Excellent room included comfortable king-size bed, sitting area, kitchenette, full laundry in-suite, and tasteful decor. Towels were super soft and oversized, free on-site parking, and a location walkable to many activities and restaurants but in a quiet corner of Charlottetown. Complimentary breakfast was hot and fresh with expansive selections for all tastes and diets. The only area for improvement is the need for a larger breakfast dining room, which was full almost all of the time and unable to accommodate every guest who wished to enjoy the excellent breakfast offerings.

Very attentive, professional, pleasant, and helpful staff. Very spacious room accomodations with a massage chair on every floor! Breakfast was very nice, with several different daily egg offerings, bacon, sausage, fruit, yogurt, several bread /bagel options, juice and coffee. Very clean food area and well attended. Wife and I have been traveling for over two weeks and this was a gem!!

This is one of those rare "pleasant surprise" properties that turned out to be WAY better in person than the pictures looked online (and they looked GOOD online). The building and grounds are absolutely beautifully renovated and maintained. (Love the detailed history of the building) The courtyard out back was stunning and a wonderful place to sit in the evening. Staff was terrific - super helpful!! And the room was pretty much perfect...a small kitchenette-type setup, a sitting area, a desk area, and a big comfy bed, nice sheets, great towels, and all done very elegantly and with great attention to detail. And, yes, the breakfast room is in the basement, but staff went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed and there was plenty of hot (and cold) food to choose from. It was a very pleasant way to start the day! Highly recommend!

Great location within walking distance of all the sites in Charlottetown. Comfortable, clean room. The only things missing are a restaurant and bar but they can be found less than a 10 minute walk away.

This hotel was STUNNING!!! the rooms were gorgeous and spacious, the staff was fantastic, and the breakfast was incredible!!! Not your standard hotel breakfast - this was made fresh daily. And to top it off, each floor had a massage chair. No word of a lie, 10/10 would recommend!!!

The suite was beautiful and classy. Breakfast was hot, fresh and delicious. My only complaint was that the kitchen had some dried spilled coffee which looks like it was left from past guests. But other than that, it was amazing!

This was probably the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in. We were utterly in shock when we opened the door to our room to find out that it was literally a two bedroom apartment. It came complete with a full kitchen, living room, dining room two full bathrooms and two full bedrooms. There was even a washer and dryer in one of the bathrooms. It was spotlessly clean and we could’ve lived there.!! I cannot recommend this hotel enough!!

The room was exquisite, fabulous furniture, bedding, towels, and shampoo/conditioner. It is rated us five star and I would’ve expected help with luggage and although the breakfast was adequate, it was in a small cramped room. Also, the individual who checked us and did not even tell us about breakfast without me asking. If those items had been better, I would’ve given it five stars.

We stayed two nights. On the first night the shower put out warm water only, enough to give a chill and very unpleasant. I mentioned to front desk & they were going to get maintenance to come and fix it. The second day the shower was still only warm and not hot. Very inconvenient. At check out there was no type of apology, just that they will let the general manager know.

The Sydney was in a great location, with many good restaurants and a food hall withon a 4 block walk and ample free parking. Our room was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. The buffet breakfast was delicious with lots of options. We would definitely stay here again.

The room was really nice and spacious, the breakfast was a big disappointment- we had it one day out of our 5day stay. It’s in the basement and buffet style, everything was picked over and cold. No lattes or specialty coffee just coffee in a thermos, for a 5* hotel they served 2.5* breakfast.

The room was very comfortable and reception provided a kettle on request. For such a hotel we were sure that there was no swimming pool and an only a small outside seating area. However, what we were most disappointed with was the breakfast arrangements. It was served in a windowless basement with the food preparation area in the same room. Breakfast choice was limited-no cheese/ham/tomatoes. The cooked element was tepid and dishes were not labelled so at times it was difficult to discern what they were.
