Winíka Alterra is a small, family owned hotel and resort. The property consists of eleven private cabins. They’re very well maintained and with all the amenities. The staff is very helpful, accommodating, and detailed oriented. All the meals were delicious, fresh, and locally sourced-made from ingredients found at the hotel’s on site farm. (They even make their own chocolate which is used in the duck mole, desserts, or served hot). The beds and bedding are very comfortable, The quiet, jungle environment makes for a restful stay. Our only suggestion would be to invest in entertainment options during rainy days, such as a ping pong table, card games, or family friendly board games.

Beautiful property with great staff and great food (all grown/raised on-site). It's a perfect home base for exploring Chiapas and the Palenque area. Would highly recommend.

Las habitaciones son confortables, tiene lo básico ten en cuenta que defiende la sostenibilidad, si no tienes inconvenientes con bichos en su hábitat lo vale. No tienen alimentos y al estar a las afueras de palenque es un inconveniente aunque si la privacidad y alejamiento del ruido son prioridad merece la pena.
