Clean, attractive hotel, good location on bay near beach, pet friendly amenities, helpful staff. Comfortable rooms other than Sofa bed not comfortable as a bed - you’re probably better off getting two queen beds than a suite. Maintenance said they are ordering new sofa beds. Pool is small, staff correctly refer to it as a “wading pool;” 3-5 feet and more suited for therapy or children playing than adult swim. Prefer to be able to smell the chlorine to know oh is being maintained. Would stay again and recommend with the above caveats.

Visited with family and my dog. Great stay overall. We're a little picky when it comes to hotels but this was definitely top on our list for O.C. Very pleasant, friendly staff and atmosphere. Very accommodating. Clean! Which is huge considering it's pet friendly. Also had a nice small dog area in the back. Loved the breakfast items. Everything was very well kept. The pool and work out rooms are quaint and clean. Sheets and bedding were clean. I'd definitely come back.

Newer Marriot. Room was two queens and was in great shape and appearance. Very quiet at night on the side wing rooms. No view of the Ocean. Parking was included and there was some parking under the building. Breakfast was typical - scrambled eggs, meat side, breakfast sandwich, cereals, oatmeal, two waffle stations. Decent coffee. Gym had four treadmill/elliptical and free weights. Indoor pool was small. Staff was friendly and helpful. Overall a pleasant stay.

Our room was nice and clean. Staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Breakfast is served on the 2nd floor more than your usual continental breakfast. Only blocks from boardwalk. Many options to eat from within walking distance from hotel. Minature golf across the street from hotel. Oh, they also have a Laundry room. Based upon my room and what I mentioned above, I would definitely stay again!

Very nice and clean hotel. Two blocks away from the beach/boardwalk. The pool is small but was just enough for my son who is 11years old. Everything was fine i have no complaints except for one. I had to pay for parking my car at the hotel. Im 40 years old and been staying in hotels all over the U.S and this was my first encounter having to have to pay for parking my car outdoor in an open parking lot at the actual hotel me and my family were staying in. Paying the parking did not hurt my pockets, If I remember correctly it was $10 a day and i my stay was for four days. But I personally do believe you should not be charged to park at a hotel you are currently staying over night in. To me it just doesn’t make any sense. Other than that I have no complaints. Hotel was nice and clean , staff was nice and cool, breakfast was good. Pool was clean. Will possibly stay here again. Just hope they change the policy of charging customers to park in a hotel you already paying to stay at in the first place.

Hotel was very clean (and my wife is very picky and no complaints from her) and staff was very friendly. Didn't have any issues with anything during our stay. Breakfast is what you expect as most hotels have. Pool is a bit small should you want to use it but there's a nice tanning deck on the 3rd floor by the pool. Easily walkable to Jolly Roger amusement park and the beach. Would advise driving a few minutes south should you want to walk the boardwalk. Overall great stay.

The staff was very accommodating changing our room when the air conditioner was loud. The refrigerator in our room didnt work. The floors in the lobby and elavators were dirty. But all in all we enjoyed our stay here and would return.

Loved how clean the hotel was. Room was spotless and the balcony had a partial view of the Atlantic to the left and the bay to the right. It is walking distance from the boardwalk/beach. If you want to be closer to the busier part of the boardwalk, this is located at the other end so it is quite the hike. Wish the indoor pool was bigger. It is ideal for 1 person.

From the first day, I had problems because the app said they didn't charge for parking, but they do charge $10.00 per day. Then they had to move me to a different room because the air conditioner started making noises and leaking water. They moved me to a different room, but I didn't have internet. They came to fix it, but it didn't work, meaning I didn't have internet either. The balcony doors were dirty. When they supposedly came to clean, which they do every three days, the girl didn't clean anything. They should have more staff for the guests at breakfast. I really don't recommend it. 😔

The property needs some updates. The drawers didn't work so we had to live out of our suitcases for 5 days. The bathroom sink was flooding. The beds and pillows weren't comfortable. They need to upgrade to comfortable mattresses and better pillows for comfort. The management team could be more friendly and don't be so obvious about their prejudice, after all everyone is paying to stay there no?

It was a nice room with an awesome shower! Not the most comfortable bed, but we slept pretty well. Mattress was hard but some people like that. The woman at the front desk was really nice, and we bought snacks and drinks from their little store.

This property has great amenities and is dog friendly which was great! However, the bed was so hard that when the dog jumped on it didn’t bounce at all. Very uncomfortable to try and sleep on. Canal views are nice

Easy Check-in! Friendly staff. Clean property with relatively new surfaces. Good variety at Breakfast including a fruit medley. Great location, we could walk to almost everything including the Beach. Either I had noisy neighbors or this Hotel has really thin walls, but its was very noisy & I was on a high floor.

Front desk useless. TV did not work, told me to unplug HDMI cable and see. Did not work. Not to mention that TV is affixed to wall which makes it really difficult to access the cable. Took me a while, then it's all dusty behind the TV. I asked for another remote. Was told it would take some time. Then got a call maybe 20 min. later telling me to come get it at the front desk. No one was there, remote was left with post-it on it to againe unplug HDMI cable. Still did not work. When i called the front desk again, no one picked up. According to reservation department that I reached out, they were extremely busy. Mind you there were 3 cars on the parking lot, pretty much no one in the hotel at 8pm, midweek in off season resort town. They could have switch me to one of the many empty rooms but that was probably too much work. Not my first time at this Fairfield but definetly my last.

The Fairfield Inn is the perfect hotel in Ocean City, MD. The location is perfect to hit the beach daily and cruise the boardwalk . The hotel itself is beautiful, from the entry chandeliers to the smell of the lobby that leaves a lasting impression. Lastly, the staff are AMAZING. Martin, the GM, was as personable and welcoming as they come. He stopped to talk to every guest in the dining area on one of the mornings to see how our stay was and how our overall experience was at the establishment. Very appreciated and a nice gesture. In addition to Martin, Trish and Jordan , front desk staff, were also exceptionally professional and welcoming. I don’t remember every staff members name but I can say they were all very friendly and welcoming. This was our 3rd time staying at the Fairfield Inn and it has become our families only OC, MD hotel of choice. Highly Recommend and 5 Stars.

I usually don’t do reviews but the management team and the front desk are amazing. They are really helpful and plus always have great attitudes. Lovely people and lovely place definitely 5 out 5 stars

Excellent stay! Hotel was spotless clean, very helpful staff, great location! We stayed four nights. Room was very nice! We had a balcony with a glimpse of the ocean. Breakfast included. We would definitely stay there again.

If you had the misfortune of staying in some of the run-down hotels in Myrtle Beach, this is a different kind of hotel. Everything worked in my room, and the mini refrigerator actually kept my drinks cold. There is a complimentary breakfast in addition to free parking. I highly recommend a stay at this hotel.

Check in was not great. I showed up an hour early. The lady at the desk said my room was not ready and she would call me. No call. Came back at 4pm. Room was ready but the new lady was rude at best. I was told a total of 12 people were in the hotel total. Other staff was very nice. My room was very nice and clean. I like this hotel for it's location. Breakfast is not good at all. Good value for sure.
