Small nice place but the pool area and surrounding seat needs some TLC the pool was not clean very unkept, dirty tables need to be clean they were dusty. Otherwise the room was clean and nice . Microwave and refrigerator lv the bathroom really cute . Nice parking space for cars .

It’s all about Location! It is less than 1/2 a mile from fairgrounds and right in the middle of downtown where you can walk to numerous restaurants and shops. The hotel was recently updated and it’s nice. Parking is tight in their parking lot fyi. Very basic room and felt disappointed there was not a blanket on beds in room. Just had a sheet and a thin silk comforter cover.

I was in town for a short stay and wanted to go for a swim, the pool is not heated and there is no hot tub. The room itself was dirty, I took pictures in case anyone got sick. In the bathroom there was no place to hang your towel, it was really inconvenient.

Pool was closed and they refused to issue refunds even after we went it to leave as soon as we find out. Front desk receptionist refused to call management, refused to cancel and it was uncooperative. She even told us that she changed us out and gave us checkout invoice with wrong date. I can’t believe this place was advertised trough Expedia. My last booking with them.

It’s really unfortunate because it’s a cute updated motel - but most of the occupants are actually residents there. Apparently the state gives them vouchers to stay there. Some were very friendly, others were very sketchy. Killed a few roaches too. The front desk was not surprised.

Most terrible stay. Had to leave and they didn’t refund me. Room they gave me was dirty. Trash wasn’t taken out. Towels from previous person wasn’t collected. One of the bed was not cleaned. Telephone in the room didn’t work. They offered another room but left a bad impression so I left. DO NOT BOOK YOUR STAY HERE. Expedia should take them off their listings.

All the bad reviews on here are absolutely correct. Do not stay here at all. The bed sheets were dirty with stains, blood stains! The towels were dirty with stains on all of them! Hairs in the bathtub. Night stand felt crusty, sticky and dirty. Nothing in the room was cleaned. The floors were dirty and covered with crumbs. Bed was super uncomfortable, so stiff! The blankets were thin and terrible, it did not keep us warmed at night. This is the type of hotel homeless people get vouchers to live at. This is the type of hotel they set you up when you get out of jail. It’s a cheap motel and you get what you pay for. We could hear every footstep from the people upstairs late at night, super noisy. Stay somewhere else. The people at the front desk were nice, that was the only positive thing.

Small rooms but clean. Bed was very hard. Shower did not have shelves for soap or body wash. The shower door came off the track and was locked in the shower for about 5 minutes. Heavy glass doors actually fell inward. I did catch it and lifted it but missed the track. My wife helped outside the shower and we were able to get the door on track. The bed and room were clean but very old furniture.

Not fancy but clean. It is decently priced and in a convenient location. The only drawback is that it's noisy because it is right on Main street of town and there is a lot of traffic. Also, since it is a older renovated hotel the noise travels through walls and floors. The guest upstairs walked back and forth to the restroom all night =(

Check in was quick and easy. Mixed review on the room: The bed was large and comfortable, the pillows were awful and lumpy. The air con was so noisy, it sounded like a jet engine and made it hard to sleep, as well as it being positioned right next to the bed and was blowing directly on to whoever was sleeping that side of the bed. No coffee machine in the room which was disappointing. Positioned on a very busy road so traffic noise was very loud all night.

I was not able to stay there bc they over booked my room and then I had to find another place to stay despite paying and confirming my stay. What a mess. I was stranded in a city I was unfamiliar with late night. Not cool!!!

When I arrived there were two different families yelling at the front desk girl. They were complaining that they didn’t have a room, after they already paid, there was a third woman waiting for service and myself, I immediately interrupted and asked if the other lady and myself could see if we have a room and we did. Upon entering my room I noticed the door had been busted into and was repaired. I then went to lay down on the bed and noticed the pillow cases were stained with possible make up, upon going downstairs to ask for new pillow cases there was a third family yelling at the young lady about not having a room that was paid for. Another lady came in and said she needed housekeeping because there were bedbugs in her bed. I just couldn’t wait for this night to end…. I had to inspect the bed thoroughly to ensure that we didn’t have bedbugs. The young lady was yelled at so badly I really felt bad for her. Expedia really needs to keep better track of vacancies…We ended up here because our host stopped renting her place and we had no other choice to stay here at the last minute.

Staff is excellent, especially this young fellow with a beard. He was a really good dude. They even let me check out an hour and a half late because I had to come back from a football tournament at Palomar College. I would recommend this motel to anybody, friendly staff and very understanding about people situations.

Got in around 9:45pm, rang bell several times to try and check in, called twice until someone came to give me a card key. The next morning i wanted to see about a later checkout, couldnt get an answer from employee about price or doing it. So i took our stuff with us just in case we didnt make it back in time before regular checkout. We made it back at 10:12 & someone was already clearing out our room. The take away is that the staff were all pleasant people but everything was really inconvenient. Could work on being cleaner as well. Our bathroom had hairs and *ick stuff in the shower.

I booked 2 rooms for 3 nights for a job we were doing in town. The job COULD have taken up to 3 days to complete, so I booked 3 nights. We got it done in 1 day and only needed to stay 1-night. We checked out at 12:00 the very next day. While checking out I asked for a printout showing we are checking out early. I was told I couldn’t get one. The girl at the desk said “You booked and paid through Expedia, so you need to go to them to get a refund for checking out early.” So that's what I did the next day. While talking with Expedia they said they need to confirm with the hotel that I checked out early. They called the hotel, and the hotel said they would NOT issue a refund, because apparently I booked the rooms at a "non-refundable rate". So while checking out, the girl sends me to Expedia, then Expedia sent me back to them, back and forth, back and forth... They basically STOLE $600+ from us. I told the hotel if I didn't get a refund, I would be leaving bad reviews all over online telling all of yall what happened. They refused, so here I am. Be careful how you book your room with these thieves, folks...

Cute place right off the Main Street, walkable and near eateries. I was travelling with my dogs and they accepted pets so that helped a lot! I will come back as there is so much more to see in this town.

The girl at the front desk struggled with language. She didn't speak English. It was a long check in procedure, she seemed new. But she did help get the TV on in my room. Also there was a coffee maker with all the fixins with NO coffee. But there was coffee in the lobby if you asked. I appreciated that. All in all, I would give it a 6 out of 10

Okay. We left a night early. It said free breakfast. None. The microwave had so much metal on it, we didn’t feel safe using it for our stay. And it’s so loud, we have an infant. It was pretty much impossible to put him to bed. He just kept waking up. So we left. And only stayed one night and paid for both. The hotel was pretty clean. The staff 20/10 was amazing

Room k.pillows to soft. No blow dryer and tissue in room No blanket on bed.just sheet and lite bed spread. Pool was dirty as if they had no pool services in awhile. There was a beach towel in the pool area. It looked as it had been there awhile since some one clean pool. There was a nail and razor in the pool. Along w leaves and bugs. So sad .Plants by the pool were died. Nothing like the web site. Coffee was$ 2.00 a cup in am. In back of the hotel The county Pays for home less people to rent the hotel on a monthly basis . SADLY tax payers they it all

the traffic was loud early in the morning but, thats not their fault. the location was convenient for my needs. The bathroom was arranged a little off and the water pressure in the shower was not great however, the water pressure at the sink could knock you over if you were not being careful. It would be nice if there were a coffee pot in the room or coffee available on site. overall, this was a nice clean room to stay in and the parking lot seemed safe.

They have done a nice renovation too bad the bare minimum of coffee in room and/or office was missing. The face of AC was totally broken off. The pool needed cleaning BUT still a decent place to stay if you need accommodation especially because there isn’t much choice as they seem to be it for Ramona. Cute and functional, easy dinning and good entertainment across the street. Just expect a few hiccups.

The bathroom shower had no shelf to hold the soap or shampoo container while you showered. The bathroom was overall good. The microwave was old. And they had a loose chair in the room. It was a good place. No daytime breakfast.

I know this is an older facility but they could have made it more comfortable. There was no chair so only the bed to sit on. The lighting was very dim. No towel racks or soap holders in the bathroom. No clock. The remote did not work so we went to the "window" which you had to use in lieu of a lobby. They gave us another remote but it did not work either so gave up. The website said they had coffee in lobby. Again went to the window and man said they have not had coffee since Covid. And lastly I did not feel secure since the door only had a dead bolt. And did not appear to be closed tightly.
