This place is an absolute gem. We are budget travelers and you get what you get sometimes, but Posada San Vicente exceeded our expectations. The room is on the smaller side, but comfortable, clean, and cute. The central area with its fountain and abundant plants is just gorgeous. There are tables and chairs to relax outside the room. Spacious, quiet and just beautiful. The best part of this place is the terrace. Whoa! They’ve got one of the best views in the town. You can see everything. They have a kitchen where you can store food and cook. It’s lovely. I’d make my coffee and sit on the terrace first thing in the morning listening to the birds and enjoying the 360 degree view of the volcanoes and town. The central square is two blocks, but Antigua is a walkable town. We would return here in a heartbeat.

Sehr gute Lage midst Stadt, alles ist zu Fuß erreichbar, und trotzdem ist die Umgebung ruhig. Nur Im Hotel selbst kann es etwas laut sein da es einen Innenhof hat und Geräusche abprallen. Eine Kaffee Station und Wasser gibt es im Erdgeschoss, die Dachterrasse erlaubt einen herrlich Blick auf die Stadt und den aktiven Volkan Fuego. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, immer am Lächeln.

Forgot to tell me about the coffee table that would have been nice. Clean enough showers were the old can electric. Beautiful patio on the roof but didn't let you know unless you went exploring. Friendly people so you decide.

This hotel is in the heart of Antigua which is a lovely part of Guatemala. The hotel was very clean, safe and comfortable with very friendly staff. Although it’s in the centre, I slept throughout the night without any issue of noise. Everyone I met in the hotel was welcoming and friendly. It has a self-service kitchen and laundry facilities. I really love that the hotel supports charity fundraising for street dogs 💙

Even though the place was near the center, I would not comeback. I rather stay farther up in a place that is clean and offer breakfast. Not only the rooms but the rest of the property was kept in poor condition. I did not feel good sleeping in the bed the sheets look dirty and were hard.

As we were about to get on the transport to the airport the front desk man accused us of stealing a towel … We emptied out part of our backpacks to verify that we had not taken any towel . He requested $ 20 to replace the towel . We paid it though we had not taken any towel as we did not have time to argue with him with our airport transportation waiting …….

I have stayed at Casa Rustica and Casa Antigua and Posada San Vincente is my favorite. As with the others in this chain of hotels the staff was absolutely delightful, friendly and helpful. I love the rooftop patio. This one was the best. If there were a downside, it would be that the shower did not work very well. It was one of those on demand shower heads and try as I might I could never get it adjusted correctly and at times it would just shut off.
