There is parking, but it can be a bit touch and you can get blocked in. The elevator was busted. you could call it from the lobby to go up, but not from the upper floors to get back down. I was also blocked in the parking lot.

It was a lovely hotel! Very clean, friendly staff (they were very responsive- we got in very late our first night and asked for extra pillows in the morning and they brought them within 20 minutes.) The fact that there was free parking was the biggest draw though- it was also just super convenient to get to from the bridge.

This hotel has free parking which is a hard finds in this area. I also like it's cleanliness and relatively new conditions. However, our room is under ground but still quite noisy, we use the noise of window ac to tolerate the ouside noise. In addition, the bottle of the shower gel is empty and the hardware that holds the toilet paper is loose. Breakfast is just bags of cereal and some milk. If those problems corrected, I would recommend.

We had a very ti y room in the cellar. Phone did not work, ice machine broken,just a desk in the room . Cable was out , they did call spectrum cable was fixed the next day. No microwave in the room just one in the lobby.

There was no iron and ironing board inside the room nor a microwave in the room. If you needed to warm up any food you had to go to the lobby to do that.

Room was like an elevator shaft, only seating was a swivel stool, no desk, not well-cleaned. Another stay: room was better, elevator doors stuck with two guests inside along with an employee who did not address the guests and instead was giggling and speaking to someone in another language. The overall feel is unprofessional. The only advantage here is parking.

The bed is comfortable and the room is decent but the cleanliness is not as good. In fact, there was hair in the bathroom and in the sink. There was stuff on the bed between the sheets which made it clear that they did not clean the bed sheets. The floor had dust too. Overall the hotel is okay but the hygiene and cleanliness are way below average!

The place seemed fine at first glance, but I found many long, dark human hairs on my sheets, towels, and all over the floor. I do not think my bed sheets were cleaned. In general the place was dusty and scummy- dirty windows, drips of something on the bathroom walls, lots of strong air fresheners to cover up some smell. It was very noisy and I could hear everything from the halls and other rooms, as well as from the auto shop next door. Staff was rude at check-in and wouldn’t give me the WiFi password. Wouldn’t be a bad place if they just cleaned properly.

Staff were very nice and accommodating but unfortunately the room wasn’t. Bathroom floor was dirty as were the bed sheets. Internet was out about 92% of the stay. Room was hot at night. But overall, since you need to be a Palantir executive to afford a hotel room in New York, I would encourage anyone on a budget to stay here, I hope the manager reads this and makes the necessary changes so working class people can enjoy a comfortable stay in this hotel.

The bathroom was dirty when we arrived and the shower looked like it hadn't been washed in a few weeks, there were stains in the bathtub, hair in the shampoo and in the bathtub, the shower curtain had mold on it... The toilet was also still dirty from the last guest...Our room key worked half of the time, we had to ask the reactivate it almost 5 times. I never write bad reviews, but I was really disappointed.

The hotel is clean. Covenient location to Laguardia airport and US Open tennis tournament. Staff was friendly. Our queen room was a bit tight sizewise, but we only stayed for 1 night each of our two stays, and found it sufficient. Very convenient meal options about a 5-10 minute walk away. Hotel is on a bus route that stops right out front of hotel. Makes it convenient to get to many other places in the NYC area. 20 min walk to subway.

Room was dirty, with dust accumulating on the air vent. The floor wasn’t swept and some unknown dirt stuck on the quarter rounds, saw a cigarette butt with it. I took pictures of it. Asked the receptionist multiple times for a shower gel because it was empty, promised he would bring it but never did. We asked for our trash to be collected but nobody did. We chose this hotel because it was close to the city but never again will we ever come back here. Never saw a single housekeeping staff the entire 4 nights that we stayed there.

Great hotel for the price! Staff was very friendly and liked that it had parking for the guests! Only thing I didn’t like about the stay was the cleanliness of our room wasn’t the greatest. There was fried rice spilled inside the AC, the light fixtures above the bed were caked in thick dust and the thing that took the cake for me was the mattress/mattress cover (no sure which because I didn’t pull it back to look 🙈🙃) had a blood stain!!!!!

The Hotel is conveniently located next to a bus that takes you to downtown flushing & the 7 train. It's close to a shopping center with several restaurants. The rooms are tiny and the bed was not a queen as advertised, more like a full. The room was clean though. But it is noisy; you can hear the lobby from the 1st floor rooms. The airflow isn't great. But it's a decent price and good access, even if it takes an hour to get to Midtown. It is close to the Airport. This would be great for 1 person or a couple that just wants a place to crash, or if you're like me and you booked a room last minute that was still affordable, clean, and relatively safe.

It was good for what it was. If the toom is close to the elevator, you will hear everyone who take it. You alone hear the plane. Our card wasnt working on the second day. Cleaning staff forgot to gave us body wash and we had ask multiple time to have it. But the room was clean, bed comfortable, a lot of transport option near, and parking. So for the price, it was good, we slept well!

The unique thing about the property was that the units were super tiny. No ice bucket found in my unit. The iron table kept latching off and was not able to stay in its position. I ended up getting a unit next to stairwell and it was super active. Nonetheless it was an okay place

I got what I paid for. The room was halfway in the basement, meaning the window was high near the ceiling. Room was damp. There was no remote control in the room, and when they brought us a remote control, it didn't work. It only turns the TV on and off. Bed was uncomfortable...you can feel the metal springs on your back. I arrived around 6:00 pm and still had to wait for a room to be cleaned. Check in clerk was very aloof and indifferent.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Despite reading reviews mentioning poor customer service, my experience was excellent with no complaints. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to NYC. I highly recommend it if you're looking for an affordable hotel with clean and comfortable rooms.

The worst hotel I have ever stayed at. It took 4 hours to get some towels (because they didn’t clean the room), since they kept forgetting that I asked. The alarm went off on the safe when I tried to open it so I asked the front desk to turn it off. Again, they forgot that I asked and when they finally showed up, they could not fix it. They told me to wait and never came back, so I went to the front desk (since they never picked up the phone) and the same guy that told me to wait said “how can I help you?” Like he’d never seen me before. They never got it fixed and I had to put a pillow over the safe so I could sleep. There were many other things, but all in all, just a terrible experience. DO NOT stay at this hotel.

This was my birthday weekend and I was alone and staying April 4th - 7th. I left a day early because I felt unsafe. It was 10 o’clock AT NIGHT and I had just gotten out of the shower. 2 men opened my door WITHOUT KNOCKING but luckily I always keep the second latch locked. When they kept trying to get in and when I yelled at them they said they were trying to do “housekeeping”. I had to SAY go away for them to ACTUALLY go away! Not a minute later the front desk girl called the phone hooked to the room. I told her that it wasn’t okay and that they DIDNT knock. Her reply? “Yeah… sorry”. I immediately left and went to the airport! I called Expedia to see if I can get a refund for that 1 night because I didn’t stay and felt very unsafe. Expedia called the front desk girl and she said no. If you’re a girl solo traveler please don’t pick this hotel, not safe! Oh yeah before I left I didn’t receive an apology from the “housekeepers” and when I asked for the corporate number she didn’t know and just gave me a flimsy card with the hotel number on it.

Horrible customer service. Key cards reset every time you left the building and they lied to us about why. Elevator was broken. Staff lied to me and told me to stay in a room that I needed to vacate the next day. Were completely unprepared for gov ball attendees. Better off staying at a better hotel.

The hotel was a great location to Citifield And it was super clean but the rooms were claustrophobic in size. VERY small! The pictures were misleading. But it was perfect for what we needed, a place to sleep after a concert! And the parking was FREE!! Big plus in New York!!

This hotel is an excellent deal in Flushing. It’s about a 15 minute walk to the main downtown of Flushing which has lots of great places to eat and access to the subway to get to other parts of New York. Goldy and Keten and all of the staff at the Grandview were very helpful and very courteous during our 7-day stay. Yes, the rooms are small, but are nice and had all we needed. The hotel is also close to a bus line if you prefer not to walk. Easy access to Citi Field if you want to take in a Mets game. The Grandview is a great deal with easy access to all New York has to offer.

The hotel is clean. Covenient location to Laguardia airport and US Open tennis tournament. Staff was friendly. Our queen room was a bit tight sizewise, but we only stayed for 1 night each of our two stays, and found it sufficient. Very convenient meal options about a 5-10 minute walk away. Hotel is on a bus route that stops right out front of hotel. Makes it convenient to get to many other places in the NYC area. 20 min walk to subway.

I will begin by saying I am easy to please and therefore typically give good ratings. However, My experience with the front desk staff was not the best upon check in. I arrived an hour early and was told there were no rooms available then told if I paid $50 I could check in early. Although the sign says newly renovated, They must have either skipped the room I was in or did a poor job. It was quite noisy outside my 4th floor window which I do not faut the hotel with (it was due to construction plates that were placed in the road making it quite noisy each time a car passed over them) and the bus stop directly across the street didn't help. I stayed a couple of days and there was no room service. I did see the housekeeper but he was the only one I saw for the entire building. There was a large neon sign outside that advertised free breakfast. When I aksed about it the front desk person said they haven't started that yet. As for the room, it is an efficiency room. It wasn't dirty but it did not exactly look clean. there was a burn mark on the blanket that was easy to spot. I didn't spend a lot of time in the room so was able to overlook some but the price was right for the location.

This hotel has free parking which is a hard finds in this area. I also like it's cleanliness and relatively new conditions. However, our room is under ground but still quite noisy, we use the noise of window ac to tolerate the ouside noise. In addition, the bottle of the shower gel is empty and the hardware that holds the toilet paper is loose. Breakfast is just bags of cereal and some milk. If those problems corrected, I would recommend.

They should be more attentive for the cost, but it's comparatively decent for the price. Good TV, coffee and water in the lobby, you just have to ask for room cleaning. Wi-Fi is wonky but staff helps as much as they can. Would stay again.
