After being allowed to check-in early (which was a wonderful surprise coming from the bike trail), we enjoyed fresh cold lemon-water, coffee and the warm indoor pool. Hotel is convenient to trail, and well-equipped. Staff was attentive. There’s an outside deck and chairs by the river banks, and a small lobby bar.

Chose the Comfort Inn because the B&B we booked was not available on Sunday night. Wish our entire stay had been at the Comfort Inn. It is much nicer than the B&B and more convenient to the GAP trail. We initially chose the B&B because we expected the Comfort Inn to be on a major highway and not convenient to the trail. In fact, the Comfort Inn is on a quiet street right across from the trail. It backs up to the river and has a nice patio with outdoor tables overlooking the river. It also has a bar in the lobby and a small restaurant right next door. I would highly recommend the Comfort Inn at Connellsville over other options in the area.

This facility is in an area that has much on-going construction. It’s a hotel with all of the “basics” plus a nice indoor pool. Ample parking is provided, but it’s an outdoor gravel lot and across the street from the hotel. One side offers a lovely view of a picturesque stream (river?) and is well worth the small additional cost. The limited experiences with the staff were all positive, the breakfast was nice and the facility clean and nicely maintained. This is not a “high-end” hotel and it’s priced accordingly. If I return to this area I will gladly stay here.

We loved the hotel, it is right off the GAP trail. We were cycling, the hotel offered rags and a hose to rinse off the bikes. Breakfast offered everything we wanted. Nextdoor was a restaurant which was good and convenient.

This hotel is a 5 star in my book. It feels great from the moment you check in. All the staff was super friendly and helpful. Everything is so so clean, from the carpets to the linens. And the location is just spectacular!!! Right next to the river so you can enjpy a wonderful walk or even ride a bike. Breakfast was good with an ample coffee selection. The room was super spacious and it had a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Ours was a stop over from ny to oh but id love to make this our next destination to just unwind.

Just need a place to stay overnight and this was the closest to my destination. I was really pleasantly surprised about the condition of the property. Lobby was tidy, front desk was friendly, then I got to the room and it was remarkably clean. No dust or smudges, bed was tight. Honestly, bested the Marriott and Hilton properties I've stayed in the last few years.

This is truly an exceptional property in a somewhat out-of-the-way place unless you are biking the Appalachian Trail apparently. But the Riverside views cannot be beat and having a great restaurant next-door is another big plus. I have never seen a cleaner more pristine bathroom without it smelling like bleach! It was truly wonderful.

The hotel was conveniently located for our Frank Lloyd Wright road trip and the river view was fantastic - worth the extra charge.The room was spacious and comfortable but we discovered during our third night the walls are too thin. We could hear way too much of our neighbours. We were also disappointed at the lack of recycling. There was a shocking amount of waste generated during breakfast: All utensils and dishes were disposable, there was no option to separate or recycle anything - not even organic waste. I'm hoping Comfort Inn has plans to do better.

Unexpected gem close to Frank Lloyd Wright's Falling Water. This is the cleanest, best maintained property i've ever been to. We had a gorgeous view of the river, staff were all super friendly. The bar next door had fresh, well prepared food options. They have bikes and kayaks available and are right next to a riverfront park. Its obvious the entire staff takes alot of pride in their work.

Property was great. Friendly staff and probably the cleanest I have ever stayed in. The only issue I had was the noise from the adjoining room. They had a dog who barked a lot and I could also hear their conversations. The River view was excellent and worth the upcharge. I spent a lot of time reading in the chairs provided outside. Restaurant next door was good. Breakfast was good as well. I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend it.

Hotel staff was incredibly nice, hotel was spotlessly clean. The issue was the trains! If your room is on the backside of the hotel, there is a good chance you will hear the trains all night long. Ear plugs worked ok. I ended up sleeping on my side with another pilllow on my ear that was facing up! My friends who stayed on the Front side of the hotel heard nothing. I did go to their room and confirmed, I did not hear the trains. We cannot comment on the bfast as we did not eat there.

The hotel would be great it it wasn't for the walls being so thin. We could hear every movement as our room was on the first floor right by the lobby, we were awoken every morning when breakfast started unfortunately. Such a shame, as the staff and location are excellent, please do something about the walls!

We arrived very late and were treated with a smile and kind words by Trevor. I know his name because he was so professional I needed to know his name for a review. The room was great. We asked for a room with a view of the river. Which was amazing. The staff were all very friendly. The location of the hotel is awesome. The bicycle/walking trail and park with playground next to the hotel is a huge plus. We highly recommend this hotel for a time of rest and relaxation. We will be back!

There was a wedding group there and they were extremely loud. When I asked management or front desk to please address it with them I was told “well it is a hotel sir”. I finally was moved to a different room. Very rude management and front desk.

The staff at the Comfort Inn was amazing. They were friendly and always helpful. The breakfast in particular was great and the staff paid close attention to details - refilling coffee and food, answering questions, keeping everything very neat and clean. We had a great visit to the area and the Connellsville Comfort Inn was wonderful to return to at the end of our day.

everything was fine except for one service blip when we rudely told by a staff member to get our own pillows. we would have also appreciated an in-room list of ammenities available, such as the fact that there was a pool we weren't aware of. room was kept regularly clean. already expressed our thoughts to manager on-site.

bike trip & as usual stayed @ comfort inn. we had bad weather & bike problems, & it was no problem extending our stay another night. Good breakfast, awesome staff. Keep up the good work. Will recommend this place to other cyclists

Comfy hotel within 30 minutes to three FLW homes in the area. Our three night stay included a nice daily breakfast at 6am which had hot food each day - eggs, sausage, waffles. Nice view of the river, too. A few cafes and restaurants within a 15 minute walk, and a really good one right next door. We would definitely stay again!

Girls' trip from Friday to Sunday. Overall it was great! Sunday morning breakfast was not as smooth. Many of us were waiting for more food to be brought out which wouldn't have been a big deal but it would have been helpful to convey that they were aware and were prepping more food instead of leaving us all wondering. Otherwise it was a really lovely visit and I would definitely go back again!

After a few hotel stays in the western PA area, I wasn't expecting too much. But wow! This place delivers. Great breakfast, clean rooms, comfy bed, awesome restaurant beside it. I just loved it. The river is the ultimate, providing a great way to walk out the door in the morning.

I didn't have any expectations about this hotel as I was visiting Falling water as a half way to home. I was surprised there was a pool it was perfect for my naughty and I. There are also great restaurants RIGHT next door. Our room could have used a vacuum under the furniture, but I was very satisfied with the room.
