The property itself was very good and parking underneath made it easy. The kitchen was good except for the oven not working. Also the front door was pretty hard to close without slamming.

I was very happy with my apartment, it was easy to get to and a good walk into the CBD which I prefer. I liked the secure parking and easy internal access to my apartment. I couldn't get one of the burners to work on the hob and the extractor fan didn't work but they were the only minor issues.

The apartment itself was spacious and quite modern. The street was fairly quiet. Staff were very pleasant. Air conditioning units didn’t work (maybe dead batteries??). Bed wasn’t very comfortable & pillows were awful. No hair dryer in the room - managed to track one down from another apartment. No dishwasher. Sleep was limited due to a consistent rumbling sound all night… seemed to be some kind of ventilation system noise but couldn't track down where it was coming from. The ad said parking available onsite - but neglected to mention an extra $28/day charge. Sneaky and misleading. Asked for late checkout, but again an extra $25 charge for one hour. Personally I wouldn’t stay here again. If you do stay at Zappeion, it’s worth noting that checkin is not onsite. You need to go to a different address to check in before you go to the apartments. Not the most convenient system really.

You check in at one place, then have to walk 500 metres+ to the actual apartments. Apartment floors are pretty dirty. Lift didn't work - good luck if you're on the fourth floor.

Ccurrenly undergoing much needed upgrading and renovation. Poorly equipped sitting room, balcony and kitchen, cuttlery and china/glasses missmatched and poor IKEA standard. Carpets stained and dirty in halls and apt. Door to room faulty and difficult to open and close, cleaning staff left open accidently on two occasions. Security same absent. Poorly cleaned and maintained but hopoefullywilll improve after renovations.

Condition of the furniture was very poor. We had to uses towels on the chairs as the vinyl was that bad it hit to sit on. Carpets stained. Faulty power points. Blown light bulbs. Dust everywhere. Dishwasher removed. We had to rewash the dishes to use them. Piles of rubbish just left in the carpark. The beds were the only good thing… For the price, definitely not worth it. I would not recommend.

Location is great, unfortunately that was the best i can say about this place. Oven didnt work. A handyman was sent to check it out. Place was dirty, carpets atrocious. Two ladies came out, who were very nice To be fair, I declined their assistance. A request for the carpets to be cleaned was denied. Ac worked thank goodness as i was there for three weeks in March. It was awfully hot.

Disappointing for four reasons: (1) We arrived to find no reception and had to travel to a different hotel to get the key. (2) Hotel very dated. Holes in the dining chairs, stained carpets, dirty showers, random holes in the wall. (3) Room was incomplete, e.g. no sponges or rags for the kitchen, no rubbish bin in the kitchen. (4) They charged our credit card three days before we arrived when the booking said it would be processed on-site, which led to some confusion. We raised some of these issues and we're told it was Expedia's fault for not communicating to us, so not much accountability from the hotel itself. Other that that, it was fine (beds were relatively comfortable, location is pretty good). But we wouldn't stay again.

The place is DISGUSTING!! Stains all over the carpet, stains on the walls! Couch was wrecked and filthy, the man hole was missing, there was no lid on the bun, the tap in kitchen was broken, the shower was filthy and broken. I was there 7 nights and they didn’t clean the room once and I paid to dollar! They only called me to get my ID then they wouldn’t answer the phone every day I called. I travel for work every week and this was the worst most disgusting place I’ve ever stayed at!! It’s actually that bad it’s not healthy! Fix the rooms and clean them to make them liveable!!!!!! YUK!!!!

The receptionist was far to busy speaking in a foreign language to her friends to fail to tell me when the bond was going back into my account and made me feel rushed out and like she couldn’t be bothered. When entering the property the carpets were absolutely filthy along with the dovet that had yellow stains on it, there was a loud on off droning noise coming from the balcony right next to the bedroom window, let us have all but four hours sleep. The water in the shower was absolutely freezing.To pay over $250 for one night for this is absolutely atrocious and we won’t be going back or recommending anyone else to go.

The property was quiet and peaceful, and the staff I had contact with could not have been more helpful and pleasant. My only complaint with my room (room 003) was that the reading lamp alongside the bed did not work, the handbasin in the bathroom took a LONG time to drain, and the coffee cups in the kitchen cupboard needed a good clean. (One is now very clean - I washed it) Housekeeping should check these every day.

Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was quite disappointing. Although my booking was for six people, the room provided only had one large bed and two single beds. When I raised the issue with the receptionist, I was told a solution would be provided, but no follow-up ever came. As a result, I had no proper place to sleep and ended up on the couch, which was uncomfortable and had an unpleasant smell. The room itself also carried a noticeable odor. This made the stay very difficult, especially as I needed to drive a long distance the following day. Overall, the lack of support from the staff and the poor room condition left a very negative impression.

If your e ever going to text positive for Covid ., this is the place you would want to be staying. I was checking out and I pissed tested positive. Needless to say I was in a major stress mode the girls down at the reception absolutely brilliant they took action immediately and everything was done such a professional manner I very much appreciate the patience that was shown to me during my state of panic. Ann unusual review but probably more common in the future with the way the world is now. I thought it very relevant to post this review for those that are concerned about travelling in 2022 .. is that the staff of Zappeion apartments will take a personal approach to any problems that might arise. Even COVID .

Disappointing for four reasons: (1) We arrived to find no reception and had to travel to a different hotel to get the key. (2) Hotel very dated. Holes in the dining chairs, stained carpets, dirty showers, random holes in the wall. (3) Room was incomplete, e.g. no sponges or rags for the kitchen, no rubbish bin in the kitchen. (4) They charged our credit card three days before we arrived when the booking said it would be processed on-site, which led to some confusion. We raised some of these issues and we're told it was Expedia's fault for not communicating to us, so not much accountability from the hotel itself. Other that that, it was fine (beds were relatively comfortable, location is pretty good). But we wouldn't stay again.

Loved the location, super convenient to Northbridge restaurants and bars. We arrived after hours and the instructions were easy to follow. Only downside was no sachets of milk for an evening cuppa or morning coffee… but excellent options 400m away!! Would recommend!!

I was very happy with my apartment, it was easy to get to and a good walk into the CBD which I prefer. I liked the secure parking and easy internal access to my apartment. I couldn't get one of the burners to work on the hob and the extractor fan didn't work but they were the only minor issues.

I liked how quiet it was and that it wasn't too far from the city, only around a 20 minute walk.

The apartment itself was spacious and quite modern. The street was fairly quiet. Staff were very pleasant. Air conditioning units didn’t work (maybe dead batteries??). Bed wasn’t very comfortable & pillows were awful. No hair dryer in the room - managed to track one down from another apartment. No dishwasher. Sleep was limited due to a consistent rumbling sound all night… seemed to be some kind of ventilation system noise but couldn't track down where it was coming from. The ad said parking available onsite - but neglected to mention an extra $28/day charge. Sneaky and misleading. Asked for late checkout, but again an extra $25 charge for one hour. Personally I wouldn’t stay here again. If you do stay at Zappeion, it’s worth noting that checkin is not onsite. You need to go to a different address to check in before you go to the apartments. Not the most convenient system really.

Nice little apartment however checking in off site was a pain. Apartment was clean and tidy however couldn’t have visitors to the apartment without risking a $200 fine. No hairdryer, no power points beside bed and very poor tv reception with no Foxtel. Minimal kitchen equipment for food prep and no dishwasher. No extra blessing either. Quiet area, easy access to transport.

Great location. Great layout however the room needs the carpet deep cleaned. Furniture has seen better days both on balcony and internal lounge and dining.
