We stayed here for a gymnastics meet with the kids. I liked that the layout has the open middle- good for kids and feels safe. The bummer was that there is no food available until 4:00. We had to order and bring in food from somewhere else. Also the pool was much smaller than expected. But overall it was nice

Unfortunately, we had roaches in our room. We were on the 7th floor. The AC also broke down in the middle of the night. The management was informed. I simply asked for a refund for one night but I have not received any word and it has been 6 weeks. We will not stay at this hotel again.

It was unacceptable. My son slept all night on a bed with sheets full of female menstrual blood covered sheets. The hotel never bothered to check the bed or worse, they never changed the sheet from the previous tenants. Unfortunately, we didn’t noticed it until we woke up. Horrible.

Toilet was broken and Tv not working in first room. Had to be moved to a second room (not the type we wanted and had booked). Second room the TV wasn’t working either. Bathtub drained very slowly, took forever for water to get warm and by time it did the tub was filling with water because of draining issue. 2 year old running around room and her feet were black because of how dirty it apparently was. Staff was nice, bar and breakfast area were suitable experience for a hotel. But overall would not recommend.

As soon as I entered the room, I walked into the shower area and there was hair everywhere on the wall. Disgusting seen as no body cleaned up. I couldn’t shower and I couldn’t wait to be out. I always book with hilton to make sure it’s great quality. I will never book with them anymore disgusting 👎

Parking was great. Room was not clean the entire 5 day stay. Called housekeeping several times for garbage and no one came I put garbage in hallway and it sat there for 3 days. My family had to change rooms 3 times for a clean and tidy room the 1st night didnt get to sleep until 1:30am. ZAK customer service was not good I had to wait to the next day to get a decent room. So the one night we smelled sewage all night.

Did not get the room we booked through Expedia because it was “over booked”. The room we got was full of mosquitoes. The second room we got, the toilet barley flushed, and was fairly loud due to the interstate.

Nice, clean, good location with quite a few restaurants within walking distance. The noise from the highway is a bit excessive for sure though, even with the door closed curtains drawn you can hear the highway very clearly in your room, made it difficult to sleep soundly.

Noce older hotel. Staff was great and attentive. General condition is dated and a bit run down. Lots of minor repairs need to be made, nut nothing affecting the stay. Just not worth the top dollar rate. Freeway noise was noticeable

The property is beautiful. However, they miss on a couple of things. We had no microwave in our junior suite. The water pressure was very low. If I attempted a shower during busy times, it was even lower. It was a nice suite otherwise. Everything was very clean and the little interaction we had with staff was very professional and polite.

The bed was like laying on a stack of cardboard boxes! I am usually not picky when it comes to hotel mattresses but this one was awful! In addition to the terrible mattresses we heard a loud clunking noise every 60 seconds ALL night long!

I called the hotel at 1:15 pm, to see if we could check in early since I had just gotten out of cancer scans at MD Anderson, and I was not feeling well. The “gentleman” that answered told me check in was at 4 pm and they would charge me $30.00 to check in early, I couldn’t believe it because I have never been charged for an early check in anywhere! I said, “oh wow, ok…” I told him, “ok, I guess we’ll wait” he didn’t say, thank you or ok, or anything, he just hung up on me. So needless to say we had to make time driving around in 111 degree heat until 3. At that time, I told my husband to head to the hotel and we would just pay because I was too nauseous and dizzy and in a lot of pain. We get here and were greeted by an amazing young lady that was very helpful. She explained that after 2pm check in is free. The other person I spoke to did NOT mention that! I have stayed in this hotel a lot of times, I come for Cancer scans and treatment several times a year and I had never encountered a rude employee until today!

I was there because it was close to Desert Banner hospital where I learned my brother was dying. I ran into difficulty booking with Hotels.com, but the staff at the Doubletree helped me get in touch with Hotels.com. After 2 hours! I was able to work out problem. The only "glitch" was the stopped up tub. We went out to dinner only to return to a bath tub with some black, stinky stuff in it. Figured out real quick that the drain was almost completely blocked. When we called for assistance, someone was there almost immediately. He quickly resolved the clog and disinfected the tub for our use. The room was quiet and comfortable.

The property itself was ok. It’s a bit outdated and although there were many restaurants nearby the area is in a bad part of town. The worst part was the party that was going on next door from 10pm until about 3am in the morning. We had called down to the front desk to complain about the noise from the party at least 2 times. First call down was about 12 midnight when we thought would’ve died down but didn’t. Then the other time was at 2am which were told there were other rooms complaining about the noise as well. But still nothing was done. We hadn’t fallen asleep until about 3:30am. I don’t think we will be staying there again. Especially since the staff didn’t seem to care that the party was going on for hours until early morning. We actually recorded videos to capture how loud they were to show the front desk and all they said was “Sorry! It must have been the wedding party.”No compensation. No free breakfast. No free night. Something would’ve been nice since we only got a few terrible hours of sleep.

What we liked best was the staff. Especially Nicaise DeFour. Checked in at 4PM with a guaranteed reservation for a king bed for the one night. Very important to us for multiple reasons. We were told that all king rooms had been let and therefore none were available. We explained again that we had a reservation which guaranteed such a room. The staff (no names) behind the desk said they were sorry but there was nothing they could do. Since we had to leave to attend a wedding we asked (kindly) if they could work the problem as we would be returning around 11 that night. Nicaise was behind the desk and informed us that no king room had been found. We went through similiar discussions as earlier and asked if she could check once more. Room found. It was a mini suite for $87 additional. But we had been guaranteed a king room at a given price and we did not feel we should pay. Given all the circumstances Nicaise graciously agreed and did what all exceptional employees should do and granted our reasonable request for our very short one night stay. As a consequence, Doubletree remains our preferred hotel when traveling.

Our room key didn't work went down twice because it wouldn't work.we had a maid get us in but then when we left we couldn't get in again. I asked for a new room which was fine but it was a smaller room. Front desk was very no big deal but after traveling all day it was a big deal! I wouldn't recommend this hotel to others

I loved this hotel as soon as I checked in! I was warmly greeted and given a fresh cookie that was so good. The breakfast buffet was also really delicious—though I do wish it had been included in the price of the stay. Room service was amazing, and our room was huge and very clean. I’ll definitely be staying here again!

Price was quite high compared to other properties so I expected it to be awesome. It was not. Got a room overlooking the cooling system. Girl at the desk didn't know that the phone system no longer works. Breakfast is not included but available for $30 per person. Really? No thanks. I will not be returning.
