great location - in Tallinn Old Town. everything is within short walking distance. the single room and attached bathroom were quite spacious. the hotel has no lift but there's help with my luggage. the small kitchen just outside my room was very convenient and very well equipped. i was able to prepare simple meals and hot drinks there. the hotel is really beautiful. looks like it has a lot of history, with rustic interior. the lady at the reception, Maria, was very very nice, helpful, warm, friendly and gave great tips on where to go for sights. i enjoyed my stay in Tallinn very much and will definitely stay here again.

Love the kitchen/seating area on the 2nd floor. (Has microwave and tea and coffee making facilities). Sadly the temperature wasn't right for sitting out on the balcony. Great location and view from the bedroom window. Key code to get in on arrival was a bit of a challenge but they are into codes in Estonia. Concierge only 8 - 5 so there’s no one to ask about anything if you arrive after 5 as we did. There is a small kitchen and sitting out area where you can make your own tea and coffee but nothing in the rooms. Breakfast was simple but good.

Nice hotel for a night. No elevator tho. I wish I knew that or gotten a room on the first floor. I had a big suitcase and only by luck another guest helped me at night. For my early flight I had to drag it down on the narrow stairwell myself. Also it was a little dark outside in front of the hotel. Otherwise, it’s conveniently located and has an easy self check-in after 5pm👌

I had a wonderful stay at Taalinna. Maria was very friendly and helpful. She let me borrow an umbrella which I appreciated! I enjoyed the use of the kitchen to make tea and do a little work. The location is very convenient to explore the Old Town and surrounding area. I recommend!

Very pleasant and helpful staff. Excellent proximity to the Old Town. Great common room/small kitchenette for guests, doubling as a sun room. Bedroom was adequate and clean, and good value for the price. Not a fan of staff absence between 5pm and 8am, when systems went on automatic, but some may prefer that arrangement. However, I would recommend the Taanilinna Hotell and would have rated it 4.5 stars if the scoring system allowed that option.

It was nice to be in the heart of the old town, especially in such a beautiful town. Breakfast was served near an old tower, which was a real plus. The hotel was clean, the staff helpful, the room very quiet and the bed comfortable. On the negative side, the room was a bit too small and there was no space for anything on my side of the bed! Also, it would have been nice to have a kettle in the room. The only option to have a hot drink in the hotel was to use a machine by the reception and pay!

I had a very nice weeklong stay in a great location in the old city. I was here on business but the room itself was quite beautiful and could have easily made for a romantic getaway. The hotel staff was warm and friendly, and the location in the old town is great and I could walk everywhere. I would definitely come back here!

Great location in Old Town, great service! The floorboards squeak like Grandma's house in this 200 year old building, and the beds are a bit older, but so much charm and friendliness! The ladies at the reception desk are so friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend!

You cannot beat the location. And if you are looking at this property it’s likely because it’s chic and historical. Which it is; some of the furnishings are undoubtedly 100 or more years old. Including the mattresses. After one night I was in pain; the second I tried the pull out sofa. It was no better. So a 95/100 for that.

Resepsjonen hadde litt kort åpningstid for mitt opphold, men betjeningen løste dette supert. Og selvom resepsjonen var stengt fikk resepsjonisten ordnet med taxi bestilling til tidlig neste morgen. Sjarmerende lite hotell som ser ut som det har mye historie.

ヘルシンキからフェリーで渡って夜に着き，歴史街で夕食を食べ，翌朝2時間徒歩で観光して昼にフェリーでヘルシンキに戻ったが十分に楽しめた．エコノミー仕様の部屋に泊まったので部屋内の通路は狭いが，設備は必要十分で価格も抑えられて良い．観光地に近いので歩いて周れることもポイントが高い．フェリー港からはタクシー(BoltやUberなどの配車アプリを入れておくこと！)で約3ユーロと安く，前情報では歩けそうな距離だと思ったが現地で見た感じ大体どこでも歩く私でも歩くのを躊躇する距離だったので，素直に往復タクシーをお勧めする．朝食の時にコーヒーの淹れ方を教えてくれたり，フロントの人がよく話してくれて感じが良かった．

Very unique property. Great location for old city and public transit. Rooms are very simple and breakfast is pretty minimal compared to other hotels in the region. Front desk staff was fantastic. Only complaint (besides breakfast) was that the VIP room upgrade was not given.
