Studio 6 Las Cruces, NM Telshor

The pool has been down for several weeks and there is crazy, green stuff living in pool and hot tub. It’s smells horrible! And my room was looking at it! When you walked out of my room the first thing you see is green water with living creatures in it!

Check in time is 3 pm, we got there at 4:30 pm and our room had still not been cleaned. The evelvator was down the entire time were there. Also the the pool and hot tub were closed as well.

Elevator, and pool were out of service. If those had been working our stay would have been much better. Room was nice.

Call prior to my check in to know if pool was available they answered it was available when arrived it was not available 😞

There was a lot going on here. The pool was shut down for issues and there was a huge water leak into the entrance of the hotel. The elevator was terrifying and the button board was more than broken, we actually got stuck in it for a little while. The rooms were sub-par. Uncomfortable, smelly, and the bathrooms were dirty. Wouldn’t really recommend this place, even for a one nighter.

The manager and some of the front desk staff are great but the pool has been closed the last 3 times that we’ve stayed here, really disappointed

Elevator was not working, door to back parking lot not working with key card..

The place has too many maintenance issues. Door knob’s you turn up not down. Room key cards don’t work on entry doors. Ice machine out of order.

Room and an awful smell to and the bathtub had mold on it.

Room smelled room had stuff on counter. Toilet stain floor not swept.

The bathroom was very filthy. Had to put several towles on floor so wouldnt stand in dirty, mildew mold shower floor

This was one of the cleanest and nicest Motel 6s I have ever stayed at. Had an easy check in. Room was nice and the bathroom was awesome. The night shift lady that checked us in was very polite. We had no problems at all

Corporate should pay a visit to bring this property back into the decent Motel 6 fold. Something happened here that I cannot explain, but points to management issues. The room was dirty with stains on the floor and there was dried blood stains on the pillowcases. The only soap in the room was a half bottle of dishwashing soap and a can of Comet cleanser next to the toilet and brush. I don't remember a hotel room that had a toilet brush left in it. The front desk who checked me in was nice and capable, but she appeared to be the only one holding this place together. I'm glad I brought a sleeping bag on my trip because with the stains on the pillowcases I had zero faith that the sheets had been washed. I slept on top of the bed. I did not shower as it looked as unclean as the rest of the room. There was a thick layer of soap on the countertop with the sink and the sink in the bathroom had long hairs in it. The mirror was filthy too. I'm writing this while ensconced in another Motel 6 in Tucson that is everything I expect a Motel 6 to be: clean and in good order. This stay is going much better than the night in Las Cruces. Please rescue that location for your own sake or sell it off and let the transients take it over. thank you for reading my rant.

I could not check in at 3 I had to leave and come back hours later because my room was not clean yet, very irritating after a long drive. The property was not cared for nicely, outside was not kept up, neither were the hall way carpets, the halls stink. My room sheets looked dirty, the room was not clean, the showers, and tub looked like if had never been scrubbed, the floors are dirty!! And the bedding had a cigarette burn, when it’s supposed to be a non smoking property!! This was my first of many over night trips in Las Cruces, this will be the last time I stay here at Motel 6

Very clean, brightly lit property. The room was very nice with wood floors instead of carpets. The bathroom was immaculate; towels bright and white. It was enough to my liking that we booked a room the next week when we had to be in Las Cruces again. You can't go wrong for the price!

Bathroom was not clean when I arrived. There was blue tooth paste spit in the sink, the toilet appeared to have poop residue in it, and the bottom side of the toilet seat was filthy. The next morning I explained the condition of the room to the front desk and asked them to clean the room. They cleaned the bathroom, but didn't make the bed... There was a thick layer of dust visible on the desk under the TV. Paint peeling from tub surface. Couldn't get wifi to work.

Restroom was never cleaned from the previous guests stay. The trash was full. Hairs all over the restroom. I called the front desk and asked if they could clean it after I checked in. They never showed up to clean it. I saw housekeeping the following morning and let him know about it. He said he’d take care of it and didn’t.

Room was not cleaned and the bed sheets wasn’t changed and hairs all over the sheets. The pillows had saliva stained. I took it down to the front desk and get new pillow and bed sheets. The front desk staff she was nice though. The bathroom sink wasn’t clean still had the previous costumer’s toothpaste all over the sink and shower had lots of hairs. I cleaned it with my Clorox wipes that I normally brought with me. The elevator smells fishy or moldy . The vent in the bathroom was held by one fastener which poses a safety hazard when it falls on a person using the restroom. I’m glad didn’t stayed too long in there.

This motel was a big disappointment. No coffee maker in room No hangars No iron or ironing board. (Had to ask the front desk for both items) No clock Room smelled musty Walls were paper thin. Kept hearing people in other rooms and hallways. Very annoying.

Make sure you don't check in late, they stuck me in a room that the AC didn't work when I called the front desk told me you just have to reset it every few hours they were aware it was broken after it tripped every 45min - 60min a few times I called and they told me open the window they'd discount the room. But then they said they couldn't do it because it was an Expedia pre-paid reservation. Then I emailed the General Manager and still no Credit.

Large room was great

The exterior looks nice but this is an old motel. Rooms and beds badly need updated. We booked two nights, had to wait almost an hour to check in! New manager from India or Pakistan was not yet familiar with the system so the nice lady at front desk had to work nonstop to check in people. After coming back from dinner we found people just checked into our room!!! It turns out that we went to the wrong room but we could enter the room with the given key so we did not know. After waiting almost another hour we moved to the right room and found out we could open but could not close the door. One of the door hinge was broken so once you open the door it would sag and cannot be closed unless you are strong enough to lift and forcefully close it. Another long wait for the young manager to come up and showed us with his strong biceps that he could close it. We told him we are seniors and not strong enough to do it. It was almost 10 PM and the motel was sold out so he offered to give us a refund to find another place. It was a pathetic offer since it was late and cold outside so we decided to stay hoping to get another room the next night. We hope you enjoyed reading this review. Our recommendation: be aware of Motel 6. :(

The hotel was adequate. There were dips in the floor of the room (we were on the second floor) and significant dips in the bathroom floor with lots of broken tiles. There was old dirt and grime in the corners. The sheets did not fit the bed correctly. The small fridge was nice to have and it had a small freezer. The floors had bits of detritus and there were sticky spots on the counters. There are no drawers, but just cubbies for your clothes. The suitcase stand was much appreciated. The beds were meh; not completely comfortable but not terrible either. It was fairly quiet. Check in was easy, and the desk clerk was efficient, if kind of curt. Other than the fridge and microwave, this is a bare bones hotel. Fine for a place to sleep after working, but not for a vacation.

There was no AC(no power), no coffee maker in the first room. After several hours wait, I was switched to another room. There was leftover coffee filter there. There was only one lady there but it was a busy Friday afternoon/evening.

the bathroom is super tub great water temp perfect. the tv selection could be better maybe u tube or something or maybe i just don't know operation enough. the coffee is horrid exstreamly strong and i like coffee, it was bitter as well and need cups larger than thin 2 oz water cups. other than these mattress was a bit lumpy, staff was great all other things were wonderful.

Check in I waited while clerks carried a conversation for about 15 minutes about work issues, not professional when a patron is right there hearing all the problems of the hotel I’m about to stay in. Pool and spa were not working. Still paid full price. Room was clean, bed was comfy.

Friendly staff

Owner needs to hire more staff- clerk at my afternoon check in had to work overnight, was only getting 8 hrs off before expected back at work again the morning I checked out.

Check in was super fast and friendly

There was no one at the check-in desk. We had to wait about 10 minutes for someone to show up. When she did, she was rude. The hallways smelled weird, and the carpets were stained. The rooms were reasonably clean.

I called ahead for a reservation starting 5/8 saying I would be delayed and wouldn't be able to check in until 5/9 and asked that the room would be held for me. I was told that the room would be held for me. When I showed up on 5/9 to check in, I was told that there was no room for me, that the reservation had been cancelled and was turned away. Needless to say this was a major inconvenience, something that no traveler should have to endure!!! Rude, unfeeling, unhelpful attendant at the front desk...and I'm a visibly disabled person.

Front desk staff is amazing.

We had a big issue with our reservations there at Motel 6 in Las Cruces Nm We got there at 5 p.m. I proceeded to give her our reservations and Joann the supposed Manager stated she could not do amything with it because it was between expedia and me. I argued with her and tried callimg expedia but she finally called a second number amd got them after two hours. I asked for dowmstaors due to my husband being partially blind We ended up stairs on the top floor and at the very end of the floor. So we went on up with our stuff on a broken cart. The mext day the elevator broke down. The same person Joann did not say one word until we.were at the front of elavator then tells us it is broken. We finally get to our room and there was a curtain rod and curtain in the middle of the hall. We get into our room the windows were dirty the lights over beds did not work. The next day I talked to another clerk and was told Joann w as not the manager and was told she could of changed our reservations and taken care of it. By then we just stayed due to already paod for the stay. We jave photos pf the room and it will be tje last time we ever stay there again.

Tried to check in early due to time we arrived. General manager was very rude when I asked if it was possible to check in early. Told me after looking around that I could check in early for an extra $10. Needless to say I will never stay at a Motel 6 again. She let others check in while we waited in 100 degree weather. So unprofessional and should be relieved of her position.

the area was safe. Good restaurants close by. The only sorta bad thing was the traffic on Telshore made it difficult to drive during certain times of the day.

Newer property in a nice neighborhood. Would definately recommend this Motel 6.

The room was nice n comfortable. The location was great. Plenty of restaurants were near n even walmart was just right around the corner, another thing that i liked about the location was that the mall was right up the road. I will definitely recommend Las Cruces, Telshor Motel 6 to friends and family. This will be the place i stay when i come to Las Cruces.

This hotel was expensive for what you got. Which is a cup of coffee in the morning. No water in rooms. No tissue. It was passable for cleanliness. But was not Clean by any measure. It was at a convenient location for us. To I 25.

The place wreaked of very heavy chlorine and other funky smells. My room door was hard to shut all the way. When I came back to the room one afternoon my door was ajar because cleaning staff didn't make sure door was shut all the way. I'm glad I didn't have any valuables in the room. If you can swing it I would strongly advise spending a little more money on a nicer place, this Motel has some sketchy clientele staying there. I didn't have any trouble but I was very wary while I was there. The staff was very nice I must add.

I recommended to stay in this property located at las Cruces NM, near to the Sam's Club.

The things we didn't like was having to change rooms because the AC was not working but other than that everything worked out and everything was really great only wish you all had breakfast in your hotel but grateful you had coupons hopefully next time you don't have to change rooms and we can use our coupons to eat somewhere. We also truly love that you are pet friendly.
