This stay was disappointing. The pool was not open and the hall floors were dirty. The hotel badly needs updating. Breakfast was dismal. There are a lot of hotel choices in the same area. I'll definitely pick another one next time.

I give this place a one star for simply having hot water. The place allows dogs, fine. Clean up after them! Strange brown stain on the floor greeted us as we placed our bags in the room. The shower faucet is sticking out of the wall to allow any creature from the walls to enter the room. We had to get our door card replaced 3 times and were lectured on the last time. They had ice machines on each floor. However, we were told the only one that worked was on the first floor. That ice machine gave you 10 nuggets if you were lucky. The ice machine stood next to an empty vending machine. The gym had a filtered water system that did not work. There were no weights in the gym. But good luck to you, someone brought in their dirty 7lb hand weights (2) from home. The pool was closed, thank goodness because it looked like a crime scene may have occurred there at one time or they abandoned it 20 years ago. Back to the room….there was a nasty brown stain on the bathroom wall that I chose not to imagine what it could possibly be! But to finish off this terrible experience we were greeted by a ROACH on night 2!!! By morning of day 3 as we were getting ready to leave, ROACH number 2 came by to bid us farewell! As we walked down the hall we were reminded how awful this place is by the doors that didn’t close and looked broken into!! DO NOT STAY HERE! You are wasting your money and possibly taking a creature home with you! I am going home to burn my pillows!

The pool had green water in it. The breakfast only had waffles, muffins & cereal as well as cold sandwiches. Would like to see an upgrade to the breakfast which would include eggs and sausage.

They turn off the AC in the hallways after like 5 pm. Checked in and was sweating, was like 80 in the hallways. Ac was on in the room which was fine. Carpet was not great shape, ice machine was on 1st floor only so had to wonder the floors looking for a working ice machine in 80 degree hallways. 3 out of 5. Staff was nice. Room was ok, but bathroom towel rack was all busted.

Hotel is undergoing renovations, I hope our room wasn't one of the completed ones. Outlets/lights didn't work, furniture was in rough condition, TV remote didn't have full function (power and volume not working), toilet ran through if the lever wasn't lifted after flushing, shower curtain leaked all over the bathroom floor, paint splatter everywhere, hair dryer falling off the wall, bed platform was broken, dust/mold on back of bathroom door, it was hard to find employees when you needed anything, breakfast coffee was empty by 8am, waffle batter was gone too, sausage was overcooked. It wasn't all bad, the linens were clean, the heater was quiet and worked well, it was quiet in the hotel and the staff was friendly when you could find them.

The pool water had no chlorine, sheets had stains, air conditioning worked seldomly, room had an odor, there were bed bugs in some of my family’s rooms. Staff was great, however the facility is a no.

We stay in ground floor room near the front desk and could smell pot in the hallway. The walls of the room were very dirty. The carpet looked very dirty and was. A picture was missing from the wall but the hardware was still there. Bugs were found in the room. There was molding missing in the bathroom and the plumbing for the shower head and faucet moved like it wasn’t attached to anything. I will not this place to anyone.

I thought the staff was kind and helpful, but the facility itself is worn and in need of updating and care. The carpets looked dirty, there was mold in the shower corners, saw 2 little cockroaches, lots of dust in the room and the breakfast options were very limited. They ran out of food and coffee.

Stay was satisfactory. On arrival room door would not close, damaged hinges. Bed platform had metal bars sticking up that could caused injury if hit. Were supposed to keep the mattress in place, however mattress was too small to cover bars. Next morning cable was out.

The water noise is constant all throughout the evening and night constantly turning off and on every few seconds. Something is wrong with their pipes. The cleaning is not thorough - the tub drain was not clean, half used toilet roll, tissue box only had 3 or 4 sheets in it. Breakfast is all cold and sugary items only.

The only good thing about this hotel was oddly enough the bed slept great, but the place REALLY needs a serious makeover badly! Not sure if the AC units have ever had the filters cleaned either.

The check in process was great. And the young woman at the desk had only stopped in for a minute for the lady on duty, but was very friendly. We were on the second floor room 216 and once we entered the room, the smell smacked us in the face. I’m not sure how to describe it other then it was a commingle of cigarette smoke and sweaty body order. It was in every thing that the room had. Carpet , linens , window curtains, even the towels. We are not smokers and we were supposed to have a non smoking room. We only booked for one night and only stayed there long enough to sleep and shower the next morning. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were great but we won’t be staying here again.

Checked in and was sent to a room on the third floor that had a key pad when I was given a key card. They supplied the code, and that room had a leaky toilet and hair on the sheets. They moved me to another room where the door was partially off the hinges. It made it difficult and loud to open so I stayed there, but bought my own sheets to make sure it was sanitary.

Stayed here for race weekend in Martinsville. Only about a 30-40 minute drive from the track from here. Hotel had everything that we needed. Had a great ice machine so that we didn’t have to purchase ice elsewhere before the race. Some other reviews in the past said this place was in not great condition, but I did not experience that. It looks like everything has been renovated since then. The hot water in both the sink and shower was hot instantly which amazed me. Only issue we experienced was the tv. Only had 5-7 local channels, and there was no way to change the input on the tv or remote to hook up a streaming device that I brought. It wasn’t a huge dealbreaker for myself but it might be for other guests. This hotel also has free breakfast which was another plus. It does change every day on what there is to offer, but there always is something for everyone’s liking. I would definitely be willing to stay here again!

When I checked out Saturday morning, I was going to discuss it with the desk clerk. A couple of times, I checked the desk and a sign was posted that they were away the desk. So after three attempts, I just dropped my key over the ledge and left. The breakfast bar was not replenished Friday am. as well as Saturday am. I chose this hotel as I stayed here in the past and it had a breakfast bar. With a large group of paying customers, I would think the hotel staff would have been more conscious of the breakfast bar. I also had to get the desk clerk Thursday evening to show me how to access the television. She said she was used to fixing this tv because with the renovations, the tv's were not program correctly. it took several minutes to get the tv online to work. It was very frustrating. Everytime it was turned off, i had to try to get it back online. Frustrating. I feel all of these concerns could be fixed.

Upon check in, the woman at the desk greeted me and was very pleasant. There was a woman off to the side behind the desk speaking with the most foul language I’ve ever heard. F word left and right. No professionalism whatsoever. Our first night they were doing some sort of construction on the first floor. We could hear the loud noise(on the third floor) until late. And whatever was being used as chemicals for the project was being vented out the door and smelled so strong we put a towel by our door to stop the fumes from coming in

The hotel was decent, the bathrooms were awkward with how the doors placement was but the breakfast was good, and the beds were comfy. Our favorite part about the entire hotel was Tasha! We came with a large group who got 3 rooms total and she made sure we were on the same floor and taken care of very well and she is just a beautiful person inside & out! Definitely deserves a raise! The only downside is for a strip that has 3 hotels in a block there sure isn’t any walkable stores or restaurants around which is weird but overall would definitely book again.

Absolutely filthy and disgusting, the breakfast was gross. The room smelted like urine. The carpet dirty and damp the bed was definitively was not a king size. The surrounding area was extremely unsafe. I would not recommend for anyone to stay here and I will be filing a claim this week.

We came for a concert and stayed for the night. Very clean and the staff is amazing. It has all of the amenities we needed. It’s also in a great location close to coffee shops and restaurants.

We will never stay there again. Noisy, poorly-maintained facility in a bad part of Danville. We had to have our room changed when I complained about elevator and vending machine noise. Better hotel options to choose from.

Good location for our travels. Suite was large but could have an updated couch. Comfortable bed & quiet surroundings. Bath needs a bit of updating also but overall we were satisfied; did not stay in room at any length, attending college baseball game.

Stayed here for race weekend in Martinsville. Only about a 30-40 minute drive from the track from here. Hotel had everything that we needed. Had a great ice machine so that we didn’t have to purchase ice elsewhere before the race. Some other reviews in the past said this place was in not great condition, but I did not experience that. It looks like everything has been renovated since then. The hot water in both the sink and shower was hot instantly which amazed me. Only issue we experienced was the tv. Only had 5-7 local channels, and there was no way to change the input on the tv or remote to hook up a streaming device that I brought. It wasn’t a huge dealbreaker for myself but it might be for other guests. This hotel also has free breakfast which was another plus. It does change every day on what there is to offer, but there always is something for everyone’s liking. I would definitely be willing to stay here again!

The water noise is constant all throughout the evening and night constantly turning off and on every few seconds. Something is wrong with their pipes. The cleaning is not thorough - the tub drain was not clean, half used toilet roll, tissue box only had 3 or 4 sheets in it. Breakfast is all cold and sugary items only.

The property was well laid out and well taken care of. The only thing I noticed was a couple towel hangers could be tightened up and the building exhaust fan for all the bathrooms did not seem to be running. Breakfast was awesome! Staff was great!

They didn’t have breakfast until 9:00 the manager said that they don’t cook hot breakfast after 8:00 and didn’t have nothing out at before 8:00 and didn’t have syrup for the waffles and what the gravy and eggs had been out for a while

Hotel is undergoing renovations, I hope our room wasn't one of the completed ones. Outlets/lights didn't work, furniture was in rough condition, TV remote didn't have full function (power and volume not working), toilet ran through if the lever wasn't lifted after flushing, shower curtain leaked all over the bathroom floor, paint splatter everywhere, hair dryer falling off the wall, bed platform was broken, dust/mold on back of bathroom door, it was hard to find employees when you needed anything, breakfast coffee was empty by 8am, waffle batter was gone too, sausage was overcooked. It wasn't all bad, the linens were clean, the heater was quiet and worked well, it was quiet in the hotel and the staff was friendly when you could find them.

The people that work here are the sweetest people, they truly are what makes the hotel stay afloat. The actual hotel however was pretty bad. Plumbing problems, smells, damaged bathrooms, no shampoo, electrical wires exposed from ac unit.

We stayed in the same room twice, a week apart. We reported that the carpet was sticky & had stains, the toilet paper holder fell out of the wall & the shower faucet was missing a screw & fixture was loose.
