not a bad 1 night pass through stop. hotel backs up to the interstate so some road noise, not much for bfast. bathroom set up awkward (need better placement of hooks and bars)

Hotel was very quiet and easy to get to. There were some renovations on the 2nd floor that left a paint smell in the hallway, but overall it wasn’t a big deal.

Nice. Could have used some handicap rails in the bathroom for safety, and the ice machine wasn’t working on our floor.

One of the best stays ever at a "2-star" rated hotel - just needed a bed for a night on a long road trip. It was clean. Comfortable bed. Quiet, despite appearing to be almost full. Hot water, good pressure in the shower, good-enough towels. Parking lot was well-lit and well-monitored, felt safe leaving my car there. Staff were friendly and polite. Breakfast was average budget hotel fare - nothing remotely exciting or unexpected - but would give 10 stars for value. Would definitely stay again on a future trip through the area.

I’ve been to this hotel many times in the past. It has gone downhill. I won’t be back. Lights in the bathroom did not work/burnt out. The carpet must’ve been dirty as when I looked at my socks, after wearing them in the room, They were pretty dirty. The outside is disgusting. $25 extra for my dog yet taking him outside was worse than any mess he would’ve made. Trash was everywhere, drainspouts on building had fallen off & were lying against building. I realize it is still winter but it is obvious there has been extreme neglect. There is also a sign on the outside doors requiring masks before entering. I’m assuming this is an old sign that just hasn’t been taken down. No one at the desk had masks on. Breakfast the next day was fine, although the condiment container was very dusty.

Price per night was very good. Liked that our room had a shower instead of a tub for accessibility. However, would have been more comfortable had there been safety rails. Overall a good experience.

Newer facility in a good location. Could have been cleaned a little better as I found a dirty towel hanging on back of door. Also couldn’t do laundry because it required cash which they couldn’t provide.

I will preface this review by saying, photos are very deceiving. Short story… staff is unfriendly, rooms are dirty, but the bed is comfortable. So if you don't speak to anyone, keep your wyes closed, sleep and leave, this is the place for you! Long story, property looks fairly new but is definitely in need of maintenance inside and out. The lobby looks ok until you look closely or try to use the ice maker. Breakfast was terrible. It consisted of cereal, cold powered eggs, stale bagels and greasy sausages. We reserved a room with a king bed. Once arrived, we were told since we had our pup with, we had to be on the 1st floor bc those were the “pet rooms” and those rooms only had double beds. What!? The bathroom… dirty. Pretty sure all they did was put new towels in there. There is a reason the lighting is so bad in the rooms. In the beautiful sunlight of the morning after what I thought was a decent nights sleep…despite the sound that came out of the air conditioning unit that reminded me of a UFO landing and taking off… I saw a huge pee spot and blood on the comforter that I HAD SLEPT ON! Which was NOT from us or my pup. On our way out to our event in town I requested housekeeping and a bedding change. Upon our return… 12 hours later… this was not done. When I went out to the front desk to ask why, they simply had no idea why and I was just given a new comforter and bedding wadded up from what I guess was the laundry. Needless to say… we will not be back.

The clerks were professional, polite, and helpful. The breakfast was decent, though my husband didn't think the coffee was very good. The room was clean, though I wish we'd had a tub instead of the walk in shower. The mattress wasn't great, but the fridge and microwave worked. The ice machines all being broken or barely working wasn't great.

The two attendants that were on duty were vey rude.The lady told me 4 times no smoking in the room as if I didn’t hear her the first 3 times. Oh and regardless I don’t smoke. The day of checkout my boyfriend went to the lobby around 10:35 she told him rudely do you know checkout is at 11:00 ok we had still 25 minutes left and he definitely knew. The walls in the room were dirty like spats of blood was smeared on the walls. The pillow cases and towels in the bathroom were stained. The tub was dirty I literally had to clean it before I got in it.We were very dissatisfied.

Nice very clean, easy access

We stayed two nights. We requested that the room be cleaned and made up after the first night. All they did was replace the towels. The breakfast has a very limited selection.

The room itself was not in awful shape - but definitely not great shape. The walls in our room looked like they have not been washed down in a long time. They were very dirty with fingerprints and such. The smell in our room as soon as we opened the door was awful. It smelled like paint thinner and was truly nauseating. Gave me an awful headache and truly made it feel like we were “high.” We hoped that the smell would go away once we turned on the a/c but unfortunately it didn’t and we just had to deal with it all night. Breakfast was less that desirable - over cooked sausage patties, slimy eggs, waffles and cereal. I guess for the price we got what we paid for in this room. Wouldn’t stay here again though.

This time the twist was the same for 3 rooms. The gentleman at the front desk met all my usual requests and put our rooms together. Small deduction for the tv remote having dead batteries. But I've learned to carry my own batteries when traveling. So it wasn't a problem. Great price. Definitely recommended.

The bed was incredibly comfortable!

Liked Location , staff, and cleanliness. Beds and pillows were great. The heat/ fan in the room had a loud jingling sound like something was loose and it kept waking me up. Breakfast room was cold. Overall good for a night during my travel.

Not a terrible stay, not a great stay. The small things, bad caulk job in the shower collecting mold and mildew. No battery cover on remote and a few lights in the room didn't work. Beds were not the worst I had ever slept on.

it's a good hotel but don't get a room on the highway side which even number rooms. Rooms clean and the bathrooms are spacious.

Late check in . Took a while to get someone to come to door. I called earlier to tell them. Still insisted on cc for incidentals when it was 4am and I was leaving at 9 am. No need. Bed was incredibly comfortable! Loved it! An odor to hallways Manager was rude

A man checked us in - no conversation or info on breakfast, etc - only a couple of guests (only a couple of parked cars) Never saw anyone at the desk again The woman that was working breakfast didn’t smile or have much to say either Bed & room was clean & comfortable

Good location

The price on the room was good, The staff was nice, the beds was comfortable, you could walk to a Burger King and convenient store/gas station/Tim Hortons with Little Caesars inside.

It is clean. Comfortable and close to exit. Easy in and out. Staff especially kind and friendly

Nice and quiet, 10 minutes from center of Parkersburg, 1 minute to highway. Fast food in the parking lot, JP Henry less than five minutes up the road. Rooms clean, simple and efficient.

Stayed one night while traveling. Hotel was clean and quiet. There was a gas station conveniently located near by. Would stay again

We love the comfortable king bed! Breakfast was minimal and could use improvement. More cereal, English muffins, more jam, more bagels, waffle machine, and fresh melon are all standard at this type of hotel. Also coffee and cookies in the lobby on Friday and Saturday are provided 24/7 at other hotels.

Everything was fine except the breakfast. It was mediocre.

Everything is great EXCEPT the breakfast. Was premade egg circles with flat sausage maybe, biscuits with assuming sausage gravy. 3 types of cereals no fruit. Bread or bagels, juices, coffee. Add states full breakfast. Stayed her due to that. Not a full breakfast at all. Room was great!

The facility was clean and well maintained. The staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast needs to be improved on. It seemed very processed and simply wasn’t very good. It took away from all of the other good things about the hotel.

Common area was clean, room was ok but no toilet paper. Breakfast was disappointing. Eggs like sawdust. No OJ.
