Crooked River Ranch Cabins

This is a great property, although kind of in the middle of nowhere. We stopped here for the night on our way to Bend from Portland via Silver Falls State Park. It's about 40 minutes from Bend, and 40 minutes from Sisters, which is a cute little old western town. Make sure to stop and explore, grab ice cream and groceries! The cabin had a beautiful covered deck which looked over the back of the property to the grassy area, golf course and mountains. There was a play structure for kids, and a couple corn hole games. The cabin was fully equipped with everything you would need to make your own meals (no stove) but there were 2 BBQ's outside for our use. There were 2 queen beds and a pull out sofa bed. A table for 4 plus table for 2 outside on the deck along with chairs to relax in. The bathroom had shampoo & body wash which was handy when travelling carry on only! There is a pool, but it's about 1/2 a mile down the road at the club house. It was nice to cool off in after such a hot day outside. There also appeared to be a couple little shops by the club house, but didn't see what they were. *bring your own towels for the pool, there was a note that you couldn't bring the ones from the bathroom. We loved our stay here with our kids (8-11 years). Enough to keep them busy running around outside. Communication was via text. It was timely and they answered questions very quickly! Would stay again!

Cute little cabin. Good heating in winter. Clean. The bed and bedding were comfortable. Good wifi. Just bring your own coffee maker and coffee. They have a level II EV charger, 32 amp.-3 to 5 mph charge.

The open space in the back area was so calming and full of nature. There were corn-hole games, gazebo, play area for children, picnic tables and plenty of spaces just to hangout. The view was fabulous and made for great photos opportunities. The room was huge, with a kitchen and full bathroom. Nestle in a valley with a view of Smith Rock.

Adequate. Basic accommodation, very tight parking, no accommodations for luggage, eating indoors. Requires that you wash dishes, no dish towels or extra towels provided. What did the visitors before you do? Great view and location, but will make a different choice next time.

Family of 6, was really nice to have so many beds to sleep the whole fam. Place was clean, grounds were nice, and the pool down the road was a good time. It was easy to connect and communicate with the host. Only suggestion would be to have some newer cookware

Off the beaten track, this is a beautiful, quiet setting for very nice cabins. Loved that our name was on the little chalkboard as we walked in, and everything was provided for our comfort. Clean, organized, and pleasant, even with a play structure and corn hole games in the back. Loved it!

Really glad we chose to stay here. No fine print fees or cleaning fees. Beds comfortable and loved the sheets. Roomier than expected. The kids had the time of their lives chasing and playing with tumbleweeds. There was a large swath of desert scrubland behind the gazebo that the kids could explore. They joined up with other kids staying there to collect tumbleweeds and make them into a fort. Enjoyed drinking coffee and the excellent view of the canyon and desert from the large balcony, while still being able to keep an eye on the kids playing out in the scrub. The kids also loved seeing ground squirrels and bunnies (from a distance) burrowing on the property. Turned out to be a good thing that there was no pool access in March; the kids exploring nature instead was much more memorable for all. You may need to bring your own sugar for the coffee. My only real regret was that we did not have time to use the fire pit.

What a pleasant surprise. The place is wonderful. We had a full floor and a huge balcony overlooking the local volcanic mountains. We immensely enjoyed staying there. Unfortunately it was only for one night. We will correct this the next time. The swimming pool is remote though, you have to take the car and beware that they have no place where to change. They told you to go to the public restrooms which are disgusting. So change at the hotel. The pool is managed by another facility, not Crooked River Ranch Cabins

We really enjoyed our brief stay at Crooked River Ranch Cabins. Our only disappointments were that the river isn’t as close or accessible as it appears to be on the website, and that there isn’t a pool on site. Both river and pool can be driven to or walked to (but watch out for rattlesnakes in the summer!).

It’s a beautiful cabin, spacious and very clean

There were some spiders inside, but that’s to be expected for the location I think. No webs or anything. The coffee set up was not great. Should consider a new set up, maybe a press or something.

The cabin we stayed in was okay, but a little more effort to dust and clean the spider webs around top of cabinets and ceilings would have been nice. I took it upon myself to remove the worst of it. Property was average but nice enough. Had a nice area for kids if you have them to play in. Otherwise it was what it was, if you are just looking for a place to sleep for an evening or so it's ok, but very small. Our 29.5ft travel trailer has more space and would have been more comfortable. We were just traveling to see a concert for an evening so didn't need to drag it behind us for the 5 hour trip to Bend. It did the job of providing a bed though the mattress could use a replacement. But it surficed for 2 nights.

The property was better than expected! The view was amazing, the unit was super clean, well kept and beautifully decorated with newer, modern touches that didn’t feel like you were staying in a dingy motel. Communication was clear and easy and they responded to us immediately.

We arrived to the overpowering smell of industrial cleaners and were shocked at how small the cabin is. Even more shocking was that THE TOILET IS IN THE BEDROOM! There is a sliding closet door with no wall above as the divider between the toilet and bedroom. There’s no privacy and no buffer zone from your travelling partner. From there, things kept getting worse: the refrigerator smelled like rotten meat; there’s nowhere to open your suitcase except the bed or loveseat; no side tables by the bed in the tiny room and the person on the far side of the bed has to crawl over the other person to get up; and nowhere to hang up your clothes. Hopefully you won’t need to use the in-wall HVAC unit because it’s as loud as a train! There’s no way to sleep with that thing running. The whole setup reeked of cheapness, from the tiny, paper thin bath towels to the ½ sponge you are given to wash your dishes. By the way, the tiny bathroom sink in the bedroom is where you’ll be washing them. We dared not use any of the dishes after finding a dead moth in the first drinking cup that we pulled out of the cupboard. If you want some coffee, there’s a mason jar with some ancient coffee beans in it. All you have to do is grind them, make some hot water and pour the hot water through a filter into your cup. How convenient! Overall it was probably the worst room I’ve ever stayed in and I felt like we had been deceived about what we were getting. You have been warned!

Very clean, great spacious room. Great deck, quiet, I would recommend it to any of my Friends or I would come back in a heartbeat.

One of the best places we've stayed, a great place to unwind and relax. The large room we stayed was very clean, and it shows how the owner and staff take care of this place with care with all the little details. The view from the deck patio was beautiful, and we enjoyed the star gazing at night from there.

very small cabin. good for overnight if you just need a bed. when you think cabin you think little kitchen, but only a microwave. no wifi. no hairdryer. poor directions on how to find it. it was comfortable to sleep there, quiet, served its purpose.

upstairs rooms have amazing views from their large balconies. Ours had a large bedroom/living room, a second bedroom and a large, fully equipped kitchen. It is a short drive to three dining/drinking options as well as the golf course. highly recommend.

Great price and beautiful location. Absolutely top notch with only one hiccup that was quickly resolved. We brought our dog but there was not a peep on how or when to pay the pet fee so we were confused when we arrived (late) and planned to resolve it in the morning. I guess we should have proactively reached out before we arrived since we got hit the next morning with a penalty charge. We called and they waived it this time so no worries but it was frustrating there was no communication from them in email, text or in the room about paying the fee. Other than this annoyance, it was great.

Check in was hassle free. Owners were on top of any questions or concerns. Property was way beyond expectations we would stay again.

The cabin was ver clean and super cute. Perfect for us and our pup. Please note there is a pet policy. Make sure to read it I didn’t and paid for it but that’s entirely on me. Dogs are not allowed on furniture or bed and of course my pup ran around outside got muddy and a little cut on her paw and first thing she did was jump on the bed. She ruined the sheet protecting the bedspread. Customer service was excellent. She called me when she was cleaning and let me know that she was sorry but she had to charge me for the bed sheet. Obviously my fault and felt it was completely justified! Overall it was great stay. Would stay again but maybe without my pup.

The onlyissue we had was the heat was not on when eearrived. The cabin was pretty chilly. Wasconfusedabout how to use thesystem, we called andgot it running. It took about 30 minutes to get to a comfortable place.

In such a beautiful and peaceful area. The grounds are well taken care of, and the check-in text is so smart. The cabins are so cute and thoughtfully put together. I’d definitely recommend this to friends!

We stayed in the lodge and it was perfect for us. We needed to work while we were there and the wi-fi was great. There was lots of space. It was easy to make meals as the kitchen had everything we could need. We enjoyed eating outside on our deck. The beds were comfortable. The communication was easy and we knew exactly what to expect when we arrived. We really enjoyed exploring the area.

There are several options for rooms that are all reasonably priced and we easily extended our stay for a night by texting the property manager and owner. She was responsive throughout our trip and answered messages within minutes! While there we found some local watering holes, hiked extensively and climbed at Smith Rock State Park all within easy driving distance. We will definitely be back to try the Ranch Cabins in the future.

Another great stay!! Love the convenience of the location. Meghan was extremely responsive and helpful when we needed to upgrade to a bigger space. We will definitely keep coming back.

Suites have a great view and a nice porch. Fine place with comfortable beds. The kitchen is minimal. 2 burner induction stove top and no oven or fan. No wine glasses, platters or larger bowls. Just fine if you don't plan on cooking much.

I loved the cute red mini fridge! We enjoyed the single cup brewed coffee. Nice to have dish soap/ sponge and even shower gels! Netflix on ROKU did not work, even after sign on with our account. Small counter space. No light over cooking area. Sink drained slow. Great place to visit!

Very basic cabin maybe 12x16 Provided pour coffee setup

Suite was updated and very clean! They even had coffee beans and a coffee grinder! We will be coming back for sure!!

Absolutely gorgeous views and very attentive and kind owners. Everything was wonderful except the coffee pot was clogged and we tried to clean it but were unable.

The room we stayed in was a large studio suite. We enjoyed using the kitchen and grill. My partner has food allergies so making our own food was a big plus. We would definitely stay here again.
