Very unique with unbelievable views of the bays. Staff is very friendly and helpful, housekeeping was right on the ball. We asked for extra pillows and got them in 5 minutes. Nice little restaurant attached to building. I think an ice machine in common area would be nice instead of asking restaurant for ice.

This was a great stay. Location and view could not be better. Parking is very limited and hotel is somewhat hard to find. But once you are there, wow! A small mom & pop motel but the room inside was modernized. We will definitely come back here.

Awesome place! Renovated sardine processing plant. Historic but totally redone. Only thing - no television, phone, or coffee maker in rooms! But what a view of the bay from your room. A common area for gathering with a full kitchen area, and coffee. Wonderful restaurant in hotel.

Beautiful bay view and room was very nice. They have updated an old industrial building to be a hotel. Biggest issue are the narrow roads leading to their location and limited parking options.

Small inn right on the ocean. Wonderful view from a perfectly adequate room. Restaurant often crowded but the overworked staff did a fine job of managing the flow -- and great food. Access to common room with a refrigerator, sink, dishwasher and stove.

The check in process was quick and pleasant. The rooms were very clean and we loved how they incorporated the original building into the new Inn. Loved being right on the bay. Great views! Dinner at the cafe next door was also very good. Loved the friendly feeling there. Parking was a little tight but able to park.

Beautiful views of the water. Parking was tough with cars at both restaurant and motel. Doesn’t appear you can walk into other areas of the town from the motel.

We loved the Inn on the Wharf. The rooms are very basic but clean and smell clean. The water in the shower was hot and so nice. We had a view of the water from our room which was spectacular. The rooms do not have mini fridges but there is a common room that has a full kitchen and refrigerator and you can label your food and keep it there. We cooked both dinner and breakfast in the kitchen. Fisherman’s wharf restaurant is attached to the Inn and had amazing seafood. Overall a great experience.

We rented the 2 bedroom - 2 bath apartment which is modern and has a fantastic view. After we checked in, I noticed that there was no coffee for the coffee maker, then I saw that the linen on the bed seemed like it had been slept-in so I pulled the covers and found several brown stains on the bedsheet. The bathrooms had not been cleaned and were disgusting, and the floor had not been vacuumed. I called the reception who promptly sent someone to clean the room properly and provide us with coffee. Also, be aware that there are no curtains, only blinds that do not close properly (one in one of the bedrooms could not be lowered because the string being defective), letting the light in very early in the morning. Another negative is the lack of television. Caution: check the beds and bath as soon as you check-in to make sure that they are clean.

The view was incredible. Service was good, I would suggest someone cleaning the bathrooms better - the grout was gross and mold was starting on the ceiling over the shower. add an end table by the couch.

I read the reviews and chose this property for its review. This inn was dirty. When we walked in the smell of cleaning chemicals was overwhelming but I don’t know why. I forgot my sandals so I walked barefoot. The floors are tile and they were so dirty that within 5 minutes my feet were black. That floor had never been washed. There were Cheerios and food wrappers under the bed from the last guests. The walls between rooms are so thin that you can hear the conversations around you. Not to mention the tv on all night. The decor is non existent in the rooms and the headboard wasn’t even attached. Every time you turn it banged the wall. We had to put towels to stop it. There isn’t an iron in the room and the hairdryer couldn’t dry a child’s thin hair. The cooler is out in a common area instead of in room. We were on a 16 day trip and this place was the trainwreck of our stay. We ate at the restaurant one night. It was understaffed. Just 2 servers. They didn’t have enough menus for all the tables so you needed to wait for someone to order to get your menu. The waitstaff were trying to be nice but they were on edge because they needed help. One of the waitstaff had to go in the kitchen to cook at one point. This place needs a lot of help.

We stayed in an apartment. There was an overwhelming musty smell from the moment we opened tge door. The toilet whistled loudly almost constantly unless the valve was shut off below. The sinks didn’t drain, one was blocked entirely. The tub faucet leaked constantly. The floor lamp flickered like in a haunted house. Dead mosquitoes were smeared on the walls and toothpaste on the dresser. Brown stain on the sofa. Spacious and a nice view, but didn’t make up for the incredibly poor cleaning and maintenance of the unit.

For anyone staying here, it’s a cute place with an amazing view. There are no televisions in the rooms. It was no problem for us, but was a surprise. Just know that before booking. Don’t plan on curling up and watching tv in your room.

Although the hotels.com site indicated that the room had kitchen, fridge, microwave, and coffeemaker, these were all in a shared area—not in the room. No TV or alarm clock. Regardless, we had a great view of the water, wharf, and ships. Th room was clean and the beds comfortable. Original art was wonderful.

Great stay! I feel like the rooms could use a little extra sound proofing but thankfully we had our white noise machine and didn’t have an issues. The big porches looking over the waterfront are very relaxing. The coffee machine in the room was a bit questionable and no creamer but thankfully the wharf is walkable and the food was incredible. Whomever is back there cooking is doing it right! We enjoyed our stay here, although it’s a very small neighborhood and everything closes by 8pm. It wouldn’t be our cup of tea to spend more than a night here as we’re driving through or maybe if you are doing a lot of hiking in Cutler and want a quiet peaceful night. Price was on the higher side for the 5 places we stayed driving up the coast. It’s odd that we paid more here than in Bar Harbor.

View was amazing. Great bed and furniture. The problem with the room was the very thin walls. We could hear every conversation in the two adjoining rooms. Every word. Bring earplugs. Otherwise it was a beautiful place. The common kitchen is very nice.

We had an amazing view right over the water from our room. A comfortable room. Restaurant attached to building serves decent food. No airconditioning! Thankfully we had our own fan to help circulate air in the room. The temperature does cool down nicely at night. No TV.

Wonderful location. We booked the king bed room with ocean view. The room had big windows overlooking the ocean. We had beautiful weather and a wonderful ocean smell. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The only reason I rated it a four instead of a five is the bed. It was atrocious. It's not a true king but two mattresses pushed together. They weren't even level so there was an uneven ridge in the middle. Both mattresses were hard and lumpy and the bottom was sagging when I checked under the bed to make sure we hadn't forgotten anything. I'd highly suggest the property invest in a new actual king bed. It's too bad because both my wife and I had pretty terrible sleeps but everything else about this motel was great.

Great location with a beautiful view. Easy walking to restaurants and for scenic views. The rooms are a bit dated and the bed was old and not comfortable. Needs some TLC. Friendly staff and lots of things to do in the area.

The check-in went well. Skyler was very nice. The Inn is well maintained, and clean. Our room was clean and comfortable. The sliding screen door was broken, so we reported it to Skyler. We did some laundry there and Eliana (I hope I spelled it correctly?) was very friendly and helpful. We ate at the restaurant for all our meals. The food was good, but the service was terrible. The servers were slow taking our orders and bringing our food and drinks. After the servers bring you the food, they never stop by the table again. We always had to flag one down to get more beverages, napkins, utensils, etc. The property needs to train their restaurant staff about customer service.

We reached Lubec at 8:30; All restaurants close early in this coastal town. Inn At the Wharf - made a salad for us even though the restaurant is closed. The staff is friendly and the views are amazing. Try to be there for the sunset and sunrise. Eastern most tip (West Quoddy Head Lighthouse is 3.5 miles away from this hotel.

Hotel is nice. Housekeeping staff was very friendly and helpful. There was one grouchy lady bartender/server in the restaurant. Easy walk to the small downtown and shore.

The room was as described. The morning view was as fantastic and a great view from our room and nearby. We arrived after hours but the staff communicated with us in advance and provided all necessary information to make for a seamless check. The room was clean and comforable as expected.

The check in process was quick and pleasant. The rooms were very clean and we loved how they incorporated the original building into the new Inn. Loved being right on the bay. Great views! Dinner at the cafe next door was also very good. Loved the friendly feeling there. Parking was a little tight but able to park.

Updated and spacious room overlooking the bay. Attached restaurant had delicious food, large lobster dinners. Property had a common room available to do your own cooking. Area also included sofas, multiple tables, amenities. Staff in office, restaurant, housekeeping extremely friendly. Convenient area to drive to Campobello Island, New Brunswick or take a sightseeing boat ride to see whales, porpoises, eagles, etc. Highly recommend this Inn.

We loved everything about this stay! An ocean view room speaks for itself. If you are old enough to remember the Newhart show, that's the vibe - friendly, comfy, safe, relaxed, restaurant just feet away, staff that checks in on you - it was perfect. It's a short drive to West Quoddy Head Lighthouse (beautiful!) and Monica's Chocolates (delightful!). It's also very close to Campobello, if you have your passport handy.

Very unique with unbelievable views of the bays. Staff is very friendly and helpful, housekeeping was right on the ball. We asked for extra pillows and got them in 5 minutes. Nice little restaurant attached to building. I think an ice machine in common area would be nice instead of asking restaurant for ice.

The view from the room was exceptional, the room was clean and adequate. The service at the adjoining restaurant was terrible and unacceptable. After being seated almost immediately we were ignored for more than 20 minutes( while others were being served). We left and went into town and had an exceptional dinner at The Water's Street Tavern.

Lovely room overlooking the wharf. Hotel staff very friendly and accommodating. Restaurant food okay. Restaurant staff okay. It wasn't very enjoyable to be eating dinner while restaurant staff swept floor and stacked chairs on tables around us.

We loved the Inn on the Wharf. The rooms are very basic but clean and smell clean. The water in the shower was hot and so nice. We had a view of the water from our room which was spectacular. The rooms do not have mini fridges but there is a common room that has a full kitchen and refrigerator and you can label your food and keep it there. We cooked both dinner and breakfast in the kitchen. Fisherman’s wharf restaurant is attached to the Inn and had amazing seafood. Overall a great experience.
