The overall experience was positive but, I got stuck in an elevator with three other guests and it was nerve wracking. The operator on the other end of the PA when I pressed the call button was quick to respond but the automatic message in the elevator car was that they were doing inspections on the elevators and that was repeated. If they were doing Inspections on the elevators, those elevator should have been roped off. People should not have been allowed to use them.

Loved the eco friendly sustainable theme and abundance of plants in the foyer. Thoroughly enjoyed staying there - light crowd, quick check, pleasant staff. Room was on a smaller side but that is to be expected I guess given the location. Enjoyed staying in Dumbo with everything being walkable around us. Worth the money and experience. Wish the gym was bigger but we were the only ones that morning so didn’t bother us.

Had a really bad experience at the SPA of 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge. Therapist was, in my opinion, not qualified or trained to do a deep tissue massage. Very overpriced and one hour waste of time. Following day, we got notified by pool staff to move after 2 hrs by the sun bed in order to give up our space to other guests. This was the final drop; after a complaint to receptionist we decided to check out and leave the hotel 2 days prior to our planned check-out. No apologies, no sorry for what you experienced. Just the the simple words; do you need help with your bags. This treatment is one you shouldn’t expect from a 5 star hotel. Very poor level of service. In general, it’s also a bit overpriced, in terms of services, F&B. For these reasons, my recommendation; choose another hotel for your NY stay. So many good options in the 5 star category. I will not return to this hotel under any circumstances.

This is supposed to a 5*hotel and yet…. You can not order food nor drink before 12 pm by pool. You need to be on waiting list to get a sunbed, then limited to 2 hours and then they charge you an additional $45 amenity fee for the pleasure of not having any amenities.

Good: stylish hotel, amazing views of Brooklyn bridge and NY Skyline, amazing hotel shampoo products, great location to get ferry to financial district, good food around hotel, comfy bed, great service as they left us a gift for anniversary. Pool was great with amazing views, patio restaurant amazing. Not great: loud as you can hear other guests in hall and outdoor street noise, food a bit expensive

The staff was extremely kind and hospitable. The property was beautiful and well maintained and clean. It was an anniversary celebration for my parents and they truly went above and beyond. Our room had the most beautiful view of the Brooklyn bridge. Can’t wait to stay here again!

It's been a while since this property was last renovated, but when it was they did a beautiful job. From the outside it looks awful, but the minute you step into the lobby the beautiful interior design stands out, all done in the best materials. The elevator makes all sorts of odd noises, the chairs and sofas are worn, but it doesn't matter. My spacious room had floor to ceiling windows showcasing the Brooklyn skyline, an excellent, comfortable layout, a great mattress, glass and wood everywhere. Though some of the towels, electrical outlets, curtains had seen better days, everything was spotlessly clean, bright and light. Really one of the nicest hotel rooms I've ever stayed in. And the staff was wonderful--cheerful and efficient.

Bathroom was dirty when I arrived. Stingy with sugar at coffee station in room. Washcloths not replaced. Minibar not restocked. And rude manager in cafe. Visit when first opened was a treat. Things have gone downhill considerably.

Upon arrival the aesthetics were superb! Headed to the reception desk, the service there was great as well. The only negative thing I experienced were pieces of hair and lash clusters scattered throughout different areas on the room (the towels, the bed sheets, the couch, couch pillows, etc.). Other than that, I would stay again and recommend a new room if that happens to you.

Doesn't worth the money. The room is small, soundproof not as well as described. I chose Brooklyn bridge view but there is actually a construction site next to the hotel and they didn't even notice the customers. The construction site starts working, breaking the rocks from 9AM and you will definitely hear very loud noise from it. The rooftop is nothing special, many rooftop bars in the city are so much better than it. The pool is the worst. I had never seen a pool could be that Small in such a luxury hotel.

We paid for a room with a view of Brooklyn bridge which we had but ment we had the noise from the elevator all night, the chains need oiling or something. Also check out if you aren’t leaving immediately is a mess. Sent down to change in the public toilets (male and female) that are also shared with the public, as there was a wedding happening they were extremely busy and messy. With a toddler this was hard work. In other hotels of this price point you’re offered a shower in the spa at least and locker to store your change of clothes. The lack of this meant us opening up our suitcases in the middle of busy reception. It’s messy, chaotic and undignified. Not how we wanted to begin our journey back to the UK.

The view of the city was amazing! The park in front of the hotel is also a nice place to get out and enjoy the weather. Getting to Manhattan using the Dumbo ferry to pier 11 in the financial district was very convenient. My only complaint was the lack of privacy for the bathroom. The shower and toilet had glass doors facing the rest of the room. The public bathroom in the hotel lobby is also mixed use. Male and female in the same room with separate stalls. That may bother some if you have younger kids or something.

Room wasn’t ready by 4:00 check in 2 out of 3 mornings very noisy at 5:30 am, noise coming from floor above (10th floor), which is bar/lounge. Sounded like they were in our room

This place was amazing, from the bartender Josh to Seiki and Selina, and also JD the concierge, I know I’m leaving people out but the entire staff made our stay perfection, it was first class all the way and I would never stay anywhere else when we go back, just truly a first rate experience

I booked at suite at the 1Hotel for my wedding stay and had the worst experience - to the point of crying in the lobby. I had planned to take photos in the suite. The room I had received was NOT the room I booked. The hotel also was not able to accommodate any change and offered to 'downgrade' me. They were also almost an hour LATE in checking me in. The room itself had a fold up bed (the type that folds into the wall) and was a full sized uncomfortable bed. The lighting in the room was dark and the windows looked into other rooms so people could clearly see us sleeping in bed. We found a nail on the floor by the couch. Overall it was a horrible experience and unfortunately for me - it was for my wedding. The hotel does not care. For this price point and for a hotel that claims to be 5 stars, stay somewhere else!!!!

Absolutely wonderful staff from the time I approached the front door until I checked out, everyone was friendly, helpful and accommodating. The lobby was well appointed and comfortable and the view from my room was outstanding. Plus, the room was clean with in-room filtered water and the bed was very comfortable. Additionally, the property is located near restaurants and a riverside park, allowing for easy access to local photo ops. Will definitely stay again. Overall, 10/10 and I highly recommend!

The service is a bit unorganized. Delivered food to the wrong room, serve dinner menu at breakfast, bring me a bill without a pen to sign, waited for 20 minutes to check in..... ugh. I paid over $1000 for a night, for that price I expected better.

Such a wonderful welcome! One of the best check-in experiences - Sarah was so welcoming, gave me wine and had my bags taken up so I could go up to the roof terrace and enjoy the view! Marvelous!

My wife and I recently stayed at the 1 hotel Brooklyn; we’re fans of the franchise and have previously stayed at this property and the property in Miami. This latest stay disappointed unfortunately. Several of the light switches in our room were non functional as was the Nespresso machine indicating poor upkeep. We dined both at the Osprey and Harriett. While the drinks were decent, the quality of service at the Harriett was sub par for a luxury hotel bar. We were seated and unattended to for a long long period (30 minutes)

This location and the property was absolutely beautiful. The views to the brooklyn bridge was breathtaking and it felt like we were in a retreat. A perfect escape from the city. It was close enough to amazong shopping and food in DUMBO and only 11 min walk to nearest metro. Can't wait to come back and visit!

Its in a great spot with great views of Manhattan. Restaurant was excellent, the room has some unique touches, eco friendly and the vibe of the place fit us. I would definitely recommend staying there. You can walk everywhere in the Brooklyn downtown and Heights district - and of course walk across the Brooklyn Bridge.

I do this property and the 1 Hotel brand. The views are stunning and the Brooklyn Bridge Park right outside its doors is pretty special. The rooms are perfectly appointed. The roof top bar is a little tired and cld use some fresh furnishings. Also, they used to have bar service in the lobby seating but don’t now. They should get that back. One evening both Harriet’s and the main floor resto were closed until 8pm for private functions. They should never close both at the same time. A Thursday evening and cldnt get a cocktail in a 5 star hotel? Great location though and an immaculate property.

We love the 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge and have stayed many times. We had some less than ideal experiences that should not happen when you pay this dollar for a room. Our coffee maker didn’t work, the lights were not in sync, one glass was dirty, and room service first brought the wrong order, then when our order arrived they had microwaved the croissants, only 1 napkin and silverware, and very average food for over $100. It’s a bit over priced for the product and service.

This is a beautiful hotel. The rooftop pool and Cafe is awesome. The room is very nice with wood and metal accents, super lighting options, and comfortable furnishings. The AC is very quiet and effective. The restaurant has delicious food. All the employees were super nice and helpful. Truly a great experience.

This hotel is amazing taste. One of the most nice visual and atmosphere hotel in New York. Restaurant is good bit too salty like usual restaurant. Staff is nice but bit dry. Room is very nice but the water faucet was really tight and not design for comfortable use. Roof top view is fantastic.pool is good to refresh. I would come back again.

Nice views.. but food at restaurant left a lot to be desired. Also staff presentation was terrible. They need uniforms and a dress code. Booty shorts, wrinkled clothing... its all a part of the experience and everyone looked like they got up out of bed and came to work. Take pride. Its managements fault ..

A beautiful property nestled right next to the pier with unbeatable views of the manhattan bridge and Ellis island. A great getaway from the busy city while only being a short train ride away. The in room dining service was phenomenal- presentation, price, taste, ticket time and service. The cafe off the lobby offered great grab and go options and the lounge was a tranquil atmosphere filled with greenery and cozy seating. If you’re wondering if you should book this property? You should. It’s worth every dollar. Can’t wait to travel to another 1hotel property!
