

Hotel Mystays is a large chain in Japan so travelers know what to expect, the Fuji location seems to be new and as such the hotel is well designed, very clean, and feels modern. We were on the second floor and lucky to have a room facing Mt. Fuji, although travelers should be aware that the Hotel also faces the Fuji-Q Highland amusement park and parts of the roller coster will be in any pictures you try to take. My biggest issue with the hotel was its location, it's very removed from Lake Kawaguchi where I personally feel is where all the attractions are. The walk from the hotel is around 30 minutes with some uphill, this can obviously be cut short by taking the bus but if you're coming from Tokyo or Kyoto you may feel the transportation options to be lacking and rather inconvenient. For this reason I wish the hotel's location was better, but I digress. The main appeal of this hotel (like others in the area) is the onsen. If you're new to Japan or hot springs/onsens this is something I highly recommend trying, it's a very relaxing cultural experience and my favourite part of this hotel (other than the view of Mt. Fuji). The hotel has a communal onsen (gender separated) with a locker room, bathing area, indoor portion, and an outdoor portion. Please note that you're required to bath before entering the water and cannot wear clothes while in the water. Apart from this the other things we liked about this hotel were breakfast and laundry amenties.

We were fortunate enough to have a room with Mt Fuji view and it was absolutely gorgeous. Facility was lovely but would be even better if shuttle service is provided to/from Kawaguchiko station. Helps especially dragging luggage walking in summer heat was brutal.

The hotel itself was nice. The area is a little difficult since the bus/train schedule is limited, and taxis were not readily available. It would be nice to have a shuttle from the hotel to Fuji-Q and Kawaguchiko stations since it is a ways to walk with luggage.

The food was extremely overpriced for a mediocre buffet and you have to purchase a meal ticket at least 24 hours in advance, which is a bit inconvenient. The bidet was so covered in mold that the water could not even come out (thank goodness because that wouldve been gross). The staff was nice and pleasant but i would not recommend this hotel unless you are on a budget

Good views of Mt Fuji but the place is not near any food options and reservations have to be made for buffet. I was not told this at check in and they told me they sold out of seats. They did accommodate me as a solo traveler and the food was ok. Otherwise front desk is nice. They helped me get a taxi to the train station
