Schön, dass es Fahrräder gibt! Allerdings müssen diese gewartet werden, Bremsen schlecht. Sattel kaputt und nicht verstellbar. Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstück gut.

Loved this place and all the hanging plants and birds flitting around. Beautiful room, comfy bed and a very warm welcome from the staff who all remember the guests names. The pool is small but refreshing and it’s got free deckchairs on the beach too. Breakfast is excellent - choice of any drink, any item off breakfast menu PLUS full buffet too.

I stayed 2 nights at Akana to recover my batteries before leaving Bali. The hotel is a small boutique hotel in the luxury segment. My room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The pool was right outside my room and had a nice cool temperature in the Bali heat. The restaurant have great food and entertainment with a nice vibe. You can also borrow a bike from the hotel to explore the Sanur Beach walk. Great location within walking distance from the beach (the hotel also has its own beach club). If you're looking for a luxury retreat in Sanur, I highly recommend staying at Akana.

Ein sehr schönes und modernes Hotel. Die Miarbeiter sind freundlich und machen einem den Aufenthalt mit aufmerksamen Kleinigkeiten zu etwas ganz besonderem (z.B. kleine Kunstwerke aus Handtüchern gebastelt und nette "Guten Morgen Briefe"). Das einzige was etwas zu bemängel ist, ist die allgemeine Sauberkeit. Die Bettwäsche ist an manchen stellen schon sehr abgenutzt und vergilbt. Kleinere auffällige Flecken sind auch sichtbar. Die Sauberkeit des Geschirrs lässt leider auch etwas zu wünschen übrig. So sind die Gläser nicht immer ganz sauber/klar und auch die kleinen Teller am Frühstückbuffett weisen oft Flecken und massive Gebrauchsspuren auf. Für uns nicht weiter schlimm und soll lediglich den Leuten als Info dienen, doe großen Wert auf westliche Sauberkeit legen.

The cleanest place I stayed at during my 2 weeks in Bali. Staff was extremely helpful and very polite. Personally, I rate this better than a 5 star hotel I stayed at later on in Bali. I hope to stay again if I return as it was amazing. Highly recommend for the price!

This was our first stay at Akana but hopefully it won’t be our last. The hotel was excellent and certainly lived up to the wonderful reviews it has received. The room was large and very comfortable and well laid out. The bathroom was great with a large shower and plenty of hot water. The balcony of our room (#307) was nice for relaxing in the afternoon sun. The pool was very good and never too crowded - we always managed to find sun lounges when we were there. Breakfast was provided with our room and we always found something appealing and tasty on the menu. And finally the staff - everyone without exception was happy and smiling and making sure that our stay was a memorable one. AND IT WAS. Thank you everyone at Akana.

We stayed here for 9 nights and loved this hotel. It's a relatively small, well-run hotel, in a great location in Sanur. Everything is within walking distance. The hotel beach area is great and the pool area was great for cooling off. Breakfast had plenty of a la carte options plus a small buffet. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was spacious with everyhing we needed. My only comment would be that the pillows are very big and firm, it would be good to have another softer option for those that prefer it. Overall, great value for money.

Akana Boutique Hotel is a wonderful oasis located in the southern area of Sanur, Bali. Rooms are comfortable and well equipped and if there was anything needed, we were catered for. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff really made all the difference. Most addressed us by name and all went above and beyond. This is a gem of a place to stay.

The Akana had everything we needed, very comfortable bed, soft towels, spacious room overlooking the pool, good bathroom, and good service. The hotel is in a quiet area of Sanur with restaurants and Warungs in easy walk of the hotel. It is a 5 to 10min walk to the beach depending on which road you take. There are also many small shops and a medium size supermarket in easy walk from the hotel. Overall a very pleasant stay with everyone at the hotel making it memorable.

The staff is very nice, and the property is lovely. This area is noisy and smelly if you’re sensitive to that. Too much smoking, exhaust, and other smells. But the hotel itself is wonderful, walking distance to the beach, and best of all, more vegan and vegetarian choices than I saw anywhere else. And they were delicious.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, Zimmer im super Zustand, tolle Frühstücksauswahl (kleines Büffet a la carte) Einzig der Weg zum Strand ist etwas umständlich, ca 8 Minuten zu Fuß, und Gezeiten beachten, ärgerlich wenn dann gerade Ebbe ist😁Fahrräder werden kostenfrei vom Hotel zur Verfügung gestellt.Das Personal und die Sauberkeit ist spitze.

Ontbijt niet goed en niet lkkr, allemaal volle borden terug. Meeste gasten zaten in de zaken erom heen te ontbijten daarna. Koffie filter en Americano uit espresso machine beide niet lekker. Hotel kan een kleine kleur make-over gebruiken is erg grauw allemaal. Personeel doet zijn best!

Many aspects of the Akana Boutique Hotel were amazing. The great staff, room and location. The food , however wasn't so good. The prices are reasonable but hot dishes are never hot, pizza was absolutely so bad we threw most of two pizzas in the bin and the theme night bbq was a joke. Total disorganisation along with indifferent food. Could be great but not nearly there yet.

Ticks so many boxes as other people have note.Food was very ordinary. Despite a reasonably wide selection at breakfast, the so called hot food was mostly cold. The Thursday bbq was an exerting mismanagement from lost booking, the taking of the orders Indifferent quantity. Pizza ordered for room service was worse than horrible. In future stays we will opt for quality hotels that can deliver on promises.
