Das Alwadi ist eine Liga für sich! Top Lage, in Gehdistanz zum Souk aber auch zentral mit kurzen Fahrzeiten zu West Bay, Education City, Airport etc. Einzigartige Infrastruktur, ganz besonders zu erwähnen die Rooftop bar mit einmaliger Aussicht auf das Souk sowie die Skyline von West Bay. Die Zimmer sind sehr grosszügig eingerichtet, mit Nespressomaschine und Amenities von Occitane. Definitiv meine Adresse in Doha.

Great hotel, but communication needs improvement Alwadi Hotel Doha - MGallery is a great hotel in a nice area. The rooms are spacious and quiet, the breakfast is good, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. However, I was disappointed by the lack of communication regarding the pool maintenance. One of the main reasons I booked this hotel was for the pool, and I was not informed in advance that it would be closed. Better transparency on such matters would be appreciated. That being said, the hotel did try to compensate by offering me a late check-out until 5 PM and providing a pass to use the pool at a nearby hotel, which I appreciated. While this helped, clear communication beforehand would have made my stay even better.

Convenient location near tourist attractions, restaurants, supermarket, etc. Not sure if it is standard process. I was unable to charge room service to the room. Instead they wanted to charge my card in the room or cash to pay when the room service was delivered. Same with spa treatment. Be aware to head over for a massage with your money

Spotlessly clean, staff so friendly and helpful. The hotel itself has excellent facilities, comfortable and spacious bedrooms, and a lovely pool area with cafe. Good restaurants to choose from plus rooftop bar with a view to die for. Comfortable luxury in a great location close to Souq Raqif, National Museum and Dhow boats. Metro less than 10mins away. We will definitely visit again, thank you for a memorable stay.

Excellent hotel in a great location. The hotel is located opposite the Souk. The bedrooms are big and quiet. The amenities are good. The hotel is stunning. The pool is big. They have a roof top bar with a DJ every night. The staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. We managed to get a late check out. The hotel staff were really accommodating and flexible. The restaurants and bars are great. Alcohol is expensive but we were lucky to have some being in a country where alcohol is banned. Excellent hotel

Hotel was very clean and spacious and in good location near Sooq market. Room was large with plenty of space to accommodate 3 of u. We had breakfast on 2 days which was fantastic with good selection of items. Overall hotel was excellent value for money.

The place was immaculate. The male staff dress code was excellent. The female dress code of mini skirts with slits did not reflect the decency of the hotel; on the contrary. It is very very shameful it made the hotel atmosphere incredibly cheap especially when their legs were crossed

Great hotel in an excellent location. Wonderful sleep in the king bed so comfortable and excellent pillows. Room was spacious and so was the bathroom. The shower was wonderful. All the staff wemade contact with were excellent, so friendly and helpful. Syed needs special mention who provided friendly professional service , Bernard who delivered our bags was a so friendly and helpful. The concierge team were excellent.

Positives: Excellent access to Souq Waqif. Rooms / facility are modern yet spacious, clean, and comfortable. Negatives: 1) Breakfast buffet, while convenient, is a bit limited. Salad leaves were wilted. Coffee beverages were all prepared like a mocha. 2) No heating in the room: this matters if you are sick and want the room warmed up. The only option is to turn the A/C off.

My stay here was perfect. Check in was straight forward and the room was amazing. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff there were so helpful and never stopped smiling. Another amazing person at this property is Kashaka, the lifeguard at the pool area! He did everything he could to look after me and my pregnant wife, an asset to the hotel. Would recommended this hotel to all visiting Doha!

The service of the front desk is extremely sloppy. whenever i ask for a service they take a very long time to come and attend my request, starting from the room service and housekeeping to the bell boy to take my luggage. whenever i complain, they reply we are sorry for that but no action taken after that and i remain waiting for another long time.

My stay did not start very well. I had booked the airport shuttle pick up , given i was arriving late at night. The driver showed up 45mins late. I was very kindly assisted by qatar airline airport staff member. He called the hotel several times and was advised yes , the driver is on his way he will be 5mins etc. He called again and again long story short he forgot to collect me from the airport and ldod not take accountabilty of the lateness..!! He did not greet me or make any conversation i had to ask why he was late ! He did not respond. The airport shuttle is third party and it requires thr hotel to have a conversation about the non service!! When i finally did arrive i was greeted by 2 kind welcoming gentlemen, Sayed and i forgot the ither gentleman's name sorry. They kindly upgraded my room. The room was nice spacios with corniche view. They were very apologetic for the messup. The next morning i was met by Sayed who agian apologised and really made my stay wonderful, the guy in the breakfast restaurant Rad, was welcoming and kind. Service with a smile!! The team really made up foe the mishap from last night!! I will while heartedly recommend this wonderful hotel and its the AMAZING KIND TEAM that make it a wonderful stay. Thank you!!

Solid hotel on all levels and great value. Lots of quality small details everywhere and great staff. Perfect location near the hub of all three metro lines and simple walk to the historic markets. The neighborhood is amazing well designed for the climate making it comfortable to walk around even when it was 34C / 95F. Wish more of the gulf region was like this!

Hotel was amazing. Only 1 little niggle. We were on halfboard option and they only off 5 main coures and 1 night they had no desserts. Staff were hit and miss in Cila restaurant. Maybe offer something in other restaurant too

2 night stay with 3 young kids. Good room size (we had the executive family room). The property was generally immaculate. Convenient for the Souk Waqif and walkable to the Corniche (in the evening). Staff were attentive and responsive; reception and concierge. Breakfast was excellent as you would expect at this level, buffet and semi a la carte. There is a but - the default half board option was disappointing but in our case, after the first night, the hotel remedied the issue very quickly (within 20 min of raising the issue) by allowing us to use a different restaurant on the 2nd night (O'Glacee restaurant) - the default option (CILA restaurant) was a limited a la carte menu, no children friendly options, and the food itself was not great (although Shish taouk (main) and the Creme Brulee (dessert) were good) - together with our wider group we tried almost everything possible. Portion sizes were bigger than expected and that appeared to be the case in Doha more widely - coming from the UK. Late checkout was allowed without any fuss. I would return.
