Excellent facilities perfect location - close to beach & strip but quiet - loved it and would recommend and visit again

Ich hatte einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Stelios Gardens. Es handelt sich um einen familiengeführten Betrieb, und genau das macht den besonderen Charme dieses Hotels aus. Die gesamte Familie ist unglaublich herzlich, hilfsbereit und sehr zuvorkommend – man fühlt sich sofort willkommen und gut aufgehoben. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und gepflegt, es wird stets darauf geachtet, dass alles in bestem Zustand ist. Besonders positiv ist mir aufgefallen, dass jederzeit auf die individuellen Bedürfnisse der Gäste eingegangen wird – man merkt, dass das Wohl der Besucher hier an erster Stelle steht. Der Poolbereich ist ebenfalls sehr sauber und lädt zum Entspannen ein. Wer lieber ans Meer möchte, hat den Strand in nur wenigen Gehminuten erreicht. Zudem liegt das Hotel direkt in der Stadt, sodass man in unmittelbarer Nähe einkaufen, essen oder etwas trinken gehen kann. Insgesamt habe ich mich hier rundum wohlgefühlt. Die Kombination aus familiärer Atmosphäre, Sauberkeit, perfekter Lage und freundlichem Service macht Stelios Gardens für mich zu einer klaren Empfehlung. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder, denn mein Aufenthalt hat mir sehr gefallen!

Het is een gezellig kleinschalig hotel gerund door familie. Hét heeft een mooie tuin en een prachtig zwembad wat beide keurig onderhouden zijn. Onze kamer was netjes doch de badkamer vergt hier en daar wat onderhoud. Het ligt op loopafstand 5 min van het strand en 20 minuutjes lopen naar het oude gezellige stadscentrum van Malia. Hier vind je leuke gezellige authentieke restaurantjes met de heerlijke Griekse gerechten. Kortom het is voor herhaling vatbaar. Met dank aan Stelios die samen ( denk met z’n vader moeder en oma) ons verblijf tot een aangenaam verblijf hebben gemaakt!

Un établissement scandaleux avec un gérant qui méprise les clients. Il nous reçoit d'un air suffisant et nous réclame 8e/jour pour avoir le droit à la climatisation alors que c'était inclus dans les prestations payées chez Hotel.com Sans parler de la piscine, certes propre mais c'est de l'eau de javel à l'état pur. De plus, ils annoncent un studio équipé avec kichenette : or il n'y a pas de casserole, pas de couverts, pas d'eponge... Bref, rien pour diner dans le studio. Un hôtel à fuir... Un gérant qui ne représente en rien le bon état d'esprit des Crétois. C'est honteux !

Gentilezza del personale e ospitalità in primis. Piscina sempre pulita, giardino con palme per un grazioso relax nel verde. Cibo ottimo. 5 stelle meritate tutte.

Newly renovated hotel, beautiful and very nice athmosphere. Room was spacious with kitchette which i didnt use, nice balcony, big bathroom. Water pressure in the shower very good! Around the hotel there are 2 big all inclusive hotels and one of them or some bar had every evening night show. My room was at the back of the hotel yard and the night show was just behind trees next the hotel. Very noisy. Very good breakfast with many options. Pool was nice and nice sun loungers. Beach just 5min walk, sunbeds rent by restaurant between the all inclusive hotels or just a empty beach on the right. Check in was confusingly bad, didnt feel welcome at all and had no info about anything (e.g. when the breakfast and how much, restaurant opening hours,). Felt more like i bothered them when the lady finally came to the reception. Check out was just "thank you", not interested how was my stay. Location was good just a short walk from the shops and restaurants, and old town also near. The street was guiet but didnt like the big hotels around.

I'd read prior reviews about grumpy owner and what with it being end of season, they could certainly use a break themselves but thought with ultimate politeness and a smile, we might have been warmly received, i was wrong on that point. The buildings that have been updated and refurbed looked lovely but unfortunately we were in the old part which while clean, was very basic. We didn't have hot water the first few days, it went from warm to tepid to get out in a minute! After other guests left tho, there was a nice shower to be had. We dined there the first night as it had been a long day and the outside area is gorgeous, its so beautiful to sit by the pool and eat, the gyros we had were lovely and we were very grateful for it, again though, i was made to feel like a pain in the bum for asking to place an order. The common areas of the property are lovely, beautiful gardens with lemons and limes growing from the trees, lovely sun loungers and a gorgeous pool. We went to get away and relax and it’s perfect for that. Its a 2 min walk to the beach which is lovely with lots of activities to be had, it's a 1 minute walk to the shops and restaurants of which many were closed with it being end of season. We did enjoy the great hospitality and food of The Bull restaurant and The Red Lion. A nice base to stay while exploring Malia but i do feel that we weren't particularly welcome or the management need a nice holiday to unwind after what must have been a very busy season.

Posizione eccellente vicino alla spiaggia e vicino alla movida notturna,la struttura è curata in molti particolari, questo almeno per quanto riguarda la sistemazione " de luxe", le altre avrebbero bisogno di un upgrade,ma tutto sommato accettabili, i proprietari sono gentilissimi e molto disponibili,piscina molto bella con lettini e sdraio a disposizione.

Séjour très agréable, logement très propre, très bonne restauration avec toujours de petite attention du personnel.

Es war zwar modern, aber alles so halbfertig und es gab eine Kakerlaken Plage, zuerst wurden wir vertröstet, haben aber dann ein anderes Zimmer bekommen. Auch die Handtücher wurden nicht gewechselt.

Die Superior Studios sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Ausstattung wirkt teilweise veraltet und einige Dinge waren nicht mehr voll funktionsfähig. Auch die Sauberkeit entsprach leider nicht ganz den Erwartungen – es schien, als würden die Zimmer nur oberflächlich gereinigt. Der Empfang war zunächst sehr freundlich, allerdings hatten wir den Eindruck, dass diese Freundlichkeit im weiteren Verlauf unseres Aufenthalts etwas nachließ. Ob das vielleicht daran lag, dass wir im Hotel selbst kaum etwas verzehrt haben, können wir nicht sagen – der Gedanke kam uns aber.

Super schöne Hotelanlage mit gepflegtem Garten. Restaurant war sehr gut und Einrichtung Apartment war auch gut. Maria und Giannis sind hilfsbereit. Nähe zu Strand und Zentrum Malia ist praktisch. Apartment wurde jeden 2. Tag geputzt, aber trotzdem war es etwas staubig unter Betten und hinter Sofa.

We cannot recommend this hotel. While the location is good and the building itself is nice, the service is very disappointing. Rooms are not cleaned daily despite paying for that service, and the towels were dirty and even torn. When we addressed these issues, the management downplayed them and was not honest about the situation. Unfortunately, these experiences overshadow all the positive aspects of the hotel. We decided not to return

Excellent hotel very clean with many dining options and close by shops even though we came end of season and it was quiet we very much enjoyed our stay hope to return soon

Der erste Eindruck beim Betreten der Anlage war toll. Gepflegte Anlage, schöner Pool und alles sehr hübsch dekoriert. Die Ausstattung der Zimmer ist okay aber das Bad eine Katastrophe. Wir hatten während des Aufenthalts fast nie warmes Wasser. Man sagte uns dann jeden Tag, wir sollen später duschen, da das Wasser erst warm wird wenn die Sonne scheint. Im April ist kalt duschen auf Kreta nicht angenehm. Die Ausstattung der Küche ist ebenfalls sehr einfach (Geschirr, Wasserkocher,Herdplatte). Das Essen im Hotel hat uns persönlich nicht geschmeckt. Wir würden die Unterkunft nicht nochmal buchen.

Fantastic place. 150 m (2 min) to the sandy beach without stones with convenient entry into the sea. The apartment is clean, safe, modern, fully equipped. Totally renovated. Greek flavor in everything.

Établissement géré par les grands parents jusqu’aux petits enfants . Famille très sympathique et très accueillante . Des bons plats typiques crétois fait maison..

Location was good just a short walk from the shops and restaurants, and old town also near. The street was guiet but didnt like the big hotels around.

I'd read prior reviews about grumpy owner and what with it being end of season, they could certainly use a break themselves but thought with ultimate politeness and a smile, we might have been warmly received, i was wrong on that point. The buildings that have been updated and refurbed looked lovely but unfortunately we were in the old part which while clean, was very basic. We didn't have hot water the first few days, it went from warm to tepid to get out in a minute! After other guests left tho, there was a nice shower to be had. We dined there the first night as it had been a long day and the outside area is gorgeous, its so beautiful to sit by the pool and eat, the gyros we had were lovely and we were very grateful for it, again though, i was made to feel like a pain in the bum for asking to place an order. The common areas of the property are lovely, beautiful gardens with lemons and limes growing from the trees, lovely sun loungers and a gorgeous pool. We went to get away and relax and it’s perfect for that. Its a 2 min walk to the beach which is lovely with lots of activities to be had, it's a 1 minute walk to the shops and restaurants of which many were closed with it being end of season. We did enjoy the great hospitality and food of The Bull restaurant and The Red Lion. A nice base to stay while exploring Malia but i do feel that we weren't particularly welcome or the management need a nice holiday to unwind after what must have been a very busy season.

Excellent hotel very clean with many dining options and close by shops even though we came end of season and it was quiet we very much enjoyed our stay hope to return soon
