Newer hotel which had the perfect layout for our family traveling to Gillette over thanksgiving. Unfortunately the maintenance is lacking here. For the age of the hotel it had no working stove, several lights out in the common spaces, shower leaks and is damaging the wood and flooring. The hvac created an awful smell in our room. There was some spatter in the ceiling resembling (blood?) Having specifically selected a Mariott property with a stove, having to travel on Thanksgiving - first time ever, it was really disappointing.

Neueres Suitenhotel. Die 2 Schlafzimmersuiten haben niäur 1 kleines Wannenbad. Empfang npchtern. Frühstück gut Zimmer mittelmässig sauber, Haare überall, Geruch nach Haustieren... Einrichtung modern. 1 der TVs in einem der Schlafzimmer ohne Funktion. Liegt unmittelbar an der Interstate 90, aber ruhig. Gut für die Durchreise zu empfehlen.

We had a great stay @ TownePlace while in town for dog agility championships for a week. The property had lots of grass area for the pups that was very well cared for and clean. The staff were very accommodating when we needed a room change at check-in. And the room was very modern and clean as well. We will definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed the comfort of the suite & everything was easy to work & figure out, including a hot tub that actually was functional as well as thermostats that worked. Seems hard to find a hotel with everything that works like it should.

Stayed twice on our way to Yellowstone and on our way back. First stay was fine. Nothing remarkable but the condition of the room definitely showed wear and tear. Second stay was the same. We stayed in a suite and the table had broken edges which made using it a bit uncomfortable. A kitchen cupboard door was falling off. Overall, it was fine. I wasn’t overly impressed but wasn’t disappointed. The kids loved the pool. Breakfast was decent.

The hotel is not clean. I truly have no idea how it is rated the way it is. I picked the hotel based off the ratings but as soon as you walk in you get hit with dirtiness and a terrible stench. There is stuff (who knows what) spread on the walls. There is mold on the ceilings. Food ground into the carpet. Our bathroom in our room smelled like cigarettes and sewage. The next one is a preference, so take it for what it is, but the beds were so firm and the pillows had nothing in them, that I had to take pain medication in order to fall asleep because it hurt so bad. I absolutely would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

They had everything that we needed on the property. We stayed 4 nights, and only ate out once. I loved being able to save money by fixing our meals in the room, and not having to eat in the bed like at regular hotels. The suite was comfortable and fit our family of teenagers without being crowded. We will definitely be back.

The room was so much like an apartment. WOW Our first night was rough, as the guests upstairs, above us, were very noisy, up until after 1 am. The next day we mentioned this to the front desk, and they graciously moved us to another room. That made a huge difference.

We were in a bind (broken car) and Nick the manger went above and beyond to help us get things taken care of to help lower the stress! I am so very greatful for Nick and his willingness to make things so much easier on us! The rooms were great also.

My wife and I stayed at the TownePlace Suites in Gillette for a one-night trip. The room was clean, had nice amenities (fridge, cooktop, desk, large tv, etc.) but was a bit of an awkward layout. Maintenance hadn't been kept up with minor dings/scratches all over and even a small hole where the backup door lock had contacted a door. Overall staff was nice (though not many spoke English) and the continental breakfast was decent. Bed was comfortable and overall I would recommend. Price was reasonable (around $130 for a one night stay on a Friday) but at that price point I hoped for a little more. Wasn't too noisy and I would recommend.

Like all of these hotels there is a distressing amount of non-recyclable utensils used at breakfast but that breakfast was still excellent and the room was such good value - sparklingly clean and very well equipped kitchenette - so good that I booked another in the chain in Rapid City.
