Nice place, had indoor pool, pool table, bar, outdoor fire pit with cornhole setup. Lots of fun on the property and also plenty to do in the area. Only negative was vehicle noise from intersection right outside the room window and no free breakfast.

We booked last minute online once we got to Newport. Check in was easy. Staff friendly. Parking ($15) and hotel fee ($75) was additional to room charge, which wasn't a problem, just wished it was listed on the website. Room was amazing. Comfortable beds with plenty of pillows. Room darkening curtains kept light out. Very clean and modern. Only complaint was the sink is definately for anesthetic purposes and not function! When brushing teeth no water pressure. The whole hotel was super clean. Updated. We utilized the pool and workout room. There is also a bar and lounge area, with a pool table. Small breakfast area (breakfast is not included in hotel stay). There are also seating areas and desk area for work, if needed. This was a short walk to Newport on the Levee. Definately would stay here again!

The staff was great. It’s within walking distance to food, shopping, and entertainment. The parking garage is great. The bathroom sink was stopped up. The pool was gross and cloudy. The rug coming into the lobby is a tripping hazard.

It was an excellent stay tho I will say that the pool deck was dirty from folks walking on it and the water seemed a bit murky but I’m sure that’s always a trouble spot. Good stay. Will recommend.

Parking garage was hard to find. There is a garage directly under the hotel but no signs telling you that it's not the right one. The pool was also very cold. Room was small with no seating other than a single desk chair. Otherwise it was all just ok.

We chose this location because of the positive star reviews and our experience was not horrible, but not great either. The hotel location is good (lots of street noise if that bothers you). Lots of restaurants and things to do nearby, which is why we chose this area as opposed to downtown Cincinnati, which can be pretty chaotic. The self-parking was affordable, at $10 per day which is less than half of nearby daily public parking. My husband used the gym because it was too rainy and windy to run outside and he said it was fine. The negatives: The whole place was kind of dirty. Outdated, worn and stained furniture in the common areas. In our room, when we entered, it reeked of weed, but that kind of dissipated once we got the heater going, which was LOUD, SO LOUD. My biggest problem though was the nasty bathroom. The floors were dirty and the tile grout in the shower was covered in mold. We've stayed in public campsites that had cleaner showers. I wished I would have had shower shoes for this one. The towels were worn and dingy. It just seemed like there was not a ton of care put in. Won't stay there again, and will probably avoid other Alofts in the future as well.

The room could use some work. The mattress was a little hard to me. The floor looked dirty. The coffee pot was dirty and unusable. Would have been fine but they didn't have coffee in lobby either. Have stayed here before and each time there's a decline.

Overall, we had a very nice one night stay. The only big issue was that my sister-in-law had a stain on her sheet on her bed (see photo) we are going to reach out to the manager and Hotels.com about it but if looks like it was blood. Not what I would have expected for this hotel as everything else as clean and well maintained. The swimming pool was awesome and our king size bed was very comfortable. We did have a shade that was broken on one side but it still covered most of the window and allowed very little light in during the night while we were asleep. My wife enjoyed using the stand up shower and the safe and coffee maker worked perfectly for me.

Good location to the Levee. Rooms are small for the price. No real place to sit but the bed. Dark overall. Dust about 1” thick on bathroom shelves and mirrors dirty. Rooms had an odd smell. Very noisy, can hear next rooms like there isn’t a wall.

Staff were all very pleasant, bar drinks and tender were fantastic (i reccomend the espressomartini with Buffalo Trace). The room was clean and one of the comfiest hotel beds and pillows I've ever had. Walls are thin, so we heard everything in the hallway, but it wasn t unbearable

The property was designed well and looked cool,but actually left a lot to be desired. For the price we paid and the look of the hotel you expect way more. There was 1 person checking people in,but that wasn’t the bad part,the bad part was the person wasn’t only checking folks in,she was also ringing purchases from the “snack area” taking orders for the “breakfast window” and she was the bartender. After getting to our room ,we realized there were no towels in our room. Called the front desk to request some and was told we had to go down and get them. You could hear other guest walking around in the room above us,and bathroom doors slamming (barn style slide doors) sounds different from regular doors when it slides into the wall. And hear people/kids running down the hall and talking like they’re inside the room. We stayed for the purpose of walking to the ballpark which was perfect,but honestly was not impressed with the hotel itself. Dont plan on staying again,especially with the amount we paid for 1 night.

The staff were very helpful and always nice. The rooms were clean and right next to everything. The downside is that the hotel is behind a condo building so you can't really see the city or the river, there are no microwaves in the rooms and the coffee maker in our room had calcium build up from the water.

Great staff. Room was small and beds were firm. Layout and amenities were nice. Decent size mini fridge. The shower had amazing water pressure! Very clean place and very friendly staff. Safe & Secure rooms and entry points.

Great location. Close proximity to restaurants and entertainment. Easy walking access to the bridge to Cincinnati. Only drawback was the bathroom light lit up half the room if you needed to use the bathroom in the middle of the night.

Close to everything. Walked to the aquarium and most food destinations. Only recommendations would be the following. They do have breakfast for additional charge. Parking is convient. But you have to pay an extra fee. 1. The tv. Channel guide does not match and many channels to not work. 2. The bathroom light situation. Its all or none. Which woke me up many times. 3. Bathroom door. Does not latch and very loud. 4. No microwave in room.

The Aloft was a very nice modern hotel. The hotel was clean and very pleasing visually. The TV worked but the guide didn’t. You had no clue what channel was what. That seems like an easy fix that needs made. Plenty of restaurants around plus we were a 15 minute walk to Heritage Bank Center for the Kiss show. Overall if I’m back for another show I’m staying at the Aloft

Pretty much our whole experience was awful, starting elevators not working had to walk up stairs to enter and they were located outside of the building, the walls are very thin you can hear everything in the hall and outside, receptionist was very rude when we called to find out the programming on tv didn’t line up with what it stated was on. Was told to just flip through all the channels until we found the game!! The pillows were bad made my neck kinked all weekend and made me have a major headache.

The stay was fine. Checking in and out was easy. The reason my review is 1 star is for their lack of assistance to rectify their mistake. The charges me twice for the room, the exact same amount almost a week between the charges. I was charged the Sunday I checked in, and also the following Saturday. I have called the hotel, as has my wife, multiple times. They keep insisting they will call us back to figure out the problem and have not once. I am currently working with my bank to try and get the funds that were stolen from me back. I hate it because it is a nice hotel, but do not risk staying here is you expect any help resolving issues like this that may arise.

The staff was fantastic. The room was clean. My only concern was I didn’t see a fridge so I didn’t take my leftovers because I didn’t think I could store them. Little did I think to look under the sink in the bathroom as the fridge was located there. The location was great and I appreciated having parking on site. Breakfast in the morning was so good. Would definitely stay again.

Check in was quick and easy. Upon entering our room, we found it had not been cleaned/turned over. After contacting the front desk staff, we were immediately moved into a new room, accompanied by staff to the room, and it was fixed with little delay. I hated we had this hiccup, but they happen, and when they do, they should be handled with the expediency and class with which this staff member handled themselves. Top notch customer service. The facilities were pretty great too.

The customer service was sub-par. Arrived at 4:30 (Check-In time is 4:00 PM) Huge line which was to be expected given there were several big events happening around the area, waited 20 mins to only be told that there was no rooms ready [When i had to be at a wedding in an hour, and drove an hour to be able to get ready there.] If you know you're sold out for the night, bring extra house keepers in so that people can keep their schedules as planned. The Employee was extremely rude about the situation and frankly didnt care.

We were in town for a Reds game & ended up here because it was last-minute & everything else was booked or crazy expensive. We were pleasantly surprised. Cute & comfortable. Staff was super nice. Easy & pretty walk to GABP across the Purple People Bridge.

We stayed here for a little overnight trip to watch the Reds play, it’s in the absolute perfect location for families. We took the ferry to the game, which was about 5 mins from the hotel. The next day we walked across the street to get lunch at Hofbrauhaus and then walked over to the aquarium. The hotel is beautiful, nice little pool area and we loved the floor to ceiling windows in our room. Super comfy beds too!

Room was great and friendly staff. Was surprised though that we had to pay an additional $15 to park in the hotel garage with no other viable parking option. Also do not expect a complimentary breakfast. While they serve breakfast it is made to order and also an additional charge.
