Fabulous. I arrived at Klarisa Palace after a long tour around Croatia and this was one of the best places I stayed in. Just a few steps from Pile Gate, is in the heart of the Old Town, above a souvenir shop. In spite of the busy are, the rooms are very quiet. Beds and pillows are excellent, the spacious room has a big bathroom. Appliances and decor are modern. The place is clean and the communication excellent. Kudos to Tomas, who speaks perfect English, Spanish and of course Croatian, and is kind and helpful. Will definitely come back!

Very clean and modern inside with good AC, comfortable bed. No elevator so you have to carry your bags upstairs (no ground floor rooms). Lots of food options within 2 minutes walk.

Tomas was excellent about communicating with us before check-in. He arranged for Ana to have our room available so we could drop off our bags early. Ana was kind-- and strong! She carried both of our bags up the stairs . The room was spacious and very clean. The double windows kept the noise out. It was quiet despite being next to the Hard Rock. The location was ideal - just inside the Pile Gate entrance. If we were to return to Dubrovnik, we would choose to stay here again.

Super location in the heart of old town. Thomas at the desk was courteous and professional. However, this is not a “hotel “ as we commonly interpret that word. They are rooms above a novelty store. We had an attic room so the sloping ceiling made headbumps a constant possibility. Still, the cleanliness, location, and price made it a good choice.

Absolutely fantastic! It’s hard to find, as you need to enter a door into a souvenir shop-but once you find that you’ll be pleasantly surprised. Perfect location, spacious and spotlessly clean !

Great place in excellent location near entrance of old town. Thomas was super helpful and friendly. Room was clean. Only bad note but understandable being a historic building is hiking luggage up the stairs which was a small price to pay for a cool place to stay!

We stayed at Klarisa Palace Rooms for 4 nights. It is ideally located, only a few meters from the Pile Gate. Although there’s no elevator, you don’t need to negotiate the street stairs with your luggage (which we realized it could be a pain). The room we had was clean and spacious for European standards. We noticed a slight smell from the bathroom drain from time to time (typical of old buildings), it didn’t bother us that much. It was a great location and highly recommend it.

Good value and very comfortable. Just inside the main gate, perfect location for wheeling luggage. No main reception but Tomas was friendly and available for check in and any questions. Hard Rock Cafe is opposite but double glazing was excellent and music did not go on too late. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

This was a really nice place to stay in an excellent location. It is right in the middle of Dubrovnik and to say it is walking distance from the sites would be an understatement. You can get to most sites within a minute of walking from this place it is so well located. The room itself was quite good and fairly comfortable. The bed was a little hard, but it was tolerable for a few days. The attendant of the property was very responsive and nice. And you do get a small discount in the gift shop downstairs which is helpful. I would say that I did not like their Wi-Fi. It did not work very well at all. I even had the attendant work on it and after a while he was able to get it to work OK again for a few minutes and then it crashed. That is fairly substandard for the industry so that is why I am given this place four stars. If I had not had that problem it would have been a five star review.

If you get a room directly facing, you will hear the live music until 11:30 pm or so. It’s not a deal breaker, but if you like to sleep early or need to get up early, it’s something to consider. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Overall, I would stay there again.

Is amazingly located, everything was close and inside the historical neighborhood. Room was comfortable and spacious. Bad part is the lack of reception or communication. I asked for replacement of the safe box battery but no response. So at the end if you are comfortable without any communication or help, this is perfect but if you. Literally THE BEST location possible in Dubrovnik old town. Steps away from Pile gate, minimum effort to get luggage to the accomodation from Pile gate drop off. The Highlight was our Host Tomas - he was available 24x7 and extremely efficient. Helped our family with everything like family.

Good value and very comfortable. Just inside the main gate, perfect location for wheeling luggage. No main reception but Tomas was friendly and available for check in and any questions. Hard Rock Cafe is opposite but double glazing was excellent and music did not go on too late. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Great location just inside the Pile gate. The staff were polite and helpful. Room was lovely with high ceilings, 2 windows, effective A/C, great double windows for sound, spacious bathroom, lots of storage. Would definitely stay there again. 2 Adults in our group.

Excellent stay, very good communication before arrival and arranged a car to meet us at the airport. Amazon location just inside the walls so not too far to carry bags from drop off.

The photos dont do justice to the place. It is right in the middle of old town. Kolinda is very helpful and the other staff are very helpful too. The rooms are spacious and clean with easy access to many of the places of interest in Dubrovnik.

The most ideal place to stay. Right after you enter Old Town through the Pile Gate just past the drinking fountain across from Hard Rock Cafe. Is a little entrance to a newly renovated apartment with all the amenities you need. Most walkable location to everything. Entrance to city wall is right there too. I would stay there again
