Nice pool, but many tiles are coming off. Breakfast was good. Great service. May stay again but there are so many hotels in the area. Over all was a good stay. Very good location.

For a "5 star" resort it was certainly falling short. Rooms were dirty, with mold and rust in the bathroom. Housekeeping didn't change sheets in 7 days. The hotel refused to give us clean towels after a trip to the beach. The large pool had hundreds of broken tiles which was a hazard to my 2 year old daughter. The hotel needs serious renovation. One day, we arrived back at our room from the beach at around 3 pm and our room hadn't been cleaned. I spoke to the front desk and were quite rude, giving me an answer like who knows? I said my daughter needs to nap, so I can't have people knocking on the door. They started speaking in Thai in what seemed to me a mocking tone. On the bright side, the kitchen staff was always very friendly and welcoming, and the food was good, but overpriced compared to the neighborhood. The hotel is in a convenient location, only 2 minute walk to the beach. Phuket is a very inexpensive place, and for the price I paid, and the 5 star claim I was quite underwhelmed.

Our room was way in the back of the complex. Walking on the pool deck, although newly replaced, was unbelievably slippery! At night, ther was a step that was not lit and someone could really fall and hurt badly! The pool, although beautiful, was very unsafe too as there were jagged tiles and underwater steps to hit with your legs. Bathroom and light switches were very awkward! Staff was nice

This property is adequate. Not great. The pool needs to be refinished. Tiles are popping off. Beautiful dolphin and elephant fountains feeding the pool are cracked and leaking on pool decking. Plants are overgrown in walkways causing you to duck and dodge. Staff was friendly and the room was mostly maintained clean however cleaning times varied from 9am to 7pm. The hotel leaves out their cleaning carts with towels, shampoo, and bottled water available simply by going out in the hallway. I would stay here again, however I would look for another property first before booking Princess Kamala again. Also the breakfast buffet is good, but there are several better more affordable options close by. I recommend eating breakfast on the beach.

Insgesamt eine sehr schöne Anlage mit großen Zimmern (Bungalows). Allerdings ist die Anlage definitiv an manchen Ecken schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Dies fällt am meisten beim Pool auf, dort muss man etwas aufpassen, damit man sich nicht schneidet.

Great location across from the beach. Beautiful hotel. Front desk staff were not helpful- I asked questions about the beach access and neighbourhood and didn’t get much assistance. Also requested an iron and ironing board and it never arrived. Room was beautiful and was cleaned well for my whole stay.

The property is on the older side but that’s why it is so spacious. The facilities are well maintained and the rooms are very clean. The main reason I gave it 5 stars is that the staff is exceptional. They go out of their way to make sure you have a wonderful stay.

The reviews are fake. This property is extremely dirty. There is mold everywhere. After complaining to the staff about how dirty the room was after checking in, they said they would come and clean. All they did was clean the floor. The bathroom are never cleaned. The sink area not cleaned. Toilet still dirty. Spoke to property manager and he did not care. He offer me a cab to the airport for when I checked out, and I said no. I asked for my money back for the nights I still had left and he said that he could not give me my money back. All he can do is give me a $10 transfer to the airport. I told him no, that is not equal or even near to the $169 I paid extra for one more night before finding out how disgusting this place was. I don’t recommend this place to anyone to stay here. Everything has mold. When I told the staff I could not believe this was a 5 star hotel, she decided to correct me and tell me it was a 4 star hotel as this is suppose to justify how dirty their place is. They also charge more depending who you are and where are you coming from. They don’t know what they are doing. They charge me for breakfast and then next day told me I never paid. Escorted me out of the restaurant like I was stealing. Unprofessional staff, they don’t care to listen or understand. Please don’t stay here, go somewhere else trust me. Reviews are fake!!!!

Hotellet har nok vært flott i sin tid, men trenger sårt en del vedligehold, spesielt bassengområdet. Dårlig renhold av bassenget. Rommene var store, men ganske mørke. Ingen møbler på balkong. Dårlig renhold. Vi måtte få bytte laken da vi sjekket inn og fant lange sorte hår på badet. Byttet rom etter en natt, fikk et med bedre utsikt. Glemte en gjenstand på badet og det tok 4 dager før de klarte å "finne" den, fikk den ved utsjekk. Betjeningen i restauranten var veldig hyggelige, og frokosten var veldig bra. God beliggenhet, rett over veien og du var på stranden.

Terrible hotel, stay away! This hotel is disgusting and filthy. The room was dirty, and the sheets were stained. It was crawling with bugs and flies everywhere. We asked for a refund, and the manager said they would approve it only if we didn’t leave a bad review. We reluctantly agreed, but afterward, they refused to give us any refund at all. Needless to say, we left the place immediately and didn’t stay the night. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place!

A great location so close to the entertainment scene but also only a few minutes' walk from the beach. But despite being so close to the nightlife it was like a quiet oasis in the middle of all hustle and bustle around. Staff were unfailingly polite and helpful, and the rooms kept immaculately clean.

Hotel was nice outside, pot luck on the rooms, our first room had an electricity pylon outside, we complained and our second room had five air conditioning units outside which we could hear through the wall. The breakfast was okay, good selection but not great. For the price we paid we expected much more.

The property was nice but the bathroom in particular could use an update. We were very disappointed that the view from our room was a rooftop & a transformer, not the lush Forrest as indicated in the picture.

Our pool-access room led to the section of the pool that was only 45cm deep. We had to walk out the front door and over a small bridge to swim in the pool (or wade through the shallow section). The 3 rooms in this section are not really pool-access rooms. Guests need to be told this. However they would be great for a family with toddlers.

This was an OK hotel with a great location (1 block from the beach). We reserved a poolside room, which was very convenient. The room itself was fine, but had a bad smell. This was an OK hotel with a great location (1 block from the beach). We reserved a poolside room, which was very convenient. The room itself was fine, but had a bad smell. Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage direkt am Strand von Kamala. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants sind direkt neben dem Hotel und man kann alles fußläufig erreichen. Am Strand sind außerdem Liegen für 100 Baht pro Person zu mieten. Das Frühstück hat eine gute Auswahl, das Restaurant ist allerdings etwas klein, sodass es sein kann, dass man kurz auf einen Tisch warten muss. Der Pool ist super um zu entspannen oder auch zu schwimmen. Das Personal ist super lieb und hat immer ein Lächeln auf den Lippen und macht den Aufenthalt noch besser. Die Zimmer sind sehr groß und das Bett war sehr gemütlich. Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber trotzdem noch in einem guten Zustand. Wir würden wieder kommen!

We had a bungalow with a nice view to the garden. The cleaning crew was very friendly and helpful especially FON the cleaning lady. The only annoying thing was the duplex, double bungalow with the wall and the door between with zero sound poofing. I could hear every word of my neighbor even the snoring and ... whatever.

Great location across from the beach. Beautiful hotel. Front desk staff were not helpful- I asked questions about the beach access and neighbourhood and didn’t get much assistance. Also requested an iron and ironing board and it never arrived. Room was beautiful and was cleaned well for my whole stay.

Didn’t have the room available in a main building that was booked so upgraded supposedly to a ‘cottage’ and the far left of complex. Cottage was spacious but no privacy when curtains drawn as all windows overlooked and no ‘net’ inner curtain. Housekeeping was non existent for us as they had not arrived by 3pm and we wanted to nap. So do not disturb sign placed on door. Next day we asked for clean towels and water which was met by a why. We also asked to be serviced early as we are early risers but do like a nap in the afternoon and The room never got serviced after that which was disappointing. Pool area needs sweeping as litter built up for days and pool itself needs maintenance but that would mean closing it which I don’t think will happen. They I asked them to provide me with normal bathroom towels and they asked me to wait at reception. After 40 minutes waiting I questioned why it was taking so long and apparently they were just going to leave me there waiting and never even asked to get the bathroom towels. When they finally did bring them the receptionist literally shoved them in my face. I then tried to get pool days for my whole stay and they never had and and every single time I passed reception there was someone complaining about something or other. They really need to sort out the towel issue and overall customer service. Apart from that the rooms and location were good.

For a "5 star" resort it was certainly falling short. Rooms were dirty, with mold and rust in the bathroom. Housekeeping didn't change sheets in 7 days. The hotel refused to give us clean towels after a trip to the beach. The large pool had hundreds of broken tiles which was a hazard to my 2 year old daughter. The hotel needs serious renovation. One day, we arrived back at our room from the beach at around 3 pm and our room hadn't been cleaned. I spoke to the front desk and were quite rude, giving me an answer like who knows? I said my daughter needs to nap, so I can't have people knocking on the door. They started speaking in Thai in what seemed to me a mocking tone. On the bright side, the kitchen staff was always very friendly and welcoming, and the food was good, but overpriced compared to the neighborhood. The hotel is in a convenient location, only 2 minute walk to the beach. Phuket is a very inexpensive place, and for the price I paid, and the 5 star claim I was quite underwhelmed.

Staff was personable, super friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet has something for everyone. Good choice and good food. We very much enjoyed our stay at Princess Kamala. The only minor inconvenience was the fact that the in room safe was not bolted down. We felt it offered zero protection for our valuables.

Poor Management - it is like the parents are away and the children are running things. Asked to speak to the Manager twice but no reply. We tried to order Room Service, but were told that they were 'too busy' to serve us. The property is not beachfront. The beach is very dirty with garbage everywhere. There are maybe 2 good restaurants in the town. Prices were high. Front desk were not too friendly. Would not visit again.

Nice property very near Kamala Beach and the nearby road with many restaurants. Excellent location. Beautiful pool with nice pool bar and fairly good prices, especially for hotel bar, but closes earlier than pool. Many cheap restaurants and bars right nearby and walkable to several other roads and entertainment. Short walk to beach right across the street. Pool was clean and pretty. We stayed in a bungalow which is hot as AC cannot be left on while out of the room, but the AC does work well to cool down the bedroom area when sleeping at night. Once you figure out the shower's hot water, it is ok but does not always get hot easily so hard to figure out how to turn on initially. Our shower was extremely small and hard to figure out how to turn on without spraying the entire toilet area, so had to hold the shower head in our hand the entire time. Pretty property. They closely track the towels, but it is hard to get yours as that desk is not open as early or as late as the pool is open. Some of the staff was great and a few were rude. Not fancy, definitely adequate and loved the quiet location. The shower was the worst part. Friend had a different bungalow which was slightly better but still small bathroom. Overall decent value It was a 300-400 Baht taxi ride to the much larger, louder, and busier Patong Beach. It takes 20-25 minutes to get there. We prefer the Kamala beach which is terrific with rentable beach chairs and people who bring you drinks and food, very nice.

A great location so close to the entertainment scene but also only a few minutes' walk from the beach. But despite being so close to the nightlife it was like a quiet oasis in the middle of all hustle and bustle around. Staff were unfailingly polite and helpful, and the rooms kept immaculately clean.

Personnel aux petits soins, un environnement très agreable : la plage à une centaine de mètres, une piscine avec suffisamment de transats, le bungalow dans un jardin luxuriant (c’est pourquoi je recommande de choisir ces bungalows plutôt que les chambres avec vue sur piscine), de nombreux restaurants a proximité . Kamala est beaucoup plus calme que Patong et sa frénésie , mais ceux qui veulent un peu d’animation durant leur séjour pourront comme nous y aller facilement et pour pas cher avec Grab, ça vaut le coup d’oeil ! Points d’amélioration : un petit déjeuner buffet assez moyen, peu de prises électriques dans les chambres, et la piscine mériterait une petite rénovation.

Everything was average at best. I won’t stay there again. But my friend who doesn’t travel often and who doesn’t care much about good service liked it. Few tables for breakfast and the wait was frustrating.
