The room had some visible wear and tear, but it was clean. Breakfast was average and comparable to other low end hotels. The pool was surprisingly small and felt crowded with just a couple families around. With that said, we were happy with our stay and it felt like slightly higher quality than other comparable hotels.

The hotel was overall a good experience. Very clean, friendly and helpful staff! The pool was not the best experience but was doable, it is very small….and I mean VERY small and needed a good cleaning! The bed wasn’t the most comfortable but again, doable.

Great location with lots of dining options nearby. We chose this location because we like the suite room which offers 2 queens & then a couch that’s folds out plus a little area with fridge, etc. Pros: great breakfast, great staff even though their were computer issues because of the tropical storm. Cons: Only 1 working elevator, this was a pain. 1 one washer & dryer. The dryer must be packed with lint inside somewhere… it took us 2 times to try & dry 1 load. The bathroom in our room (#513) had some blood on the wall which I thought the cleaning staff should’ve seen when cleaning because I couldn’t unsee it. There needs to be a plug under the mirror outside the bathroom so multiple ppl can get ready at one time. All in all, I will stay here again. My overall review is 8/10. I like the overall layout of the room, staff was great!! Food was good & they had a wine opener I could borrow!

It's a nice enough hotel, but service is lacking. It has two elevators, but one is broken. The man at the front desk informed me that they are waiting until a weekday to get it fixed otherwise they'll have to pay the overtime fee. Meanwhile, you have 6 floors of people trying to use one elevator, making a stop at each and every floor. When I checked in, I informed him that we were using the trundle bed and he said that he would have some make it up for us. We made it to the room and got settled and no one brought the bedding. I called down and asked for it again and was told they'd be right up. Waited another 20 mins and still no bedding, so just went down and got it myself. Springhill Suites are normally better than this, but this one is definitely subpar in the customer service aspect.

This property is a great location if you want to have a nice quiet stay that is in short driving distance to all major areas in Charleston. Parking is available on site at the hotel and there are many restaurants near by. We really enjoyed our stay here!

They have a bar tender, but only every other weekend. You would think they would have one Sat night on Memorial. We booked on the wrong weekend so no night cap for us while on vacation. Also they put us in an ADA room. It’s way to big. The TV is in the seating area and you would have to blast it just to hear it. Wish I would have requested a different room.

We had a great experience all round! Unfortunately the dryer didn't work for us to dry our towels after 6 kids went for a swim. Would definitely recommend staying here.

We stayed in the same chain in Denver before heading to Charleston and the two hotels couldnt have been any different. The Mt Pleasant location had stains in the carpet in the room, hallways, mud in the elevators that were there all three days. Had to wake up the front desk clerk to but a drink from the market and check out. And the smell in the room was awful, I think it was some sort of cleaner but smelled every day we were there. Wouldn't stay at this location again. Only positive was free parking.

Great location, but noisy due to kids running rampant in the halls. Also, not as clean as one would hope. Found the previous guest's leftovers still in the microwave oven. Desk clerk did not seem the least bit apologetic. Checked out a day early.

The complementary breakfast was great and had options for gluten free visitors as well - loved it! The room was musty and smelled of mold, wet carpets, perpetual dampness. The hotel was full and so we made the best of it.

Walked into the room and there was urine stains all over the floor. We could not walk into the room without the smell making us nauseous. We were told we could have spray to overpower the smell but when I said it was unsanitary he said there’s nothing he could do. He moved our family of 5 to a small room with one bed and offered no other options. It was terrible, our 15 and 12 year old slept on the floor due to the pull out only being big enough for our 6 year old.

This is a tired hotel...rooms are updated but they are just a dark box with 1 small window. Walls are thin and you can hear the toilets flushing next door. Pool was scary looking,not inviting at all

Some of the desk staff were not very friendly or helpful. Our sink would not drain and the shower door leaked a lot of water. We reported it but the hotel did nothing to correct it. We asked for the room to be refreshed and new towels. Again the hotel did nothing. The layout of the room is small and difficult to manage with two guests. We stay at Marriott hotels a lot and they have always been able to find our Bonvoy number. Not so at this Spring Hill hotel. We will not stay at a Spring Hill hotel again.

Great location - Just 10-15 minutes to downtown Charleston and 10 minutes to Sullivan Island beach. Room was very clean and comfortable. Great breakfast in the morning with lots of choices. I would definitely stay there again!

There was a lot of construction on the road to navigate around, but otherwise pretty convenient. It is not as quick and easy a ride into main part of Charleston as I had thought. Its good if you are visiting the USS Yorktown, but definitely stay closer to downtown area if you are staying to check out the sights of the city.

Our visit to Charleston overlapped with SEWE (a big event that draws lots of people to Charleston.) This made our hotel search a little tougher. Thankfully, we knew Mt. Pleasant would have us just a short Uber ride from everything we wanted to do. This Springhill Suites location is so close to the bridge, it is really a convenient location for anyone looking to not break the bank. Mt. Pleasant has great restaurants too so it was nice to escape the busy crowds and have dinner on the other side of the bridge. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was setup nicely each morning and the hotel is very clean and well maintained.

Pros: very close to the USS Yorktown. My kids" cub scout pack spent 1 night on the ship and we decided to stay another night in Charleston. Very clean room and property. Friendly and professional staff. They had Gluten free bagels available at Breakfast and yogurts which was great for my gluten free kids. Con: unfortunately i could not warm up the gluten free bagels for my kids.The only available toasters and microwave were also used to toast regular breads and bagels.

Nice property , breakfast is just ok. For the price there should at least be waffles. I stayed at a lesser hilton and they had waffles and 2 different pancakes mixes to chose from.

It's a nice hotel. Would think for the price that is paid you would get hand soap in the bathroom and not have to use the body wash attached to the shower wall. Room not cleaned in the 3 nights we stayed. Breakfast very weak.

We stayed here for a 2 night visit. We wanted more affordable lodging than was available in Charleston. It’s a short drive across the bridge to downtown. There are restaurants nearby but nothing in walking distance. This property is not as pristine or well-maintained as some other SpringHill suites but was fine for 2 nights. Breakfast was okay but they do offer evening bar service some evenings which was convenient.
