It is a very clean and safe property about 20 minutes from the Newark Airport. The breakfast is excellent with the made to order omelets. The onsite restaurant and Starbucks are very convenient. There is not a lot of close dining or shopping options. It is nice and quiet for a good nights sleep!

We came with 2 other families for a NYC field trip. We loved the location & the hotel was beautiful! There were problems with the elevators throughout our 3 day stay. The cocktail hour was very disappointing compared to other Embassy Suites we've stayed at. Housekeeping services were Excellent! They were quick to get us extra pillows and blankets, and our rooms were very well cleaned each day. Pool was nice. Breakfast waa Excellent.

The staff was great, food was great and our room and surrounding area was clean. We had young children who like to swim. Unfortunately there was poop in the pool on the first day of our stay. Also the area around the pool was unclean! Notified staff next day still poop in the pool so both days our children were unable to swim.

Hotel was beautiful and perfect for our family trip. Our room was clean and spacious with two TVs. We had a little trouble getting the chromecast to work so we could stream a movie together but we also didn't bother with reaching out to the hotel for help fixing it. The free breakfast was amazing. Omlet station and all the traditional hot breakfast food was a nice surprise. They also had it well staffed and the area was keep immaculate while guests were eating. Very nice pool (could have been a little bit warmer) the kids had a blast. We will be back the next time we are up here to go to the Polar Express for sure.

Our room was not cleaned when we checked in. Also the hallway carpet smelled of mildew and therefore needs replacing The wall should be better soundproofed because we could here people loud in the hallway and babies crying in a room a few doors down.

Everything was lovely as it usually is, however, the shower floor was not cleaned. Not a huge deal but can make your skin start to crawl. If you think about it too much In regard to the rest of the room.

Embassy is usually my preferred hotel because of their service and amenities; unfortunately, this was not the case for this stay. The room was not clean, with stains on the duvet and even a booger behind the pillow. There was no body wash in the shower bottle, and when I requested a replacement, they informed me they were out of body wash. For what we paid, this shouldn’t have been a two-star experience, but in this case, it was. The only positive was their restaurant; otherwise, I wouldn’t recommend it.

This was our second stay at Embassy Suites. It was a good stay but it’s quite apparent the place is slowly aging. Upon first glance, the place looks good but when you look closely, there are many things that I found to be questionable. For example, I read previous reviews about the sink clogging and it smelling like sewage. On day 2 out of 5, both of these things were apparent. It wasn’t anything unbearable but it was certainly present. In addition, little things like notches on the door, scuff marks on the bed bases made this stay a little less pleasant. I noticed housekeeping is pretty much surface cleaning. Things weren’t lifted to clean underneath (like lamps) and the floor was swept but not mopped. My parents’ suite was in much better condition so if you do want to stay here, you may be better off in one of these rooms. The staff is lovely and super helpful! Grain and Cane had some good food too. We recommend the buffalo lollipops! Outside of that, the location is pretty good and it’s definitely a safe place. Overall, it was a good stay but I don’t know if I will stay there again in the future. Hopefully when I do need to, it’ll be renovated.

This property was beautiful they had a Starbucks and a restaurant right on site they offer free breakfast which was really good the room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable but the reason why it only gets a three-star for me is because when you got to the fifth floor it smelled so bad in the hallways of mildew like a rotting smell. Everything else about the hotel was great from the moment you walked in at the front desk to Kathy at the bar at night and the wait staff that delivered her best the girl she was really nice

First night bathroom looked like it was not cleaned, there were long strands of hair on the floor. The bathroom corners was not properly swept. Hiwever, housekeeping was sent in the morning to clean. On the 3rd day, we figured out why there were strands of hair, they used the same cleaner from someone else bathrokm to clean ours, so transfer of dirt from one room to the other. Aside of this, room was fine and breakfast was great.

Breakfast was very good, as was the restaurant. Dining staff and front desk staff very friendly. Room had crumbs on floor and hair in bathroom. Security guard sat "hidden" for over an hour Sunday night. Pool filter was working. Building is nice, rooms are spacious.

Very nice rooms -lots of space -clean breakfast was amazing. Only issue was the bathroom door is a sliding barn door and it leaves about a 2 inch gap opening when closed so you don’t get privacy - it’s nice looking but not functional - bathrooms just need a regular door. Other than that it is beautiful and quiet.

At the outset,I would like to note that this facility appears to be very modern, indicating that it has been recently built or renovated. While my room was compact, it was clean and offered excellent WiFi. Regrettably, I was forced to give a low rating due to the inadequate customer service. The staff displayed a dismissive and rude demeanor, refusing to provide me with a bottle of water as a courtesy simply because I am not a Hilton Honors member. Moreover, housekeeping neglected to knock before entering my room, despite the presence of the "do not disturb" sign. I must express my appreciation for Shay's exemplary service and kindness. As customer service is a top priority for me, I will not be staying at this hotel again.

Stayed with our 4 kids for 4 nights. Started out with a suite for 6ppl but found it far too tight. Would be great for 4. Ended up getting the connecting king suite next door which made it way more convenient. The hotel was very nice. Good breakfast included. Pool is on the small side and was very busy the night we tried to swim so didn’t use that. Loved there was a Starbucks in the building. Overall would recommend.

The woman at the desk upon check in was so friendly, kind and helpful. They gave us a ride to the wedding venue. We came back to the Grain and Cane - there’s stag was friendly but their drinks were over priced. We ate at the free breakfast. It was very good and the quality of the foods offered was impressive.

Hotel seemed over-booked. We were given a room at first with fewer beds than I booked. Then put in another one, where another family barged in a few hours later! They were given a key to same room. No WiFi and the pool was insanely crowded. Strange.

We booked a suite with 2 Queen Beds but there was not one available when we checked in so we had to stay our first night in a suite with 1 King Bed - which was too small for our family of 4. We were told that the front desk would call us the next morning as soon as they had our Suite with 2 Queen Beds available. We asked several times the next day but they never had one available and never called us. There was no apology or accommodations made at all. The hotel was very booked. Breakfast in the lobby was disorganized and the quarters where the buffet was located were very tight. We waited twenty minutes on a long line that snaked around tables just two reach the entry of the buffet area. There has to be a better system. People were up running the halls until the early hours of the morning. People were in front of the entrance smoking pot and discarding their blunts on the sidewalk and in the parking lot. The cops stopped by at least twice during our stay. We expected better - better hospitality, better service, a better experience.

Tiny room where the self-serve breakfast was set out, with people going both ways and clustering, with little room to move bc there was a line for omelets that hid or made tiny room hard to find. plates and silverware not in path---so really it's lack of direction causing chaos. Most of the seats were taken, with people in overflow room, but hard to be a single person trying to find a seat and not knowing if your tea or food would be there when you had to jump up to grab silverware.

Our stay was excellent, and the breakfast fine, but the food space was small and nothing was marked/identified. Property was lovely, but huge construction area adjoining it. It did not affect our stay, just not aesthetically pleasing coming in and out. The area in general is very pretty.
