Super 8 by Wyndham Beaumont I-10 College St

It was difficult to park our u haul truck and there was a lot of construction going on. Breakfast was terrible.

The hotel was somewhat clean but the bad odor in the entire hotel was very awful and there's no elevator. The outside was not clean and had unhoused individuals hanging on the outside. The two gentlemen at the service desk were friendly and helpful. I do not recommend this hotel. The

This was my second time staying here and the difference was INSANE. I stayed in 2023 and the room was nice and clean and everything went very well. This time I was going into town to visit family and to spend spring break with my kids and we got there and the pool was green and filthy and "Closed for maintenance" so prior to checking in I reached out to Hotels.com the customer service rep I spoke to was very kind and tried to get me a refund since most of the reason I chose this location is because of the pool but the hotel owners refused to give me a refund and I was told by the customer service rep I was working with that it would take 72 hours for my case to be reviewed and then another 72 to issue the refund which is almost a full week! The WHOLE time I was in town for. without a refund I couldn't afford to just make another reservation at a different hotel and I was already in town and we had to stay somewhere so I went and checked in when I gave the lady at the front my name for the reservation she said "Oh, the one who tried to cancel." under hear breath, I said "excuse me?" and she slid me my card, told me my room number and said we would have to be in a smoking room because they "ran out" of non smoking. I said ok and went up stairs and the room looked like it hadn't been cleared yet. There where hand prints on the mirror and cigarette ashes in the window, there was more issues but I'm running out of room. the point is I was highly disappointed this time.

I selected this property because it was one of only 2 hotels I found in Beaumont who would permit me to bring my 4 dogs. Many other hotels had a 2 dog maximum. The room was quite nice, clean, modern and nicely appointed with in-room amenities. The breakfast set up was pretty decent. The only hot food choice was a waffle maker with fresh batter. That was my choice and it was yummy. My suggestion to them is to have doors to close off the hallway to the wing of the hotel that had the smoking rooms because that smell permeated the hallway of the non-smoking area. My room did not have a smoke smell, but walking through the hallway was awful. It totally wreaked of nasty cigarette smell and the heavy smell of skunk weed. So a heavy doorway to close off that wing of the hotel would be very nice. I'm not familiar with the location, but it was right on I-10 and the entrance was confusing. When you get off the interstate, the only way to access the property is to enter through the Valero gas station. It's odd that this property doesn't have its own dedicated entrance.

When I walked through the front door I noticed the lock was completely missing. There was a very bad odor along with the smell of smoke. There’s no elevator to access the second floor. Some of the lights & the tv didn’t work in the 1st room so I was put in a new room. I was there Monday-Friday & they never made the bed or changed the sheets. Even though there’s a card in the room that suggest if you want clean bedding leave the card on the bed which I did every morning. I even spoke directly to the manager who informed me that they only change the bedding on Monday Wednesday & Friday, but on Wednesday no new sheets. The same manager told me he would make sure it was done Thursday morning. On Thursday evening still no new bedding. When I spoke to the other manager she informed me that “she would talk to them about it”. The floors are tile so you can see the stains & hairs left from previous customers that remained there until I checked out on Friday morning. They only changed out the towels & the trash bag. They never actually cleaned the room. The bedding also had cigarette burns in them. It was atrocious. The breakfast they claimed to offer consisted of a waffle maker, old stale cereal, and white bread for toast. The fitness room had three machines & absolutely none of them worked. This place masquerades as a hotel but is very much a seedy motel & I don’t understand why Travelocity had them listed on their site as a reputable hotel. I will never book with Travelocity again.

The television in our room didn’t work, so we had to pack up and move to another room. The ice machine on our floor didn’t work either.

The pool looked green but i wasn't going to swim anyway. The entry driveway is confusing because it looks like the entrance for the gas station next door. It is the only driveway for rhe property. To exit there is dangerous because it merges with the end of the U-turn under the freeway, the end of the left turn yield, and the gas station exit. There is room for a driveway on the other side of the parking area so entering and leaving the property is easier and safer. Overall the stay was pleasant.

Love staying here the staff is so nice and bed are very comfortable also great breakfast in the morning and huge swimming pool!

Bathroom issues. Towels had a smell the smell you get when they're not properly dried. Shower curtain torn. Used soap left behind in shower . Bedding not what I expected for price paid.

If I had seen the room before paying for it, I wouldn’t proceed with the booking! The carpets are smelly and old. The bedroom wall is broken. Bathtub curtain is dirty. Chair is torn.

Not good at all. It was dirty and the staff was very rude and quick to blame me for their inconsistnces . The air vent was a fire hazard the phone was disgusting ashes everywhere in a non smoking room fake finger nails in the floor. Unknown yucky on the light shade. Floors were dirty. Freezer was froze over. When brought to the hotel they treated me like I'm the problem. I was just trying to help them. Because their room was the problem their lack of cleaning and sanitizing

Wasn’t very clean, they said had breakfast but only waffles, bananas, toast or cereal. I’ve stayed at many hotels over the years and this was sad when you say breakfast and they have a few items you call it continental breakfast. The pictures made the place look new and updated but that was not the case.

You get what you pay for, so I can’t be that disappointed. However, I expect a clean room even if it’s dated. The artwork has gunk on it, a candy bar wrapper laid beside the night stand, sans the hair in the bath tub was not mine

I will never even in a live or die situation even so much as think about staying there again. The moment I opened the room door I was already disappointed from the old stale smell that hit my nose as the door opened. Once I walked into the the room and looked to the left on the wall was an uninvited guest (roach). Less than 5mins in another came out to greet me so I left. I didn't even stay for the room I payed for.

This was the worst hotel in which I have ever stayed. The staff isn’t very friendly. The mold/mildewy smell in the air was unsettling. The hotel needs a renovation. Wyndham should not have put their name on this property. It wasn’t at all what I expected from a Wyndham hotel.

Bathroom had black mold above tub. A hole in the wall behind the bathroom door. Entire room smelled musty. The ceiling above the bed looked like the plaster was going to fall. The only thing good was the price.

The halls smelled of urine. My sheets had what looked to be blood stains. The milk at breakfast was borderline spoiled.

It was hard to get to the property from the freeway and the charged a $50 deposit for the room and have not refunded it yet. The room had a old smell to it, wouldn’t recommend it to anyone

This was the third Super 8 we stayed in this week and it was by far the best of the bunch. The staff was professional and friendly. The room was satisfactory and clean although there was a break in the bottom of the sink.

It is older, a little worn but nice and quiet, comfortable and great for the price.

Be prepared to pay a deposit at check in on top of the regular rate. Facility was ok, prerty dated but, it qas ok for the price. Pretty loud as you can hear freeway traffic

Older property nice helpful staff

The staff was so rude from the moment you walk in till you check out. The place smells and the breakfast was cold. Never again!!!! Worse place ever!!!!

The front desk lady was rude and gave us a hard time before refunding our deposit. We will not be staying there again.

Was a really good stay, we had no issues here and the staff helped any time we needed it, the housekeepers missed one day of cleaning the room but i still am leaving a 5 star reviw, would stay agai

Service dog rules should be posted where customers can see. Staff should be trained on the difference so it is not confused. Staff should offer receipts when prompted instead of telling the customer to trust them they said they would refund your deposit when they get off the phone. Very rude. Night staff member should as nice and very well at explaining facility.

What you would expect from a 2 star. Indian run and owned so there was a language barrier which prevented us from getting the service we wanted. They entered our room when no service was expected and really only emptied the trash instead of full service.n

Horrible facility. The Manager kicked me and my child out, extremely hostile, rude, disgusting half cleaned bathrooms, rust in the showers No Television and to top it off The phones aren’t even hooked up. I got kicked out because I payed online through Expedia and got somewhat of a nice deal for two days. Well the manager insisted for me to pay an extra fee of $15 for early check in and I refused since I had already been checked in the day before. I refused to check out and check back in just to pay an extra fee. Why should I pay extra when I had already checked in at 12:50pm the day before. I truly thought that was highly uncalled for and I’ve never hear of a hotel manager charge extra and insist on trying to get me to check out and checked right back in when I had already stayed. The environment was fealty, dogs barking , rust in the bath tubs, tv that don’t work, dusty all over the furniture, rooms smelled like armpits and just to make you feel even more comfortable? The fact that you can’t used the phone that sits there for display. They didn’t even have a phone line to make or receive calls. Horrible I do not recommend

Close to restaurants easy freeway access price was reasonable.

Be prepared to pay a deposit at check in on top of the regular rate. Facility was ok, prerty dated but, it qas ok for the price. Pretty loud as you can hear freeway traffic

The room was fine but the sheet had a hole in it. There was not a good choice for breakfast.

This was probably a nice hotel in the 90’s. You can tell they are trying. The rooms have been semi refreshed lately. But the carpet was filthy and the tv never worked. The bathroom was only somewhat clean. The staff was very nice and quick to deal with any issues. The breakfast was minimal and decently presented. You have to have realistic expectations for a $50 a night hotel.

The breakfast food was little disappointing, brownies & mini cinnamon rolls were sat out on plate without a cover when no one was around. No small cups to use for waffles, had to guess how much to pour out of a coffee cup. Employees were very friendly, the rooms were very nice.
