The hotel is immaculately clean, the staff are so helpful, my adaptor broke and they supplied one during my stay, free of charge. They also let us store our luggage when we checked out and had a later flight. The breakfast has a huge selection of options and coffee and snacks were available throughout the day and night

The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and always went over and above. Lovely unexpected finishing touches. Breakfast was brilliant, bottled water was always available and would be passed to you unexpectedly. Garden terrace was a lovely space to relax in after a hectic day in the city. Snacks were left at various points in the hotel for you to help yourself to. Unusual for me to say I’d go back to a hotel but if I’m exploring Rome again, I will go back to this one.

Charme Spagna Boutique Hotel is centrally located to important sites where walking was safe and easy access to a variety of places. I will definitely stay again. The staff was very helpful in finding transportation from the hotel to the cruise port and airport. The hotel had small hallways and elevator suited for suitcases only.

Staff went above and beyond. Nice covered patio which also is part of breakfast area. We spent 5 nights there and walked to all tourist sites, never needed Metro or taxi. Transport to hotel on arrival and at departure to train worked like a charm.

Ficamos (casal e 2 filhos) num quarto confortável no prédio anexo do hotel. Um pequeno elevador ajuda a chegar no terceiro andar onde ficamos. Numa antesala comum de alguns quartos, máquina de café, água e algumas iguarias. No quarto também, todas as comodidades e aperitivos de boas vindas. Quarto ótimo com pequena varanda, tudo novo, limpo e funcionando bem. Bem localizado e com uma equipe muito atenciosa e simpática. Café da manhã super completo!

It was our first visit to Rome and we didn’t know what to expect. This hotel was in a great location, we were able to walk everywhere in under 30mins. The hotel room were very clean. We enjoyed being able to have breakfast before exploring for the day.

Hotel excelente, muito bem localizado. Quarto pequeno, mas extremamente organizado e limpo. Só achamos ruim o fato do ar condicionado ser central (não conseguimos ajustar dentro do quarto), daí, mesmo no inverno, fez um pouco de calor na madrugada e tivemos que abrir a janela (fazendo com que escutássemos o barulho da rua).

Di speciale nulla esclusa la gentilezza del personale . Direi più un affitta camere che albergo 3 stelle . Stanze pulite però sopra il letto c’era tantissima polvere . Da specificare che non tutte le stanze sono nel civico 37 ma pure al 42 . Come importantissimo specificare al arrivò che le persone delle pulizie ti entrano in stanza gratis anche secondo giorno per pulire ( ce la siamo ritrovati in stanza a porta chiusa al rientro dalla passeggiata ) . Per la posizione e costo va più che bene . Ps / alla ragazza della reception ( quella con occhiali ) super cordiale e bravissima a fare suo lavoro ( Ti aspettiamo a Firenze come ospite quando vuoi : ) )

This hotel is unique as it is spread across two apartment buildings - one floor in each. The rooms are nice, though some of the pictures shown on the website are not reflective of the rooms. We booked a room online that showed adequate space, but when we arrived our room barely fit the bed and we had no room for our suitcases. The hotel moved us when we pointed out this disparity without issue. The location is perfect to easily get places, but, you are in on a main road in the center and above restaurants. It can be loud. There is early construction, loud trash trucks at 1AM, etc. It would be inaccurate to label the area as “quiet.” This is true inside as well if you are near the main entry door and common area where they have a coffee machine and microwave. It wasn’t often, but we did have nights where we would hear the loud beeping and running of microwaves as late as 1AM outside our door. Other building tenants do not care or act like there is a hotel in their building. It was common to hear the family above us arguing quite often. Again, it comes with the territory - great feeling and atmosphere having your own apartment, and if that’s the experience you want, Charme is great. If instead you are looking for a more traditional hotel where you can escape it all in your room, I’d suggest elsewhere. This is just a preference thing, not necessarily a reflection of the hotel or their staff who was very polite.

We stayed in a junior suite. It was a decent size but there were no seperate area. King bed and twin beds were all in the same room. Location of the hotel was very central. It was also easy to get Ubers/Taxis. We stayed at other properties in Rome before where streets were too tight for cars to get in. Our room was also quite at night.

Great location, amazing staff all very welcoming and friendly, bed was comfortable, room was average/small for a double, there is a lift although it is small only really for 2 people or luggage. Walkable to Trevi and Spanish steps. Lots of shops and restaurants within 10 minute walk. Breakfast was average, something for everyone but nothing amazing (I’d recommend the cake). High quality cot for baby but no high chair which would’ve been a big bonus for us. Would recommend this hotel for couples, small families or short break in the centre.

Rooms and bathrooms were beautiful, nice location in relation to Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and metros. It felt a bit lonely in the dependance and not part of the hotel. Staff were good though.

Our stay was very pleasant, we really enjoyed visiting Rome and this property was central and made getting around very easy. The room was adequate, staff were approachable and friendly, and gave good recommendations on things to see and do. The room was not as big as we would have liked, and lacked sufficient storage for two people with just carry on suitcases, so if you're taking more than just carry on for your trip, definitely take a look at higher room categories as these may offer more room and storage. Would also advise that the room we were in is in a different building to the lobby, so checking in involved walking up a flight of stairs of one building, then back down and up a further three stories of a separate building a few doors down to get to our room, which was not ideal for us but we are relatively fit and could do it, it was just tiresome, especially after a lot of walking during the day. If you struggle with mobility, this is just something you may wish to consider. The bed itself was relatively comfortable though and the food options at breakfast were passable but not significant in range or exceptional in quality, but our stay definitely still represented good value for us.

Very friendly and helpful staff who went above and beyond to assist us. Great breakfast with an abundance of food choices. Excellent location within walking distances of many popular attractions and many very good restaurants nearby. The only drawback was there was very limited places to unpack clothing, so we had to live out of our luggage for five days.

Very happy with my stay at Charme Spagna Boutique Hotel. The hotel was in a great location however was not overpriced. The hotel was very clean and modern. The breakfast option was very good and a great value for the cost. The staff were super helpful in assisting with finding our way around Rome. Would definitely use this hotel if I returned to Rome and will recommend this hotel to others.

Upon booking last minute yesterday, the front desk was so kind. He thoroughly explained the process to access the room as well as other items. Modern room with wonderful A/C and plenty of available snacks. Walking distance to the Spanish Steps, which is next to the Metro.

Charme is located conveniently near the Trevi Fountain and is in walking distance to most attractions in Rome. There are loads of dining options around. The staffs there were friendly and they gave us a free upgrade for our honeymoon. Breakfast buffet spread is by far the best we have seen in Italy just unfortunate that we didnt get to enjoy for 2 days. They did offered to pack us boxes when we had to leave early to Vantican city. Overall we had an enjoyable stay just avoid room 33 if possible as the room has a sewage smell from toilet drainage and middle of the bed sinks which makes it uncomfortable to sleep through the night.

Amazing location, close to everywhere, such as Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and also shopping places. Our room was clean and big, nice bathroom. Breakfast is way better than I expected, cause I paid like 3 euros for breakfast, it has everything like cheese, olives, pancakes, granola, fresh fruits etc. Staff was helpful, we left our luggages for several hours after check out time. Thank you so much for everything, we are gonna stay here next time, that’s for sure

This sweet boutique hotel between the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain is a welcoming spot with rooms big enough for four. Our stay included dinner on the hotel terrace, and we were the only ones there, so we had our own personal waiter/bartender. Breakfast bar is varied and abundant. Staff was helpful and friendly.
