We liked the location. Lots of food nearby and fun things to do. However we had issues with the key card from the moment we got there until leaving. Probably went to the office over 10 times during a 2 day stay to get a new card. Also the hot tub was murky and had a dirty residue around the rim and I actually have a rash from staying there.

The property was wonderful and the staff was welcoming. My only problem was the fitness center which had very poor air conditioning. I’m not into hot yoga and fitness centers are usually very cool to encourage workouts. I hope that this will be corrected by our next visit. Otherwise, the stay was excellent.

Booked this to enjoy the pool and hot tub. They were not working. There was nothing on the hotel’s website to indicate this. Decided a hot bath would be a good substitute. Bath tub plug didn’t work so couldn’t get tub to fill. TV was a large smart TV that they advertised we could cast our Netflix to. But couldn’t connect to the internet. When we called the front desk, they said the TVs were new and “hadnt been configured yet.” So basically, nothing was as advertised. Except the hot breakfast.

Tesla level 2 charger worked great! The receptionist turned on the breaker for us and we were able to charge our model y up to 100% for our drive up to crater lake. Sounds like the other 2 chargers were maybe not working?

It would be five stars but the indoor pool area was dirty. The floors and shower area has clearly never been cleaned. I don't like that there are no towels and no one told us at checkinthat we needed to go to the office and get towels before going to the pool. The hot tub was the real problem, it looked like someone straight up dropped a deuce in there and then the pump and the bubbles just churned it up into a filthy brown soup with brown foam on top. That might be because the toilet in the only bathroom wasn't working. Otherwise the room was nice if you like really soft mattress and the people were nice.

The only reason not a five star was that the disinfect smell in the rug, became over powering as the night progressed. We arrived late so did not have the energy to change room. Woke up with taste of soap or cleaning solution.

It cost $175 for a one night motel stay. All rooms look out over parking lot with a McDonald's next door. Bedding and linens were clean. Evening front desk person was very friendly. Breakfast included but I did not attend. Carpeting needs to be removed and upgraded to at minimum a faux wood. Property looks recently improved. Mold growth under paint room 226 bathroom. Light bulbs need to be cleaned as there are brown residue from condensation.

On Christmas’s Eve right after we checked into the room, we checked under the mattress to check for bed bugs. We found 3 tiny bugs (~5mm) that Google lens identified as roaches. So we don’t stay any longer and found another hotel. The manager called us back the day after Christmas and said they’d had their Pest Control team check the room and found nothing and that they’d refund our money except for a $50 “cleaning fee” since we had undone the sheets!

Upon arrival, we walked into the hotel room and I noticed the trash can on the bathroom counter. I then noticed that there was an unflushed toilet left. The bathroom also had a window that needs a shade or a curtain. In the morning, the sun comes through that window and is right on your face and it heats up the bathroom terribly. Also, they were 4 huge horse flies inside the screen so I couldn’t even open up the window. The area around the window was full of cobwebs. It clearly had not been cleaned. The staff was friendly but I would not stay here again as the room left much to be desired.

We had to request a different room because the first one was infested with flies. The condition of the chair and carpet in the room is pretty off putting, but the beds and shower were nice. Nice breakfast service in the morning. But come on, give customers a bottle of $0.25 Kirkland water vs charging $1.50. That’s just rude.

The room including the beds were covered in ants and when we told the staff they just shrugged their shoulders and said okay. The hot tub was broken also. Overall the experience was not great. Won’t be staying there anymore which is sad because we use to stay here every time we were down to see family

Honestly everything was good here apart from the bed. I rented two rooms and most hotels have firm beds. One did and the other rooms bed was so plush soft that it was unbearable. I was in constant discomfort and pain. Super soft mattresses are fine for really small people who won’t sink into it to much. That bed tried to swallow me alive! 😂

The cost was not worth being kept awake all night by revving motorcycles and people screaming in the parking lot. I get the hotel maybe didn’t realize they rented a bunch of rooms to a MC but when they arrived, maybe managing their all night noise could have happened. I’ll stay at the much cheaper Motel 6 next time.

The hotel itself is probably pretty old but the rooms have been newly renovated top to bottom. I was very pleasantly surprised with how nice the rooms were and the bed was super comfy. Breakfast restaurants within walking distance.

I checked in around 11-1130pm. Went to room, after getting my bags out of car - key didn’t work. Packed the car back up again, drove back to front desk, got re-keyed, drive back to room, key didn’t work, got back in car - saw a man come out of the same room, obviously that room was taken. This happened 3 more times, being rekeyed for different rooms, with the last time, the gentleman at front desk came with me - this time the key worked, but there was chain across the door from the inside, obviously that room was being used as well. Finally went back to check in area - the front desk gentleman checked out a different room to make sure it wasn’t occupied - it wasn’t and was able to stay in that room. Each time I had to go back and forth between rooms and front desk - was getting in and out of car, in the rain. The gentleman at the front desk was very kind and mentioned there was a new worker on earlier that day and might not have been “marking off rooms correctly”. I’ve stayed at this facility multiple times before as I drive frequently from Washington to California. I can’t imagine how I would feel if I was on the other side of those doors if someone else was trying to enter my room if I was sleeping. The most comical part - the front desk gentleman - each time he needed to key a new keycard - it took about 5-6 different keycards before a new card could be made - and he mentioned that “the cards were getting old and not all of them will work anymore”.

Gabby (front desk) was extremely helpful and pleasant Arranged for use of pool elsewhere. This one was closed. Even found an umbrella for me to borrow in Pouring rain. All staff was great esp housekeeping. Busing lady attending breakfast room was very efficient and pleasant

When we arrived, we waited 15+ minutes for check in as the front counter person was away from the desk helping another customer in a room. I think the place needs more then 1 employee working. There were at least 4 other people behind me waiting as well. Other then that, everything else was good.

Not as advertised. No bakery and food service only in the morning. The front desk clerk was not friendly and check in was unwelcoming. Once I settled into my so, so room, I poured myself a cup of wine into a supposedly sanitized cup and it had a hole in it. Wine went everywhere. What a mess. Next cup had hair stuck to the rim. Went to the front desk to report the situation and still unfriendly clerk said “sorry about that” and “ we have wine for sale.” Nothing about getting me new cups. Bottom line, disappointing and the worst place so far on roadtrip.

They need to have more than one employee at the front desk checking people in. Not the employees fault. Rooms were mostly good with some places that weren’t cleaned well, carpet outdated, safe didn’t work and TV glitchy. No I didn’t call to have it fixed because I didn’t want to have to deal. Beds were comfy, hotel VERY quiet. Continental breakfast excellent, even if it took us a minute to figure out the “ticket” process. Chef made special Mickey pancakes for the kids. Pool was good temp and clean. Overall good stay. Not luxury, but we knew that beforehand and hotel was accomodating at getting us joining rooms. Thank you!

The immediate area around the property is not very scenic, close to freeway so some noise (room was OK for that). Was glad my wife didn't go for a walk in the neighborhood in the middle of the day. Room was OK, not inspiring. Carpet transferred lots of dirt to feet/socks. Cleanliness OK, not as outstanding as the proprietors stated at check-in. Staff very friendly. Breakfast fine if not fancy. The small fitness center was handy. Pool pretty small and seemed to be popular with kids.

Hotel was ok...nothing special. Acceptable rooms. Not worth the $230/nt. Remote to tv didnt work correctly. Front desk staff were nice and helpful. Breakfast was a bit concerning. We walked in right behind the "chef" (and only employee there at the time) when they opened. I was a little suprised to find there were already biscuits and gravy were already in the warmers......or were they there from the day before?????

This out of the way motel in Sutherlin is the best kept secret on I-5! The amenities are very nice, the beds are excellent, it’s quiet and very clean plus the breakfast offering is outstanding; they have a grill chef who serves real eggs (none of this powered egg buffet style stuff!) This place may not be fancy but the price is a bargain
