Very cool place with good location. I am Over six foot and has a luggage for a 3 week trip. So the room was smalller than i need to feel comfortable. The lift is very limited with a long wait during busy hours. Otherwise a pleasant stay.

Hotel was very nice, small but cute. Our room was super small but we expected it. We were aiming for early check in but AC was down and hotel staff wanted to get everything in order before we go to our room. Rooftop was really nice but unfortunately both nights they decided to close 1 hour early so we were actually a bit disappointed because we couldn’t enjoy a drink and the view before going to sleep. Overall a nice place and staff was very friendly!

I really liked staying at the Arlo. Rooms are tiny but offer great amenities and mine had a great view. You can get coffee in the lobby and theres also a small diner. Sadly my visit was marred on the last day as i had to wait 30 minutes for an elevator. One went out of service and the other is programmed to bypass your floor to start at the top resulting in FIVE FULLL elevators stopping at my floor. I had luggage so i couldn’t use the stairs as i was on the 14th floor. Truly frustrating.

The front desk woman who checked me in was awesome! Explained things the hotel offer, like free bikes, the gym down the street, the free water and any additional fees that would apply. Answered all my questions and very helpful setting up the bike app. All the staff I encountered were very nice, whether in the elevator or welcoming on the rooftop. Our room had a perfect view and very clean. It was a bit expensive for the one night but well worth it!

I switched rooms twice - once because the room was dirty and once because the room's window shade didn't work. But the staff was really nice about switching. Quiet room. Comfortable bed. Coffee shop in the morning was really convenient and the little snack bar was open all night.

Initially we were placed in a different room. Walls were thin. Very noisy. Sink handle & toilet seat/dispenser were practically broken. We asked for another room & they graciously put us in another room. It was fine but there were yellow stains on the sheets. It’s a good hotel for solo travelers. Good location in koreatown. I wouldn’t recommend more than 1 person per room due to space issues.

This is my honest review I don’t really wr*te any review but this time I feel disgusted cause my towel has a hair seems like didn’t checked properly and put in the rack right away also I’m about to shower I found in shower curtain has long hair too it’s like didn’t clean properly poor service of the house keeping. Plus the toilet bowl has scratch I’m not comfortable using it looks like a po*p stain.

I think for any NYC hotel you have to go in expecting the rooms to be tiny and a little underwhelming for the price. Going in with that expectation, I really enjoyed my stay here! (lol). The bed was comfy, shower had extremely good water pressure, great window and natural light, and location was good for my purposes. I would stay again!

Stayed five nights in a Bunk Room with my 16-year-old niece. Perfect location just minutes from the Empire State Building. Clean, cozy room with comfy beds and great common areas. However, the AC was extremely loud and switched between hot and cold air, making it hard to sleep. The bathroom door offered almost no privacy, and there was only one mirror and little space for toiletries. If you don’t mind the bathroom setup, it’s a great stay overall — lovely vibe, friendly staff, and unbeatable location.

Very nice hotel near K-town, on 31st in between Park & Madison. The rooms are SMALL - you need to be prepared for that. Like, almost jail cell small. I want to give the property a higher rating, but one of the things i HATE is when the staff “upgrades” you to a room with obvious problems (that they know about, but you, the guest, are oblivious to). They made such a big deal at check-in about how they “upgraded me” into a corner room with glass windows on 2 sides because they wanted me to have such an “amazing stay”. What they didn’t tell me is that the morning sun would come blasting into my room & the automatic shades, which is the only way to block out the sun, were very clearly broken. So not only did the room heat up to the point where it was a sauna, the sun beat down so bad that I had to leave 2 1/2 hours early because I couldn’t even stand to be in there & squint. Additionally, it was obvious the control panel had been broken for quite some time & I’m positive they knew this. So, not sure if I would stay here again.

Hotel location is good. Very safe. Rooms are indeed on the smaller side. Very restricted movements. Not enough storage space. Shower is the saving grace - powerful and drains well. Bed is comfortable. Suitable for 2pax with one carryon suitcase and one backpack /purse each.

The room is extremely small, smaller than rooms in Tokyo and not nearly as well organized. You can get to the bed only from one side. If you open your bag (even a cabin-size one), you can barely get to the bed. Don't count on unpacking the bag. However, you can take out a toothbrush and there are hangers to hang some clothes. You have to keep the bag under the bed. There is nothing to hold to in the shower. The air conditioning is extremely noisy. If you open the blind on the window, you are seen from the building across the street, so, not much day light, if you want privacy. But the location is good.

Overall had good staff and beautiful views. The one thing that disgusted me was that I was not advised or warned that I was passing my check out time, so they charged me an extra $206 for late check out. Not to mention our hotel was not ready when we arrived so we had to wait four hours for us to get our room. We were exhausted walking around New York tired. I would like a refund of the extra $206 late fee of check which was not mentioned to me and the fact that they were not ready when we arrived for our trip. Thank you, but beautiful hotel, just didn’t like the last minute fee which was unexpected.

However, the hotel has since attempted to make several charges on my account without providing any clear explanation. This lack of transparency and communication is unacceptable, and it leaves a very negative impression. Guests should not have to worry about unexpected or unjustified payments after their stay. I would not recommend this hotel until they improve their billing practices and customer service.

I celebrated my Birthday here in March. This hotel was the best hotel choice for me , it is central to everything , the STAFF customer service is TOP TIER !! Anthony was amazing, he made sure everything that I needed was available for me. I made the last minute decision to order roses , which wasn’t in the time frame and Anthony made it happen. The Security guy that works second shift was so nice making sure to ask me was everything going ok when he seen me. The young lady who worked the front desk was beyond helpful ! When I pulled up to hotel it was raining and the guy that works first shift immediately came out to grab my luggage allowing me to run in and start my check in process. I will be back sooon !

The staff at Arlo are so personable and professional, they made me feel right at home and well taken care of! The room was gorgeous and the amenities were fabulous. I can’t wait to return for a longer trip to take advantage of the rooftop bar!

My son and I were in NYC for just a short time, but Arlo NoMad was the perfect home base. With stunning views from our corner room, to the cafe and the friendly staff.. it was perfect. We can't wait to return.
My son and I were in NYC for just a short time, but Arlo NoMad was the perfect home base. With stunning views from our corner room, to the cafe and the friendly staff.. it was perfect. We can't wait to return.

Front desk staff and barista in front were exceptional!!! Diner server/bartender couldn’t be bothered and didn’t offer refills or check on me. I was the only table. He was on his phone in plain view the whole time I was there.

Extremely rude manager. I had an issue with my check in and she couldn’t have been more miserable. Everyone else I interacted with was very pleasant, that it’s unfortunate one manager could give the hotel a bad rep.

Had one of the best trips we’ve ever had. Staff was so friendly and kind, especially Moses. Room was cozy and comfortable, loved the fresh waters every day. Location was so convenient, about a 10 min walk to Penn Station and so many places to eat nearby. Would stay here again!!

I always enjoy my stay here as the location is so convenient and easy to get around. It’s close to public transport yet also very walkable. Plenty of food option in and around the hotel. The staff is always so helpful! Special shoutout to Brianna, Brea and Kyara for making my stay so enjoyable!

The location of this hotel is unbeatable, and the rooms were clean and felt safe. The rooftop bar has a great view of the Empire State (they don't advertise this). However, the first day the cleaning staff damaged my glasses while cleaning, and the hotel first told us it must have been me and I must just not have realised, and then said we should have kept all valuables in the safe. They did not take any responsibility. It was quite disappointing as they were new glasses and I need them to see, and will require me to pay to fix them. The front desk manager was very nice and tried to help us but nothing came of it. So I would recommend this hotel but just make sure you leave absolutely nothing out, because if it gets damaged they won't take responsibility for it lol

Everything about the Arlo Nomad was amazing! The staff was always so nice and helpful, the views were breathtaking, the diner had a great breakfast. It being centrally located in Manhattan made getting places easy. 10/10 would recommend.

Initially we were placed in a different room. Walls were thin. Very noisy. Sink handle & toilet seat/dispenser were practically broken. We asked for another room & they graciously put us in another room. It was fine but there were yellow stains on the sheets. It’s a good hotel for solo travelers. Good location in koreatown. I wouldn’t recommend more than 1 person per room due to space issues.

Really friendly staff team. Rooms are small, but let's be honest, you are only there to sleep. Rooms are modern, extremely clean and functional with access to high speed Wi-Fi. Has a funky elevator call panel! Location is good - literally 5 minutes walk from Herald Square (Macy's etc), so extremely central. Would certainly recommend.

Perfect location with great views! 10 min walk from Penn Station & Madison Square Garden! 5 min walk to the Empire State Building and 15 min ride to Central Park. I will only stay here from now on out! Perfect for a couples getaway and the King Sky View room was breathtaking!!! 10/10

Very modern, updated rooms. Small but roomy enough for a couple. Me and my wife stayed for one night for a very good price. The rooftop vibes and drinks were real nice, real great views of the city. We also had breakfast at the nomad diner, food was very good, but a bit pricey considering we had a 20% discount. Overall would definitely like to stay here again or other arlo hotel in the city.

This is an elegantly appointed boutique hotel with an amazing staff that is more than accommodating. It has nice pieces of art throughout it’s entirety, a nice straight to the point coffee bar, a diner with tasty food and delicious (and definitely not your typical) cocktails. Rooms are midtown modern and straight to the point with all you need. The corner rooms are highly recommended for the surrounding views will encourage you to capture and share some (if not all) of your memorable photos.

Shout out to Maryna and Mike at the Diner Bar, I missed my rooftop sunset because I was having the best time thanks to their amazing service and kindness. Speaking of the rooftop, it’s also incredible: Empire State right in front, great overall views, and exactly the kind of NYC vibe you hope for.
