The Falstaff Ramsgate

We only saw one member of staff who was friendly and cooked a lovely English breakfast and that was what stopped me from writing a terrible r review… The condition of the B&B is really poor, rotten window frame that didn’t close, uncomfortable bed, extension leads hanging from a tv that only had 1 channel…I won’t comment what was in the shower tray but I didn’t use it…

Great staff at at every turn.. Nicely restored room with very comfortable bed and, slightly surprisingly, top quality linen and towels. Central position in a wonderful period areaareaateaRamsgateRRamsgate.

Room clean. No wardrobe though. Shower was a bit of a nightmare- leaking - so sprayed out from behind the shower head and the holder to attach to the wall loose so no good if you want to keep your hair dry. Breakfast a bit underwhelming. Choice of a few cereals, toast 1 type of cheese and 2 types of cooked meat- none of it labelled so ended up taking stuff I didn’t like. Croissant was nice but no choice of jams etc. the pub runs a cafe and offers cooked breakfast but this is not an option if you stay in the b&b. Hubby was disappointed. Digital security lock to get access to the property was worn, difficult to use and set at knee height- Not the best. But the pub is on a lovely road, and even though we stayed on a weekend there was no road noise and no noise disturbance from the pub. It’s a very short walk to the town centre and the staff gave us good tips about nice local restaurants and the great local bus service

I had a wonderful stay here. The staff were extremely friendly and always ready to help whenever I had a question. The location is great, very convenient and close to everything I needed. Overall, it’s a cozy place in a perfect spot, and I would definitely recommend it

I loved my stay here! Such a beautiful room, so comfortable and the included breakfast was perfect to start the day. I feel everything needed was provided and the staff were very considerate, friendly, and happy to help with anything. Definitely would recommend!
