Rooms comfortable but very noisy. Room wasn’t serviced during our stay. Only one out of the three lifts worked. Breakfast finished at 9:30, not 10am as reception told us. Woman in breakfast room unhelpful and rude.

Close enough to all attractions. Spacious rooms. Bathroom fan didn’t work and got steamy but not an inconvenience. Area didn’t feel overly safe upon arrival but Valet outside took care of it immediately. Breakfast was very good compared to other hotels I’ve been to in that price range. Elevators 1/2 didn’t work and we were forced to wait for just one elevator for all guests. 11th floor with bags was not an option. Ice machine very clean but no vending machines in hallways. Small variety store beside from desk for snacks was available but on ground floor. All in all, I’m pleased with the hotel. True Marriott experience.

Great location with restaurants nearby. Hotel has 3 elevators but only 1 was working. Last day hotel was packed and elevator took about 10 minutes to finally be able to get on

Amazing place to stay but will more than likely never book this location again. After spending a lot of money for a nice room to stay, they make you pay the valet fee $40 a day or you have to pay for the parking deck beside the hotel which is $45 a day. We booked a room for 2 people and had 2 cars so paying almost $600 for a room then having to pay almost $200 more for 2 cars to park for 2 days is ridiculous and not realistic. Also the website says does say that they have $40 valet services but no information about how it is required or how much parking is going to cost in the parking deck.

It was easy walking to many restaurants and it was a clean hotel with a nice contemporary breakfast,however the valet costs 40 dollars a night ( typical for that area) and when we were leaving in the morning there was no valet person to get our car and we waited 35 minutes. Finally the lady behind the counter was able to retrieve our keys so my husband to get the car.

Great stay at this property! Our only issue was the cost of parking/valet and this was due to our lack of research before staying in this type of city area. We didn’t expect to pay so much for parking but the hotel was clean, nice staff and the complementary breakfast was good!

Parking options were horrible. We had to pay $25 parking every time we left the parking deck. They were trying to force us to pay for valet parking. Also we called guest service for towels and rags and never received them!!!

Love this hotel, stayed there before will stay there again. HOWEVER, do NOT use their valet. Absolutely horrible. Yes, we were there on a busy day but took NEARLY and hour to get our car. Each valet would disappear for 15 minutes at a time with only one car. They started using an app which initially I thought was nice but it did not good and actually seemed to slow the process. Even when we got there, had to wait while a valet chatted with a lady who didn’t even use the service for 5 minutes. May have been helpful to her but by the time we got up to then there were 5 more cars behind us.

Our bed linens had not been changed from previous guest. We had spots of blood smear and hair on them. So gross. I asked the front desk for clean sheets and the clerk said,"fine" I will send some up. No apology. When a guy came up with two sets of linens, he just smirked and said " here." Did not offer to put the sheets on. So we did ourselves. This is not our usual experience with any hotel and especially not with Marriott brand. The next morning in reporting to the desk clerk our experience, she was very nice and apologetic.

This is the second time I’ve stayed here and both times the bathroom was not cleaned. There were hairs all over the floor in the bathroom and the shower walls. Additionally, I found some weird food stains on the desk that weren’t cleaned. Do not stay here if you want something clean!

Overall a great stay. The property is modern, clean and in an excellent location. Walking distance to everything. The room was ver clean and comfortable.

Clean room, great location. Came into town for the night with my 18 year old son and his friend for a concert at spectrum. I felt so safe being close by them but allowing them to be independent.

Room was dirty, Old hair in the towels, The sheets were worn and did not fit the bed. Stains everywhere. Got the job done but for that much money I expected a little nicer.

Property is in a great location. Staff were kind. The bedroom was clean, however our bathroom was not. The shower had mold in it. Also, our room was right beside train tracks which we were not aware of and the train kept us up all night.

I was very impressed with the room, it exceeded my expectations for a hotel of this "star level". Everything was in very good condition and it was roomy and comfortable. It had all the core amenities, microwave, fridge, walk-in shower, etc. If I was going to nit pick, the couch (which was a pull out) could have been comfier; and had more lighting around it (it was hard to read on it). And the bed had built-in nightstands on either side, but only power built into one side. Continental breakfast was standard fare. While you can park in an adjacent parking garage on you own (which actually cost more), the hotel only offers valet parking. Which was fine until the morning of our departure where we had to wait over 30 minutes for our car.

I was able to have a Suite while away for a conference, and the room was huge! The property was clean, quiet, and my views of Uptown Charlotte were beautiful. There were plenty of items at breakfast for all dietary needs.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was nice and spacious!

The room was clean and the main areas were clean and modern and updated. The window in the room leaked and there was a lot of rain for the 2 days we stayed. We had some clothes placed on the floor and the window leaked onto the carpet where the clothes were so when it was time to leave we had to pack sopping wet clothes. The bathroom sink was also not draining well. And one of the blinds on the windows was not opening and closing properly.

The only real drawback to this place is the train tracks and noise from them. Other than that I would give it five stars. Great place to see a game at the arena!!

Hotel was nice, good amenities, great location. Room need quite a bit of TLC...ripped wallpaper, missing tile in bathroom, soap/shampoo dispenser not attached to wall, laminate damaged at frig/mic cabinet, desktop chipped and scarred.

Hotel is near a big parking building and railroad. Throught the night, several larm in the cars were went off and took a looooong time for them to be turned off. Also you hear constant noise from train. It was after 2 am before we could even sleep. And woke up from the sounds around 6 am. Also thete was one person at the front desk thru our stay. Good luck if you needed something. Not sure if i stay in this particular branch again.

Train bells all the time

Hotel was average with the biggest problems being cleanliness and lighting/bathroom issues. The staff was friendly and breakfast was pretty good. Lighting in the room was not good. The light that actually gave off good light was the bathroom and its door was glass so if this light had to be turned on at night it lit the room up. Also the door wasn’t exactly see through but you could see a pretty revealing silhouette. Room has some small dirt and trash in it as well.

The rooms were really spacious and clean. Walking distance to everything.

Front desk and valet personnel were rude. Treated guests as an inconvenience and gave terrible customer service. Valet acted ugly because we did not use their services. Not a friendly place to stay at all.

The hotel was fine but we did have a few issues on our stay. I tried to call the help desk and service department several times to get more towels I just gave up and use the dirty one we have . Then we pay for ballet parking it took over 45 min to get our car which I could park it somewhere else and pick up myself we didn’t use the car at all and we didn’t like they took so long to get during checkout basically we feel we over paid for a service we didn’t received. Unfortunately not a good experience overall and the Barthroom wasn’t clean there were some signs of dirt but since we couldn’t get in touch with service department or help desk I just dropped the card on the box and left . Hopefully they look into this and have someone to respond to guest needs . The place it’s on a Greta location but I was expecting a better experience.

Checkin was a DISASTER!!! We arrived around 2:00 for 3PM check in. I asked the front desk if we could check in early and they said no. No problem. I was told that my room should be ready around 3PM. About 2:30 a person from the front desk came to the lobby and said for the first 5 people that were there to come up. None of us really knew who the first 5 were. I went up and waited and was told that a room was not ready for me and my family, but should be in about 20 minutes and that they would come and let me know. After 20 minutes I went back up and there was not a 2 Queen room ready still. BUT, within about 5 minutes, a person who came in AFTER me got the 1, 2 Queen room that became available. I ended up waiting until about 3:20 to get our room. This hotel needs a better system to notify people about their room. I would highly recommend that they have a process of getting customers names in a list, based on when they arrived.

Checked in,the women in the front office was sorta rude.Once we got into the room we noticed there was only two towels and it was four of us so we called front office request two more towels. We waited and they did not provide us with them. Early Sunday around 5 am there was a couple on the next room arguing really loud that woke us all up.We called front desk from our personal phone because the phone in the room did not work. They told us that they were going to send security to check. We had to call once more.They did and the couple stopped arguing couple minutes and then continue to argue. The couple on that room were banging on the walls, we got up from our beds to feel more safe.As it was morning hours and one was trying to sleep and could not.I would of expect the hotel to take more action. I would not recommend this hotel.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at your SpringHill Suites location in Uptown Charlotte, North Carolina. I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration with the level of service and accommodations I encountered during my stay. Upon my arrival on Saturday afternoon, I was shocked to learn that the room I had booked in advance through Expedia had been sold. I had pre-paid for my room and expected a seamless check-in process, but instead, I was made to wait for at least an hour before being assigned a room. This was a frustrating start to my stay, especially after having made prior arrangements. To add to my disappointment, the room I was eventually given was not the one I had booked. I found myself in a hearing and visual disability room, which was not what I had requested or expected. Furthermore, the television in the room had no volume, rendering it practically unusable, and the refrigerator was also not functioning properly. As a loyal customer of Marriott, I have come to expect a certain standard of quality and service from your establishments. This experience was a stark departure from the usual excellence I associate with your brand. The combination of the room mix-up, the lack of functioning amenities, and the prolonged wait time significantly impacted the enjoyment of my stay and left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied.

The hotel staff were amazing!! They went out of their way to help me out! After I checked out my car wouldn’t start. My battery was dead and one of the staff members brought her car over and helped jump my car off. I am beyond grateful for kindness and hospitality I received. I will stay here again and I will recommend this hotel to friends if they are visiting Charlotte! Thank you so much!

Customer service was top notch! From kitchen,valets cleaning staff all the way to the front desk! Sasha was extremely helpful and courteous! I will recommend this hotel to all my friends and family. I was traveling with my elderly mother and she loved her stay as much as I did.

After leaving my credit card was charged over $300 for charges that should never have been charged. Valet, I didn't drive and another night's charge, after I pre-paid for my room in advance. When I called, they immediately credited my account but it appeared to be their normal procedure, to charge guests' cards. If I hadn't called, you would have $300 of my money for no reason. It appeared to be a scam.

The only thing I would say is that it is a loud location. Not the fault of the hotel but being downtown. If you don’t mind that then its the perfect place to stay 😊

Stayed here when we went to see the Eagles across the street at the Spectrum. Easy check-in. The website says they have a restaurant, not really. At 5 the bar opened and you could get a personal pizza, which was fantastic. But an actual restaurant no. The rooms were great and clean!

Check in was fast. Parking in the garage was free and there was plenty of spaces. This was probably the cleanest hotel I've stayed in. I tried to find something wrong and everything was perfect. Breakfast was great. Waffles, sausages, eggs, bagels, toast, with all the juices. Comfortable bed. Check out was quick. There are a lot of restaurants a short walk away.

The valet parking took so long for both entry and exit. At 9:00 in the morning there was no bagel, decaffeinated coffee, sausage.

The staff were great! The breakfast area gets congested and dirty during the weekend morning rush bust that’s to be expected. The hotel common areas were kept tidy and our room was clean. There was some construction going on around the outside and we were steps from the tram so there was lots of noise from it running through the city 24/7. Other than that we were steps away from great restaurants and night life. If you want great recommendations ask the OG in Valet. He has all the details

Found the front desk staff to be extremely pleasant and accommodating. The hotel was very clean overall. The proverbial free breakfast is as ubiquitously awful . My one real complaint was being that the hotel is located across from the Spectrum Center it can be very loud.
