This is not truly a hotel: rather, it is a house with a group of rooms which can be rented like a hotel, but remotely. There is no need to check in or out, and your room code is emailed to you before your stay. I wish, for those who prefer this arrangement, that Hotels.com would clearly identify such properties, so they could be screened for. One downside of this arrangement is that there is not always easy help if something goes wrong, but that was NOT the case for us. Aleksandra, the manager, was quick to fix the problem when Hotels.com did not forward us the room code she had sent them, the booking agent. Otherwise, the stay was delightful. Our room was beautiful - quaint but with modern amenities. It was clean, quiet and within easy walking distance to food, and shopping. I would highly recommend these rooms to anyone staying in Stow-on-the-Wold.

There’s no air conditioning and we couldn’t get our window open so the room was like an oven, we had to sleep with our door open all night. We were in room no4, avoid this room if its hot, also there’s only street parking which has a two hour limit up to 6pm then you can park all night with no issues.
