The standouts for this place was the service and friendly staff. The most comfortable bed ,great shower pressure and was quiet. The family room did feel closed in without having a window out to the street.The gym was a let down with only one small bench and some free weights,but did have a good treadmill.

This location in old quarter can’t be beat! The hotel is not that big - with only 29 rooms and so there is a sense of coziness to the hotel ! What makes this even better is the excellent staff that they have. Special shout out to Linda for all the help that she was in making the stay and the trip arrangements from Hanoi to Ning Binh and Halong Bay! A great stay and highly recommend if

Great place to stay, tucked away on a busy street, but our room was on the backside and very quiet. Was fun to walk out onto a bustling scene everyday. The staff were outstanding, kind, helpful. Linda helped us book an outing to Lan Ha; Chloe and Cha were just wonderful. One thing: Expedia lists a pool at this property. There isn’t one.

Pro: the staffs were super helpful. They gave us recommendations for dining options. Convenient location, walking distance to various local restaurants. Cons: room was small, which I guess is common for old quarter areas. The A/C took a good 12hours to get to 16*C - I like the room to be cool so it was annoying, especially the electricity was shut down when you’re out of the room during the day. Bathroom was ok, but it would leak because only half of the bathtub was cover. Probably needs a shower curtain. Overall, it needs some upgrade. The fridge was barely enough to keep your beverage cool, and it took a long time too. I think I get what I pay for. Since it was only $40 /days for the triple room in downtown Hanoi. However, I think I would rather pay some more for a bigger & better room.

The hotel and staff were great. Comfortable beds. Our room did not face the main road, so I think that had a big influence on the quiet of the room. The hotel is small, blink and you’ll miss it, but quite lovely. Delicious breakfast. Best thing though? The staff. What a lovely group of people. Honestly, the team there was so nice! Helpful & kind. While Old Quarter was chaos outside - inside was tranquil and the staff made all the difference.

Google Room was clean & well equipped. Theres a small gym on the seventh floor. Location was super convenient, in the center of the old quarter, close to the night market and many restaurants. What made the stay exceptional was the staff. Saffron was friendly, attentive and super helpful. Made us feel very welcomed and so did the rest of the staff. They also arranged airport drop-off for us which was super convenient. (recommend doing that rather than getting a taxi). Would definitely recommend staying here if you're in Hanoi.

BED BUGS!! We checked in and service was good. Your bags are not secure if you drop them off while waiting for a room to be ready. We took a shower as soon as we got in our room and noticed black mold coming out of the jets in the tub. Then as we walked to the patio door, we noticed black mold around the caulking of the door. Then we found BED BUGS on our mattress!! Went downstairs and found the lobby with all the lights off and staff sleeping in the lobby couch. Asked for another room but they were entirely full. They were nice enough to come change out our sheets. But then we noticed underneath the mattress was filthy dirty. We asked if we can just pay for the first night and get a refund for the other 3 nights but they refuse to give us the refund. HOW DOES THIS MAKE ANY SENSE!? Your room is filthy dirty and infested with bed bugs but we still have to pay for it? Its called luxury but it has zero things luxury about it.

Not only is it close to everything in the old quarter the team there are extremely helpful with helping book affordable tours not showcased on travel websites, the rooms are also extremely clean and well managed. Would stay again!

The hotel staffs were extremely helpful and kind! All of them helped me not just with the hotel but also traveling around, giving us a lot of recommendations, and keeping our rental bike safe. And they speak English very well so it was easy to communicate with them. The hotel was clean and very easy access everywhere in Hanoi. There are a lot of restaurants and shops in a walking distance. I recommend eating at a street food shops that have plastic tables and chairs outside. They taste better and much cheaper. I also recommend downloading Grab app for chartering taxi before coming to Hanoi. When we caught a taxi on the street without it, they charged us more than double the usual fee. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who's staying in Hanoi.

Staff were superb: very helpful, kind, friendly and spoke good English. Hotel location is great: close to sites, eating, shopping and Hoan Lake. Stayed here twice. First stay was great as the room faced the street, had a good layout and had large windows. On our second stay, the room was long and narrow. It was fine but unique. I would recommend this hotel as I would stay here again!

Hotel staff were super pleasant and helpful. We had our cell phone stolen while out and the staff helped us deal with police, try to locate the phone, and file a police report. They also prepared a full breakfast for us at 6:30 AM so we could catch our flight, even though they normally start breakfast at 7:00.

All of the staff including porters, housekeeping and the wonderful people at reception made my stay here very comfortable and interesting as they booked taxis from the airport a d trips also. With Their vast local experience and expertise they were able to advise on local and international cuisine. They helped with smartphone apps to provide helpful links for local transport and delivery meals, they also explained the the local food and gave recommendations to my palate. A tourist / traveller is very limited to services during The Lunar New Year (Tet) as local people enjoy the period with their families and most of the city is closed but at least you’ll be able to cross the beep beep road without too much beep beep haha. Thank you Luxury Old Quarter for a wonderful eight days stay. Oh, the breakfast is the best for Eastern People in all of Asia!!

The hotel staffs were extremely helpful and kind! All of them helped me not just with the hotel but also traveling around, giving us a lot of recommendations, and keeping our rental bike safe. And they speak English very well so it was easy to communicate with them. The hotel was clean and very easy access everywhere in Hanoi. There are a lot of restaurants and shops in a walking distance. I recommend eating at a street food shops that have plastic tables and chairs outside. They taste better and much cheaper. I also recommend downloading Grab app for chartering taxi before coming to Hanoi. When we caught a taxi on the street without it, they charged us more than double the usual fee. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who's staying in Hanoi.

Great property for location and staff attentiveness. Linda was great and helped us book an overnight Halong bay trip which is a MUST. Great dining options around the hotel and everything is in walking distance. We stayed in 2 Different rooms before and after our overnight cruise and Linda upgraded us for a discounted rate and gave us a complimentary breakfast! Pro: the staffs were super helpful. They gave us recommendations for dining options. Convenient location, walking distance to various local restaurants. Cons: room was small, which I guess is common for old quarter areas. The A/C took a good 12hours to get to 16*C - I like the room to be cool so it was annoying, especially the electricity was shut down when you’re out of the room during the day. Bathroom was ok, but it would leak because only half of the bathtub was cover. Probably needs a shower curtain. Overall, it needs some upgrade. The fridge was barely enough to keep your beverage cool, and it took a long time too. I think I get what I pay for. Since it was only $40 /days for the triple room in downtown Hanoi. However, I think I would rather pay some more for a bigger & better room.

Hotel staff were super pleasant and helpful. We had our cell phone stolen while out and the staff helped us deal with police, try to locate the phone, and file a police report. They also prepared a full breakfast for us at 6:30 AM so we could catch our flight, even though they normally start breakfast at 7:00.

All of the staff including porters, housekeeping and the wonderful people at reception made my stay here very comfortable and interesting as they booked taxis from the airport a d trips also. With Their vast local experience and expertise they were able to advise on local and international cuisine. They helped with smartphone apps to provide helpful links for local transport and delivery meals, they also explained the the local food and gave recommendations to my palate. My family and I had a wonderful time at this hotel. The staff was very helpful in booking us a tour of Halong Bay as well as transportation to and from the airport which I highly recommend as it was very convenient to have someone waiting for you at the airport and ready to pick you up at the hotel on the return trip. The room was very clean and quiet, and the balcony was a nice area to view the busy street below. The location is centrally located in the old quarter with the night market being a 5 minute walk and many locations wither a 5 to 10 minute walk. There are many highly rated restaurants walking distance from the hotel with amazing authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Thank you to Linda and the rest of the staff for making our stay a wonderful one. We are looking forward to returning to Hanoi and staying at this location.
