Nice little hotel. 5 minute walk to the famous Taksim square and mile long shopping street. Hotel was nicer than I expected for the price. Bedrooms had fridges and newly renovated bathrooms. The value was good. The service at the front desk was fast and very friendly. The cleaning lady was superb. There are a couple of rough looking buildings right next to the hotel but it is safe. A tiny store with most items anyone could need on short notice is a few feet away, around the corner. I stayed in a double bed with my gf but I am 6’1 and it was a little small for me. Queen or king for sure next time. It is hard to beat the value I got.

Our family of four had an excellent 3-night stay at Villa Pera Suite Hotel. We loved that the room was clean showing it’s very well maintained. Towels and slippers were provided. It had a kitchenette that’s complete with small fridge, hob, plates, cups, glasses, cutlery, a pan and a pot. The hotel is conveniently located, just off Taksim station and Istiklal street. Very close to transport, shopping and food!

This was probably one of the best hotels if you want to stay in Taxim. As soon as you get out of the metro station it’s a short walk to the hotel no taxi needed. The metro runs from the airport to this metro hub Taxim and made it very convenient for my travels. The rooms are nice and I don’t know if all rooms have them but my room had a stove so I could cook meals to save money on some days. A very nice hotel.

It's a cute place but unfortunately the rooms smell like cigarettes. Though it's prohibited to smoke inside, I could occasionally smell the smoke while I was in the shower. The owners don't seem to enforce the "non-smoking" rule. They were happy to show me other rooms but the smell was the same everywhere. The whole building has a unified ventilation, it seems. They should just put smoke detectors in their rooms, they don't cost much. Other that that everything was alright, however I expected something more for the price. The location is convenient, the breakfast was fine and I even had an underfloor heating in my suite.

What I like about Villa Pera Suites: the central location "next door" to Taksim Square, the comfy bed, the tv channels in french, english, german, the free wifi, the delicios breakfast , the charming Old Pera atmosphere, the nice and polite reception staff , the safe entrance. What I don't like ( and I hope the manager will read this report) is the dirty floor in room 6 , basement, annex building. Try to wipe it with a napkin, becoming instantly grey-black. Those tiles have never been cleaned or washed by the cleaning team, in contrast with the floors of lobby and main building. Basement room is a hotel room, not a a technical basement, so it needs floor without obvious dust, rust and dirt.

There is no free breakfast as mentioned, staff were trying to charge us for food. Staff are very rude, barely speaks English, and treats their guests like trash. No towels were provided during my stay even tho we asked for it. The room has ants everywhere. Beds are small and don’t properly fit. I don’t recommend this place to anyone

We were generally happy with the hotel. The staff Baki and Hamid were friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable, clean and the bathroom had a powerful shower. Our main comments concern the front rooms’ windows. We found it difficult to sleep as the light from the streetlights was very bright and shone directly on the bed. I would advise the hotel to add blackout curtains to these rooms (or bring sleep masks) .As there are no carpets in the rooms if neighbors above wear high heeled shoes, then it gets very noisy! Finally, the stair case to the first floor and the landing are made of glass and are a bit scary or disorienting!

In the main building, the air conditioning it’s really sucks. You don’t have a control on your own room or suite. I couldn’t sleep the first two nights because it is centeral. The front desk controls the temp from their ends. I moved to other building afterwards. More privacy less noise and better cooling on the air conditioning and heat.

We genuinely couldn’t believe the size of the room. It was massive and was very reasonably priced. The location is fantastic, just a few minutes walk from Taksim Square. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Their English was excellent.

Room: I stayed an inner balcony room. It was clean and spacious. There were facilities to cook and store your own food (kettle, fridge, hobs, cutlery and plates). Plenty of space to spread out. Great staff, but no facilities in the room, no fridge and no closet. They only provide one card key to the room, we tried to request an extra as we sometimes split and they refused to give us an extra one, one night my partner was stuck for an hour outside the room and with no one at the front desk to help with giving access to the room

I booked the hotel with the breakfast included one of the stuff said I did not pay for the breakfast and showed no way of finding out why. I asked for a taxi and he called someone quick and gave an unreasonable and outrageous price. He did not know that I took a taxi everyday and I know the price already. The service is bad, the housekeeping opened the door even with the “do not disturb sign” on the door . You have to carry your luggage to a different location and then back to the main one to check out. It is a hill area and they show no gratitude to the clients just like they are doing us a favor by staying there.

We got the penthouse and it was extremely clean and quite spacious. The staff was amazing. Murad set up our spa day at a Turkish bath as well as a sunset cruise on Bosphorus. The hotel is a few short blocks to Taksim square.

I always love to stay in the Villa Pera hotel for that bespoke, individual care that you do not get in more corporate hotels. Murat is an endless source of ideas and can advise on the best things to do in Istanbul. The location of the hotel is ideal as is 5 mins from the bustling Taksim Square, while being situated on a quiet street. Looking forward already to the next stay!

Taksim is a busy noisy area but this hotel is tucked down a very quiet street and I wouldn't have known (I did have a room at the back mind you). Non-smoking property and super clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast is light and just enough to get you up and going in the morning. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again for this price point.

위치는 공항셔틀버스에서 내려서 5~6분 걷는것 같고 무거운 캐리어가 있으면 거리 바닥이 유럽 돌조각 바닥이라 좀 불편할것 같긴해요 그런데 여긴 어디든 다 비슷할것 같아요. 탁심광장이랑 메트로스테이션도 바로 근처라 구시가지 가기 아주 편하고 구시가지 가기도 가까워요 탁심광장에 ATM기도 있어요 이동에 있어 제일 훌륭한 위치 청소는 매일 해주시고 아주 친절하십니다. 무엇보다 방 크기가 아주 좋습니다 다른곳에서 이틀 묵었는데 가격적으로 훨씬 저렴한데 훨씬 더 좋아서 놀랐어요 제방은 거리쪽이라서 거리소음이 좀 있는데 날마다 다름.

Kahvaltı dahil filtresini işaretlediğimde listede çıkmalarına istinaden bu otele rezervasyon yapmıştım. Buna rağmen kahvaltı için ek ücret talep edildi. Ama kahvaltı güzeldi. Standart modern oda seçtik fakat inanılmaz yorucu bir zemin ve dekorasyonu vardı. Resimde farketmiş olsak asla seçmezdik. İranlı personel çok anlayışlı ve yardımseverdi. Çok teşekkür ediyoruz ona.

Walkable from Taskim and very decent size of room, facilities. Only downside is that breakfast starts only from 8 AM, especially if you are going on any of the tours from Istanbul. The breakfast area is also very small and it gets very crowded and uncomfortable.

Lovely spot near Taksim. Clean, bright, welcoming rooms and a really nice breakfast in the morning. Staff are very helpful and kind. I especially loved the location since it’s so easy to find and so close to good food and good shopping.

The cleaning staff were ok. I didn’t like their breakfast at all, way too expensive for what they offered. The aircon kept going off in the night and we had to keep getting out of bed to turn it on..very inconvenient. Could smell cigarettes in the room even though it was a non-smoking room. Location was ok but that’s about it.
